If you still have an Australian addess on your account then try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select Australia.

The iTunes is stuck on the "Accessing iTunes Store"
I've updated for iTunes 11 and now all the time when I open iTunes it's stuck on the "Accessing iTunes Store".
What to do so I can use the iTunes store from rhe iTunes in my computer?

Help! I'm stuck in the UK iTunes Store.
I was on a UK site and it asked if I wanted to change stores. I said Yes and now everything in the iTunes Store is in Pounds instead of dollars. How do I get out of the UK and back to the good old USA?
And what a trip changing to other stores like Kuwait and seeing what they are buying.
But don't think you can BUY from these foreign stores, even if they have tracks not available in your own country ... because you can't! and that *****, bigtime.
(Would someone kindly explain to me why the word "socks" - spelled with a u instead of o - has been replaced by *** ? Swear words I can understand, but not slang. Stop nannying us Apple.)

Do this and then try again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up -
Dear all, I have a MacBook Pro bought in April 2011. Last April, it got stuck while the wheel was spinning and I had to force it shut. That cost me my hard drive. Now, it's stuck again. I tried esc, cmd+tab, moving the trackpad on the apple, but no. HELP!

thank you for your prompt reply. After I sent the email, I left the wheel spinning to see if it would eventually stop. It didn't, but after a while the screen turned blue, so I decided to switch everything off with a forced shut-down. I could not restart with the OS DVDs because I am currently away from home, but fortunately everything was more or less fine after restarting. It then got stuck again, I forced it shut again, restarted again, and now it seem to work but I won't overdo it and will switch off smoothly after writing this (unless it gets stuck again). Last April I have replaced the HD, so it's now just under 6 months old. And, of course, since the crash occurred when I was abroad and had backed up just before I left, I have lost only a few days' work. Still, and I know this will make me hugely unpopular here, with my 5 previous laptops running on MS Windows I never had a problem. Which does not mean I loved the OS, or I would not have switched to Mac.
Anyway, and this is the main reason for this message, thank you very much again for your speedy intervention.

It sounds a lot like your phone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it prior to your trying to update it.
If that is the case, it is nowpermanently bricked. -

The iPhone 3G is Not Compatible with iOS 6...
It also appears that your phone may have been Hacked and / or Jailbroken...
If this is the case... you are out of luck... Because...

My iPhone 4 started to update but got stuck in recovery mode. I've tried everything anyone on the website has told me to do, but nothing has worked. When you go to turn it on, it shows the Apple symbol, then it goes to the connect to iTunes screen. When I do that, it just says error with the code 9006. I've followed what the Apple site has said to do for it, but the phone is still is the same state. Is there anything I can do? I need my phone back as soon as possible.

THank you Ogelthorpe. When my wife's computer I went on line to the site that you sent and tried everything But nothing worked. When my son came to visit and his MacBook Pro did exactly the same thing we became suspicious - too much of a coincidence. We took both computers somewhere else, out of our apartment, and they both booted. We ran disk utility on both, but the report in both cases was that there are no issues with the hard drive. Back in our apartment neither will boot up. My MacBook Pro is a later model with a solid state drive and it seems to work fine here.. I tried an external drive and it works fine. We think that this has something to do with some kind of magnetic interference in our apartment to which the 2009 drives are susceptible. It is indeed a mystery!

There is a known problem and I am having exact same issue. Power cycling and internet cache does not fix the issue. When a connection to a server fails it has nothing to do with caching issues. It is a network issue on AT&Ts end in a localized region. It works in multiple towers in various locations but does not work where I am. I have reported this to AT&T.

I'm trying to update my daughter's Ipad2 to the new IOS 8 and it's got stuck on the connect to ITunes display. We don't have a computer to connect it to and it's never been connected to one. How do I get past this?
You can try a soft-reset of pressing and holding both the home and sleep buttons for 10 to 15 seconds so that it reboots, but you are likely to get the same screen. If it does then it will need to be connected to a computer's iTunes so that it can be reset back to factory defaults - do you have a friend with a computer with iTunes installed on it, or is there an Apple store nearby that you could try going to (if there is then preferably make a Genius Bar appointment at it, or don't go at a busy time) ?
Has she been backing up to the cloud ? If she has then she should be able to restore to that. If not then what she can redownload for free from the stores will show in the Purchased tabs in the store apps.
