When I tried entering the password for my iPhone the phone became disabled. I've tried several times and the phone is now disabled for 60 minutes. I know that the password i am entering is correct as the settings are set so that the password comes on every time I want to use the phone, and I use the phone a lot, so if the password I am entering is correct why does it say that it's wrong?

Either you're typing it in wrong, or it got changed by someone.
Try '1111', '1234' or '0000'.

With some routers, during that first set up it asks you for the password, but what it really wants is the full security code, not the password. I have seen this many times. Go back to the router and get full code. It is usually a
Ong meaningless string. If you cannot find it, reset the router to make it generate a new one. When you trymto join the network on the pad, use that and not the password. See if that helps.
By the way, once you join, it will remember, and you will not need the string again unless you do a full restore or 'forget' the network.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

I usually can eventually access the router, but it is way to much trouble. However, I use my iPad hundreds of times more often than my laptop.

Are you typing http:// in front of the IP address of the router? e.g. http://192.168.0.1

Udated my iphone and I am unable to connect to wi-fi even though it shows up in my setting. My ipad is abel to connect. I reset the modem and then the router still nothing. It just says unable to connect. Searched the internet and found this to be a common problem. I have a router that is an 802.11n network but like I said my ipad has no problems. Any sollution out there other than restting my router?

I'm locked out of my IPhone 3 and I cannot find the serial number

This wouldn't be an issue if I could find the serial number. However, since this is an IPhone 3, I don't know if the serial code is on the outside of the device. I set my password, then when I tried it, it wouldn't let me in. I checked on the back of the device to find the serial number, however, it doesn't seem to be printed.
It says: 'Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China. Model Number: ***** FCC ID: ********* IC ID: ****-******'
I do not know if the FCC ID or the IC ID is the serial number or not. I need the serial number to get service, and I need service to get the serial number. That's my issue.
My computer, for whatever reason, also cannot download ITunes. Although I know there is a way to do 'recovery mode' with connecting the phone to ITunes, I'm having trouble doing that.

Movies and some TV Shows wont play on iPhone even though they appear in the Movies section

I have an iPhone 4S and my old 3GS and after upgrading to iOS 5 neiher will play all of the Movies and TV Shows that sync across from iTunes.
I already have issues with incorrect media that won't sync based on compatibility grounds, but these videos have synced onto the devices but show up in the Videos secion as greyed out options that can't be clicked.
In some cases two of the three episodes will play but the third is just a grey option.
Does anyone know what is causing this?
The problem exisits both with video ripped from DVD's and video purchased from the iTunes store.

It sounds like you have some items on the phone taking up space but you cannot find them to delete them.
First, if you have not already start by restarting the phone and your computer, then try the sync again to see if it updates correctly.

If it gets to the point in which it locks your phone for security purposes (unable to enter password at all) You would need to restore your phone usings iTunes.
