I'M LAZY, looking for shortcut for Filters/Groups

We're migrating from Win2000 to AIX. All the users and securties will be the same. Is there anyway I can copy the users, groups and filters from Win2000 to the AIX, v. 6.5.3, without having to do it manually? Any software or file that can be transfered. Hyperion says they don't support such a thing.Javan

I used the tool on olapunderground for my migration from 5.0.2 to 6.5.1 and it worked well as a straight transfer program. It's sort of a mixed bag to use to administer security, but the transfer tool is fairly straightforward.

  • Looking for filters for Pixel Bender CS4 32 bit OS

I just downloaded and installed Pixel Bender as I am hoping to get something similar to 'oil painting".
Looking for filters for Pixel Bender for:
                                                           CS4 32 bit OS.
    Is there any out there?

I don't think you'll find an oil paint filter for photoshop cs4, since it wasn't until photoshop cs5 and pixel bender that had the oil paint filer and as far as i know, adobe
has never made the oil paint code public.
There used to be lots of pixel bender filters for photoshop cs4 on the adobe exchange, but adobe shut it down.

You can look at what was available and see if any external links are given to the authors websites where you still be able to get some of them.

Is this feature still in CS5.5?
    Thanks

  • Hi:  I'm looking for a group contact app for my iphone 4.  Any ideas

I have Iphone 4 os 5.  I want a app that I can create a group and then send out a mass email or sms text by just keying in that group name.  What do you recommend?

    Use Reflector:
    http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/
to display the iPod on your computer's screen. You can then use screen capture software to make a recording of your actions. No need to jailbreak.
    Regards.

  • Looking for app to quickly with keyboard shortcut (i.e. Control   R) resize photos like I can do with Irfanview in Windows

    Hello,
I am trying to switch from Windows to OSX but must first find Mac equivalent solutions for daily tasks performed in Windows.
    1. I am looking for an app to quickly resize photos using keyboard shortcuts, i.e. Control + R, just like I can do with Irfanview in Windows.
    2. I am looking for an app which will quickly resize multiple photos like I can do with Irfanview.
    3. I am looking for another (or the same) light weight app to quickly convert and combine one or more jpgs to PDF. The windows app I am currently using is called JPEGtoPDF from www.compulsivecode.com.
Many thanks for helping me switch to OSX!

Photoshop Elements has the ability to sync and save photos in Adobe Revel with the use of mobile albums. Photoshop Elements is a consumer product that is not included in creative cloud. Photoshop is the professional photo editing app that is included in Creative Cloud.

    ATL + shift + l
    ATL + q
    ATL + a
    ATL + shift + e
    ATL + z
    ATL + x
    ALT + SHIFT + g
    ALT + SHIFT + f
they are for mac I them would like for pc... Thank you

Ah, thanks. Goes to show how carefully I look at keyboards these days...
So Opt(alt) on the Mac should map to Alt on PC.
It would actually be helpful if the OP told us waht the shortcuts were meant to do...
And there's always the help files. A complete list of default shortcusts is at http://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/default-keyboard-shortcuts.html

Find an alternate app in the app store, or login to your email account via a web browser (if that is an availableoption with your provider). The only mailboxes you can delete en mass from in the native app is the trash.

I signed up for my apple account while living in Canada, and now I lives in the US. I am looking for a specific app that apparently is only available through the US app store. How can I change my account to the US Apple Store?

As long as you have a form of payment (credit or debit card) with a USA source, and with a billing address in the USA, then you just need to change your payment information on your account to that, change your country in the store settings, and you will then be able to shop in the USA store.
Your AppleID will work in any country's store, as long as your payment source and billing addres are also specific to that country (and you are in that country as well, as there may be IP filters in place to stop use outside of the country).

  • Create a Navigational Hierarchy for filtering with the Table API

    Hello,
I've built a WAD report acourding to the how to document: "Create a Navigational Hierarchy for filtering with the Table API".
It works great but i dont know How to make the hirarchey to show the key and the text.
    Please Advice.

    Hi Kenneth,
please have a look in the source of the executed Web Application. What is inside of the <div> with the id filter?
You should also find a td tag with id hier_xyz with xyz the filter inside of the <div>-Tag with id filter.
Also check whether you have a javascript error.
Have a look on the Javascript function set_style. Perhaps you can paste it here, than I can have a look.

