I'm having trouble with Safari 2.0.4 and QuickTime 7.2
Hi,
This is only a Safari issue because QuickTime 7.2 works both in FireFox and even the old Netscape.
In Safari I only get the sound with a blank screen for QuickTime videos. How do I fix this problem?
A problem I had around this was resolved by uninstalling Flash at http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157
then reinstalling it http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1ProdVersion=ShockwaveFlash
A previous thread suggested this or if that fails trying HD>Library>Internet Plugins and removing Quicktime Plugin.webplugin before restarting.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with Safari. You may want to consider resetting your device, which is different from restarting. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Hi all, Since I updated to Mavericks I am having trouble with Safari showing all the buttons/clickable options, but they are gray and will not work. Specifically, the Trash Can/Delete and the "Move to" folder button simply do not work. Any ideas?

Which operating system are you running? Not sure, click the apple on the left of the menu bar, the click about this mac. It will say version 10.6.x or 10.7.x.

I'm having trouble with importing them into iTunes and converting them at the same time. when i hold down option over the files i can't find where its supposed to say create new version. is this if you're in iTunes?
You can't do it in one step. Add to iTunes first, Once the tracks are in iTunes you may convert to a different format.

Make sure you have enough free space on your iPad. With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
Also try a reset. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
I'm having trouble with a multi channel acquisition and download with PXI-5922
I am having trouble with getting data out from both channels of a PXI-5922. My software seems to be working, but when I do the fetch there is no data for the second channel. I am using the same format for all of the channelList inputs (0,1). I've checked the instrument handles and anything else I can think of, but this is my first time trying to collect data on 2 channels of a digitizer. Any help would be appreciated.

that there are several examples that come with the NI-SCOPE driver. They can be
found in Windows by going to Start »
Programs » National Instruments » NI SCOPE » Examples. Additionally, if you find that the examples are not working either, verify that both channels are functioning by running the
NI-SCOPE Soft Front Panel.

I have redownloaded Pantha twice, hoping to redown load Safari but it doesn't work...this is the message I get...Safari cannot open a browser window and may be missing important resources. Try installing Safari again. This started when I did the software update this week. Can I delete the whole program of Safari and then just download Safari and still retrieve my bookmarks and other info without downloading the whole of Pantha.???
I have never had trouble with anything in over 2 years.Do other devices successfully connect to the network?

A tip for Panther users having trouble with Safari!
I have found it! I have found a browser that works with all websites I've used in the last couple of days. The browser works on my iBook G4 with OS X Panther and on my 9-year-old iMac G3 (bought the year they came out with colors other than Bondi Blue -- I own lime) that I upgraded from OS 9 to OS X Panther about five years ago.
Problem: Neither computer is able to use a Safari version that is newer than 1.3.2 due to OS and hardware compatibility issues. That STUNK because Safari was becoming more and more incompatible with many of my most frequented websites.

Several people suggested various things to me, but the best suggestion came from Yahoo! (My husband couldn't access his Yahoo! email account on my iMac and Yahoo! gave him suggestions to try.)
Here is the SOLUTION: SeaMonkey!
I'm using the only version of SeaMonkey the website offers for Macs, which is, I think, 1.12 or something like that. (I'm on my husband's PC right now so I can't check.) It's made by Mozilla who also makes Firefox, so you can have that groovy personal toolbar at the top that keeps links to your favorite "Favorites" right up at the top of the screen. (I love that toolbar on my husband's PC, which runs Firefox.)
Browsers I had tried but that didn't work perfectly with all sites:
Opera (8.54 and 9.6)
iCab
Firefox (I couldn't even get it to open after I downloaded it!)
IE (Always avoid this browser if you can help it.)
I hope this is helpful to youI use Camino on our few remaining Panther machines and its overall feel is much more like Safari, but opens sites that defy Safari. It's also a Mozilla product and much "leaner" than some of the other Mozilla browsers, another factor that makes it nice for older Macs.

I'm having trouble with the sync all feature and i'm not sure what to do about it
i'm using Lr 5.3 on a windows 8.1 and a really fast laptop "can render movies in after effect in minutes"
the problem i'm having is when i click the sync all button and the top loading bar moves like everybody, only the pictures viewed in my bottom slider will change even if i leave it for hours and this happen with big and small number of pictures so i tried reinstalling it and that didn't work
i do a lot of timelapses and i thought maybe if i export the video they will show with the edited settings and that didn't happen and it showed the pictures that i havent moved to view blured, like the same blue when you move fast between raw pictures
so i t tried exporting them and that worked fine but takes ages, the pictures still didn't change in the viewer but all the exported pictures did and thats not helping me in my job !
FIND ME A SOLUTION please cause i'm dealing with 500-1000 picture here and i need to move the slider every 20 sec or so every picture is changed and this takes time and effort guys !It could be overheating..........thing is ....i never realy though ibooks got that hot....the ibook does not even have a cooling fan...at least my blueberry 300mhz doesn't.
I would have to say sounds more like your hard drive may be starting to fail you.
