I'm looking for a "tools" tab w/internet options on it and can't find it
I recently downloaded Mozilla and in looking over the new page i noticed that there is no tool bar w/File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, and Help like there is in Internet Explorer. I'm just wondering if it exists and if it does can you please tell me where I can find it. thanks
Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

I just want to know why some books are not carried by the iBooks store? I wanted to buy the latest R.A. Salvatore book, "The Companion" but could not find it at the store. This is the second time I wanted to buy a book that the store did not carry. I just wonder why? And is there a way I can use, "Nook for IPad" to get the books I want?
Apple can only sell in a particular country what the book publishers grant them licenses to sell - if the publisher of that book hasn't done so, then Apple can't sell it.
Depending upon what country that are in, and therefore what apps and stores that you have access to (most ebooks have DRM which tie them to the store's own app), then you could try Amazon/Kindle, Nook, or Kobo etc and see if they have it -

If your account is an Administrator type, enter YOUR password to your account. You can check this from System Preferences / Users & Groups. Look in the left pane at your userID and see if it has Admin underneath it. If it does, you're an adminstrator. If it has Standard; then look for an account that has Admin and you will need that password.

I uninstalled adobe flash player from my Mac Leopard OS X 10.5.8 and need to get a new version but it asks for the 10.6 before installing and apple won't accept it or the installation is not complete. Now I have no adobe and can't access any apps period without that and the plug-in. The directions are too confusing.
Okay, a few comments... first, that tech at Future Shop has his numbers wrong. As of January of this year, according to my testing, Norton is actually only 73% protection against currently-active Mac malware. That's pretty darn bad, especially when you factor in the fact that Norton is well-known for causing problems. You may think Norton hasn't caused you any problems, but if you've had it installed for 15 years, you'd probably be shocked at how your machine would perform without it. It's probably a large part of the reason that you keep seeing that rainbow wheel cursor.
If Norton's log shows no malware, that doesn't mean Norton caught it, it means Norton never saw any malware to begin with. Which, since it's not so good at spotting it, doesn't really mean much.
Mac malware is rare enough that you've probably never seen any. However, note that running an outdated version of Flash is one of the dangerous things that could change that. Insecure versions of Flash were known earlier this year to be exploited by Mac malware. All you'd have to do is visit the wrong website and you'd be infected.
For this reason, regardless of what you do about anti-virus software, I strongly advise that you not install one of those outdated versions of Flash. If your computer is able to run Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), you should upgrade to that system, then update it fully (Apple menu -> Software Update). Not only is there no known malware currently capable of infecting a fully up-to-date Snow Leopard system, but you'll also be able to run a more secure version of Flash.

You used to be able to view them on your computer in your I tunes library under rented and choose the option to watch on computer or stream to your Apple TV. I too have the problem and can't find the film I downloaded which incidentally took 33 hours!

There are several rapid application development (RAD) tools, most of which can be used to develop applications against an Oracle database. Oracle's offerings in this area are:
Designer: This is our premium application development tool, suitable for extremely large, complex projects
Developer: This applications development tool allows you to quickly create forms based applications.
JDeveloper: Allows you to create Java based applications.
The ramp-up time on the first tool might eliminate it from consideration (Designer has so many capabilities that we have an entire curriculum devoted to helping application developers get the most out of it). I've thrown together quick, relatively simple applications using Developer in a matter of hours, but you will find that any tool will be slow going at first until you get used to its environment.
Of the non-Oracle offerings, my favorite has to be Inprise's Delphi. Like Oracle's Developer, it takes a while to get used to the development environment but I haven't seen too many things I wanted to do that couldn't be done in Delphi. -

i am looking for a tool, program that can search all our reports installed on Business Objects Xi R3 for specific content in text fields and formulas.
We used a couple of years ago .rpt inspector, that worked pretty well for our purpose.
Unfortunately this is Win XP & Win Server 2003 only, so we can't reuse it anymore.
(I know there are way of getting WinXP that in a VMware, but that is not an option in our company.)
So i am interested , if there is another tool out there, which can help us?

I want to print just a portion of a page but can't find a preference tab. I highlight a section of a page so I can print just that section but I am unable to find a preference tab, I have a HP 6600 all in one and have a new Mac version 10.9.4 Mac OSX

Please try the following:
Reset the printing system. OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system.
Verify and repair disk permissions. Disk Utility 12.x: Repair disk permissions.
Make sure you have the full feature software and drivers installed. HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Driver - OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
After that you will want to make sure the correct driver is selected. Make sure it says HP Officejet 6600 instead of the HP Photosmart that is shown in these images, and not Airprint.
Let's start with that, and we will go from there!

How can I download my TV episodes to my Macbook Pro. I bought them from my iPad2, and I looked for them with the same AppleID on iTunes Store and they wont download to my iTunes.
What country are you in ? Depending upon what country that you are in then you might be able to redownload them on your Mac's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the iTunes store homepage
If you're not in a country where TV programmes can be redownloaded then connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and use the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over from your iPad -

For some reason Aperture will not open. I get the message "Aperture Library.aplibrary is an iPhoto library and cannot be opened in Aperture. However, I am not trying to open an iPhoto library nor do I have any photos in an iPhoto library.
