I'm not getting emails from iTunes? Help?
So this all started a year ago when my first Apple iD just stopped working one day. I used an aim account and I had forgotton the password for that and I only recently reset it yesterday, so saying that, I tried resetting my Apple iD password for my first account but I haven't received any emails to either my back-up email or my first email. My first Apple iD has 80 dollars on it, and I would like access to it again.
(sorry if this is confusing)
Breakdown: I'm not receiving emails from iTunes to either email and I can't access my apple account and I want my 80 dollars back.

I note that your email got to me fine - were you using the address that I gave in my posting or were you using the one in my profile? Could you overwrite the address in my profile with what you used to eliminate the possibility of a stray control character?

They are not from Apple/iTunes, they are phishing attempts to try and get your account and payment details - don't click on any of the links in them.

I am not getting emails from places that i signed up for. i know that they are ok
I signed up to get emails from nomorerack , overstock.com, . I have asked comcast and the websites that i signed up for to see if they could fix it no such luck. Been trying for the last 3 months. i just dont understand what is going on. i believe my email setting are all ok. when i was with earthlink i never had any problems with my email.

Am not getting email from 10.6.8 and pop won't let me save p/word

Using MB 10.6.8I seem to have a similar but not exact problem you do. In my case, I'm opening a previous version iMovie project (iMovie 4) in iMovie HD 5.0.2 which asks to convert the project to the new version's format. Okay.
After making some changes, I attempt to save the project but it only saves a replicated project file in the old iMovie 4 format. Subsequent launches of this saved project ask to reconvert the file to the new iMovie HD as well as notify me that all transitions, effects, audio, etc. that were performed in the previous editing in HD are now in the trash; all clip arrangements are gone. I'm back to the beginning of the original iMovie 4 project status.
If I do a Save Project As... option, this is where it becomes similar to your problem. It will go through the progress of saving a copy of the iMovie project and its dependant files (clips, audio, etc.) but at the end serves up the error message "The Project Couldn't Be Saved. The disk may be locked, read-only, or completely full. Try saving to a different location." None of the files or project are saved, and there is more than ample space (130GB) for the small project (10GB).
This seems to be an overall bug with iMovie 5.x. -
When I send a email from our custom development in portal, I am not getting any email. I am wondering why? there is no error.
custom form is displaying and when we enter the value and click the submit button, it suppose to send email. but not getting any email and there is no error.

Hello there, just recently i have added some Itunes money to my itunes account to buy some songs. When i go to buy a song though it says that i need verification and i need to answer my two questions. Unfortunatelty i have forgotten the answers to them questions so i visit the apple website and they say that they send an email to my hotmail account to reset the questions. But when i go to my emails they have not sent me one! I have tried many other emails that may be lincked to my itunes account but none of them are recieving thie email! Please help what do i do!

Hope you can help because I am stumped. A few days after installing Mountain Lion (not that I think that necessarily has anything to do with it), I stopped receiving email from a particular sender. The email from this person is very important, so I've been trying to figure out what's going on. He is in my Contact list. I have received email from his successfully for months. We did some testing yesterday. I think the email is coming in, then being deleted immediately. I hear a little ding in the background when he sends me something, but it doesn't make it into any of my inboxes.
I have temporarily disabled junk mail filtering. I also can't find a setting that indicates to delete anything automatically. I am at a loss.
Any ideas?

SharonGo to Mail Preferences, and click the "Rules" icon. Make sure there are no rules that move these messages to another folder (you can just uncheck the rules to deactivate them).
Also try searching for the sender's email address to see if it turns up - be sure to click "All" in the mailbox row after typing his address in the search box.
And depending on what email service you use, you may want to check to make sure there are no "rules" or "filters" in the web site - for instance if you use gmail, you can set up filters in gmail that "archive" a message before Apple mail ever sees it - the mail is still there, you just wouldn't see it in your inbox. The only way to fix it is to log in through the gmail web site.
Another possibility is that you accidentally turned on "threaded" mail view, which is extremely confusing if you don't expect it. Instead of grouping by date, the messages will be grouped by subject line - and if the person sending this message is replying to an old message of yours, it will continually group those new messages together with the old ones. Click the "View" menu, and check to see if the "Organize by conversations" option is turned on or off. Or maybe it's even simpler - maybe your mail is no longer sorted by date - what does it say at the top of the list of messages?
Of course there's alwys the possibility that he has the wrong email address in his contacts, so keeps sending to the wrong address over and over again. He should try manually typing your full email address, and not accepting the "autofilled" suggestion. -
I have email accounts at aol and gmail. Some senders are blocked when they try to send me email at aol. Both accounts are synced only ipad2. It doesn't seem to matter if they are in my contact list or not. Is there a setting I need to change? Please help. Thanks
They are on your iCloud mail, if you had that option activated on iCloud.

Hi, I have 3 email accounts on my Iphone, the 2 that are POP accounts work fine, but after the last update I quit getting my IMAP email accounts to my phone, but they still come to my Mail program fine.

I've made a few tests and found that all emails that coming from Gmail are blocked somewhere.(only from Gmail)
I must say, that the problem is only to receive email from Gmail, there's no problem sending to Gmail.

i formatted my computer and now i would like to sync my music from my iphone back to the computer, is there any way to do this? i don't want to loose my music. p.s. all my music that was on the computer was there privately, i did not get it from itunes.

Not receiving emails from a certain address
Myslef or my wife, both of which have icloud emails, are not receiving emails from a relator business. We are able to send emails to them, they receive them, but on their reply, we don't get them. I have tried adjusting the spam filters, to no avail. The realtor is able to send email just fine to my work email, but not to either of our me.com addresses.. why would this be? Does anyone have any ideas? We receive email just fine from many other sources.. however, who knows how many emails we haven't received because of this.

I am signed into my iTunes account. However, Im asked for answers to security questions I can't remember. I have clicked to reset through e-mail, yet I am not getting any email from iTunes. Any advice on fixing this?
If you are not getting the email, you can contact Apple Support to have your Security Questions reset:
ACCOUNT SECURITY CONTACT NUMBERS
Once you get them reset, check your Rescue Email address on Manage Your Apple ID to make sure it is still a functional address. It is not the same as your primary or alternate address.

I have installed Mountain Lion 10.8.2 but still cannot get email from my work exchange account. I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.
You can go to the Apple online store and purcahse a copy of Mountain Lion. This will give you a redemption code, which you can use to download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Unfortuantely, I'm not aware of any other way to legally purchase it. I have never seen Apple release Muontain Lion on DVD.
In terms of Apple Service, they just need the serial number of the machine to check the purcahse date. It is usually correct, to within a few weeks. A quick Google search should give you the correct number to dial.

I've tried updating in the following conditions:
1. "Over The Air" at one location;
2. On a Windows computer running the latest version of iTunes at the same location;
3. On Mavericks (10.9.4) running the latest version of iTunes (11.4 (18)) at another location;
4. On Mavericks, latest iTunes over a VPN with a server location in US;
5. On Mavericks, using a 3G connection shared from an iPhone;
6. On Yosemite developer preview with a previous version of iTunes at the same location.
I got the same results in most cases except for an occasional error with code 9; I'll try again in other conditions.
Interestingly enough, I've successfully updated my devices to iOS 7.1.2 and to iOS8 GM without any issues at the same location but, of course, no two conditions are exactly the same
