So I added about 200 songs to my iTocuh yesterday, and it has been stuck on the "updating library" screen under Music ever since then. I did add the music in stages - as in, I added some songs, then got some more and plugged the iPod in again (maybe this has something to do with it). I would restore the iPod, but I have music on it that is not on my Macbook and I don't want to lose that music. Help please!

Correction: I plugged my iPod back into my mac, it backed up/updated etc. and now when I go to my music, it returns me to the home screen. What is going on!?

Too many people are flooding Apple's servers, everyone is having this issue, try every so often, or wait until tomorrow.

Hi Risdian, thanks for the comments and suggestions, however none seemed to lead to any success. When setting the carrier off automatic, after a few seconds of searching the device returns the message, "Unable to load network list", and I have placed my sim into another unlocked iPhone 5 and it worked perfectly, picking up service almost immediately. I can also iMessage and connect to wifi fine, so i don't fully understand the issue.
I guess my iPhone is in need of repair, so if there are no other conceivable 'at home' fixes, i'll have to bring the phone to the apple store for a diagnosis. Any other suggestions or comments would be happily welcomed

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Have you tried another cable?
Another charging source? Does iTunes see the iPod when you connect to your computer?
Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and cracked or broken plastic.

Trying to access Apple Store and keep getting a message saying it's being updated saying the same thing in different languages, been like this for about 4 hours now?

First time I'm trying to access the Apple Store on my iMac and for the last few hours I have a message in various languages saying it is being updated.

It is down the world over. Apple is announcing new iPhones (and perhaps more) today at a press conference near Apple HQ in California USA at 12:00 o'clock noon, Pacific Day-light Savings Time. In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

I tried to restore my phone. The only thing that's stuck is my photos. It says downloading 19 of 277. It's been like that for over two days. I tried to restore it again. I even tried to turn it off and on. Not all my photos are copied onto my computer. :(

This happened to me, it took me 44 hours to restore my photos. I explained everything under a similar question just two days ago. Mine got stuck for six hours on 139 of 811 and again at different places the last was 8:00 last night at 800 of 811, finally completed at 4:00 am this morning. Keep it plugged in, close to your wi-fi, make sure you wi-fi in connected in settings . Keep it in the locked sleeping position and don't use it. Tell everyone not to text or call you for the next 24 hours. If you have to use it don't unplug it, text back or answer the call an then immediately lock it and let it sleeps. When you use it it stops the restore and has to start up again. Hope this helps
