In order to allow it to be used on a different carrier, the phone was hacked or jailbroken. An unauthorized modification was made to the phone. That modification has damaged the phone. You can not get support for it here or from Apple. -

I have a production mobile Flex app that uses RemoteObject calls for all data access, and it's working well, except for a new remote call I just added that only fails when running with a release build. The same call works fine when running on the device (iPhone) using debug build. When running with a release build, the result handler is never called (nor is the fault handler called). Viewing the BlazeDS logs in debug mode, the call is received and send back with data. I've narrowed it down to what seems to be a data size issue.
I have targeted one specific data call that returns in the String value a string length of 44kb, which fails in the release build (result or fault handler never called), but the result handler is called as expected in debug build. When I do not populate the String value (in server side Java code) on the object (just set it empty string), the result handler is then called, and the object is returned (release build).
The custom object being returned in the call is a very a simple object, with getters/setters for simple types boolean, int, String, and one org.23c.dom.Document type. This same object type is used on other other RemoteObject calls (different data) and works fine (release and debug builds). I originally was returning as a Document, but, just to make sure this wasn't the problem, changed the value to be returned to a String, just to rule out XML/Dom issues in serialization.
I don't understand 1) why the release build vs. debug build behavior is different for a RemoteObject call, 2) why the calls work in debug build when sending over a somewhat large (but, not unreasonable) amount of data in a String object, but not in release build.
I have't tried to find out exactly where the failure point in size is, but, not sure that's even relevant, since 44kb isn't an unreasonable size to expect.
By turning on the Debug mode in BlazeDS, I can see the object and it's attributes being serialized and everything looks good there. The calls are received and processed appropriately in BlazeDS for both debug and release build testing.
Anyone have an idea on other things to try to debug/resolve this?
Platform testing is BlazeDS 4, Flashbuilder 4.7, Websphere 8 server, iPhone (iOS 7.1.2). Tried using multiple Flex SDK's 4.12 to the latest 4.13, with no change in behavior.
Thanks!After a week's worth of debugging, I found the issue.
The Java type returned from the call was defined as ArrayList. Changing it to List resolved the problem.
I'm not sure why ArrayList isn't a valid return type, I've been looking at the Adobe docs, and still can't see why this isn't valid. And, why it works in Debug mode and not in Release build is even stranger. Maybe someone can shed some light on the logic here to me. -
A lot of my songs, once put on the iCloud, will not download to my iPod. They are in my iTunes library, already downloaded, but will not appear in my library on my iPod. There is no common thread for the origin of the songs--many were ripped from CD's, others purchased in the iTunes store. Before I started using iCloud, all music in my iTunes library was on my iPod without any issues.

- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

Apple devices ignoring DHCP rules - using up all my IP addresses on the FiOS-G1100
Your lease time may be causing a bug in the DHCP client on Apple devices. That is an unusually long lease time so I wouldn't be surprised if it was something like an integer vs float vs signed integer problem in the code. Please consider cutting the leases down to 3600 minutes, and then use DHCP Reservation for any devices that you own which you would like to keep on a fixed IP.
Now if this is for guest devices, consider limiting your least time to 30 to 60 minutes. Many devices are mobile and do not need 90 day long leases. People using our guest network end up taking all our non-static addresses and then we have none left to issue out to other users or staff. I'm about to receive my third g1100 from Verizon and I'm pretty sure it's not the box but the firmware. I've had to do 2-3 hard resets on both boxes since Jan '15 to erase everything and start over with loading custom settings back in. A Huge pain. Once all addresses are taken up and you login as Admin on the router, half of the UI options have now disappeared. Also in general there is no way to manually force the router to expire LAN IP addresses even after a hard reset. Or is there and I just have never seen this option? Anyone else experience this? I've spent about 3 hours with multiple reps who either don't believe me or have no idea how their product works. I'm beginning to either think I'm crazy or there's a bug and no one has reported it yet. Best,Lockdown

???? How do I power up my iPad? My iPad won't power up. It just stays a black screen. Tried the start up button, the home button, pressing them down and holding.
Could be the battery is completely drained. Use the charger that came with the iPad and plug that into a known good wall outlet. Let it charge for at least an hour. Then, while it is still plugged in reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
If the device restarts let it remain on the charger until the battery indicates 100%. If it still will not turn on Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -

Has photoshop updated recently and started using EXIF orientation to display photographs with the right rotation?
I thought in the past it ignored the EXIF orientation, but it seems like it is now using it. Does anyone know if you can tell it not to use this information when displaying the image on the screen?

It's just odd since last year we've been using this setup fine with v13.0 and now with v.13.0.3 it doesn't work. The reason for our two independent video cards is so that one card sends video to the monitor screen of the teacher, the second card sends a video signal that can be switched to either a projector or 8 lcd monitors in the lab (we've invested a lot of video infrastructure for this lab). When we tested using a single card for both outputs we would get an odd interlace horizontal thin bar that would go top to bottom ever so slowly. This would appear either when looking at video or when moving windows around. Doing the dual video cards solved that issue for us and have been using the setup since 2009. -

I have music on a stick drive which I want to transport to itunes on my desktop PC running Vista. I downloaded itunes but cannot find a page on itunes to load the music onto.. When I put the stick into the USB port, an AutoPlay box comes up which says Play using .Windows Media Player..............Import music, pictures, video using Real Player. Open folder to view files using Windows explorer etc.....& set Auto Play Defaults in control Panel. By library page, I mean the page on itunes where the music would be transported to & listed by each name so I can listen to it.

Yes but it is then difficult to get the iPod to sync with your computer later. It can be done by backing up the iPod on the friend's computer and then moving the iPod backup file to your computer and transfering iTunes purchased to yur computer and then restore the iPod from that backup and syncing.

I'm just trying to update from 3.5.8 to the latest version. Started on the website and it downloaded a desktop image only, no application. Then tried on Firefox to update under "Help". It's been spinning for an hour! Help. I just want the latest version
If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

I've just hooked my 20" iMac display up to my Toshiba 37" HDTV using a mini dvi-HDMI adapter, and everything works well, EXCEPT for the green tinge (or hue) that is showing up. Everything else looks pretty good though..... The color that is on my iMac is still good, Its just green on the TV.
Anyone have suggestions or ideas?Try opening the Display System Preferences, then click on the Color options in the Display preferences window that appeared on the Toshiba display. Click on the Calibrate button and follow the instructions for creating a custom ColorSync profile that will hopefully solve the green tinge issue. The Apple Display Calibrator Assistant software that launches when you click on the calibrate button will walk you through the process.Assuming that the green tinge is minor and that you don't have a more serious cable or hardware issue, I am hopeful the results will be worth it.

my macbook wont start the screen turn blue and stay like that for hrs. It only work when i use safe mode, i try to use disk utilities to fix it but the disk utilities keep saying error and a bunch of other stuff. All of a sudden my iTunes stopped working, and I get the following error messages:
1. the program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
and
2. iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126).
Now I've checked the forums and followed the advice of uninstalling all Apple applications, rebooting, and reinstalling iTunes.
This is not working. I've tried installing as Administrator but doesn't make any difference at all.
There must be a way to fix this? I'm not a tech geek but I want to avoid having to take my laptop back to factory settings to sort this out.
ThanksClick here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