  • Looking for a solution to simply drop outliers

I have created an application to measure a Helium concentration, using an Alcatel ASM-102 Leak Detector.  The problem is that occasionally, the device sends out a bogus value, perhaps 0.00x10^0 or perhaps 2 x 10^-2, reather than 2 x 10^-7.  I am looking for the cleanest approach to look at the array when I'm done, and just discard any values that do not fall between 1 x 10^-6 and 1x10^-3.  Any ideas?

altenbach, as usual, your programming is really easy to follow.  OK, so here is the last piece of the puzzle.  I actually have two arrays:  one is a helium concentration, and the other is a helium flow. My flow values are always good, but as I said before, there are sometimes bad values in the concentrration array.  SO, what I want to do is to eliminate the flow element that corresponds to any bad concentration element.  Hmmm, sounded like a good idea when I did it   Anyway, you can see that the result that I currently have is that the filtered flow array is simply the last n elements of the raw flow array, n being equal to the delta between the array size of the raw concentration and the filtered concentration arrays.  I hope I haven't managed to confuse you with that nonsense.
Basically, if I drop 5 elements from the raw concentration array, due to their not having passed through the filter, then I show the last 5 flow values in the filtered flow array, rather than passing all but 5 of the values.
If 15 of 20 helium concentration values are good, then I pass the last 5 helium flow values, rather than the 15 values that correspond to the 15 good concentration values.
HELP!  If I can't figure this out, I may just take the average of the good concentration values, and the average of all the flow values, and do the rest of my calculations based on averages, rather than calculating each value based on a known good concentration and a known good flow.

  • Looking for a "free" Date Picker

I'm looking for a free to download and use Date Picker that I can integrate into a small Swing app. Nothing fancy, just a calendar (probably using a JTable) and the ability to select a day of year/month and (possibly) a time of day.
I'm searching google but they're all commercial licenses and I'm simply building this app as a learning process, not for profit.
If there's nothing out there, I'll just stick with my series of combo-boxes :)

  • Looking for a lens

Looking for a lens that will take sharp flower, bug photography, but also sharp portrait pictures. Thank you!

Incidentally, a true "macro" lens (1:1 image scale meaning image on the sensor is the same size as the object being photographed in real life) provides the best performance.
There are other ways to do close-up photgraphy.
You can use "close up diopters" -- these are filters that thread onto the front of your lens (like a jeweler's magnifying loupe).  They're much less expensive, but not as versatile and you may notice the image quality around the edges of the frame aren't quite as good.
You can use "extension tubes".  These are hollow barrels (there is no glass in an extension tube) that are mounted between the camera and lens.  You attach the extension tube to the camera body (as if it were a lens) then you attach the lens to the extension tube.  They're not very expensive.  By moving the entire lens farther away from the sensor, the entire focus range of the lens is shifted closer (the lens can now focus on subjects much closer than it could previously manage focus -- but also can not focus all the way out to "infinity" when the extension tube is in use.
When doing very close photography the depth of field gets extremely narrow.  If you lock focus, but then your body moves forward or backward -- even by just a few millimeters -- then you'll throw off the focus on your intended subject.  A tripod is a very handy at preventing that accidental shift.
Since the depth of field is so very narrow, it may not be possible to capture some objects completely in focus from front to back.  Part of a flower may be sharp... but other areas quite out of focus.  To resolve this, you can take multiple images and manually shift the focus just a very tiny bit each time.  The set of images can be combined using "focus stacking" (Photoshop does this as part of the "photo merge" capability.)  There are stand-alone programs that do focus stacking as well.   You can also buy a device which mounts on the tripod called a "focus rail"... the camera is mounted on a short "track" ... perhaps 6" long.  The rail has a knob on it with index marks and allows you to carefully move the camera by precise distances for each exposure.

Looking for a 58mm protective or UV filter for a Canon Macro Lens EF using a Cannon MR-14EX Macro Ring Lite flash unit.
The lens has an external groove for the ring flash pawls, but filters I've found do not.  The external diameter of the filters does not allow the ring flash pawls to reach the lens groove.  I either need a filter with an external groove or one with no part larger diameter than the threads.  Any ideas?  Thanks, Tom

Which lens are you using?  This adapter will work, so long as the front element doesn't rotate.
