I'm not recieving all my texts

My iPhone is not receiving all my texts. I get SOME of them, but not most. I have the new iphone 3G.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I called AT&T and they can see no reason why I shouldn't be receiving all my texts. I'm not sure if this is an apple issue or an AT&T issue.

This ended up being an AT&T problem.
Here is the solution that I found over on an AT&T forum:
*Call the 800 number: 1-800-331-0500*
*and ask to speak with AT&T Tech Support.*
*Tell Tech Support to check your LRN (Location Routing Number) and the MetCalf database.*
*I did this 2 weeks ago and I'm finally getting SMS texts from others on non-AT&T networks*
I'm still not getting my SMS messages, but AT&T seems to understand the nature of the problem and I'm told it should be fixed within 24 hours.

New xperia z1- not recieving all messages?

Hi guys
I upgraded from an iPhone 4s to the Xperia z1 on Saturday and am so far loving it. However, I'm not recieving all text messages from people. In order to fix this i tried putting my sim back into my old iPhone, turning off iMessage, leaving the phone for about half an hour then putting the sim back in my Sony. However I'm still not getting all messages. Any ideas...?

HT1212 I did the 10s7 update and now I recieve all my text back after I send them and My wifes text she recieves goes to my phone.When updating it said my phone was now using her appleid how can we change that

I did an update to the 1os7 and now I recieve my wifes text that she reiceves and the text I send out comes right back to me as the recipent..How do I fix this.When updating it said I was using my wifes apple ID

Got it sorted though. Seems that Apple has issues with multiple apple id's.
Seems i had to somehow remember and use the original id i had when i first bought my 1st iPhone. . . .
Even after that it was extremely hard to get my apps back on my PC.

Not recieving calls or texts on my iphone. Just noticed this about 4 hrs ago. Help!

I just noticed that I am not receiving calls or texts on my iphone. I am able to call out and receive voice mail.. I tried turning it off and back on, and also took out the SIM card and replaced it. Still not working. Any suggestions?

Wow! I hope the weather is great where you're at and not affecting your phones! That sure is a problem that you are having. Let's see if we can get it fixed.
Now, are you not getting ALL calls or is it just some? Is this mainly indoors? Signal strength may vary indoors just based on the building and sometimes the call will not be able to find your phone and result in a simple voicemail notification. Also, have you made sure like Ann154 stated that your phones are programed correctly? What happens on the one device when you try and make a call? Do you get an error or any error when send/receiving a text? Let us know!

I'm not receiving all my text messages...

This has been going on for a few days now. I'll receive some texts but not all of them. Also, my fiance has to send a text multiple times in order for me to actually get it. We're both Verizon. I have a Samsung Illusion and he has an original EnV. Please help!

Sorry to hear you're not receiving all of your text messages alilbaby2013! I have a few questions to see where the issue may lie.
1) Are you using the native texting app or a downloaded one?
2) Does this only happen with your fiance, or is it other people too?
3) Do they come in delayed or not at all?
4) Please reprogram your phone by dialing *228 and choose option 1. Once it's done programming, restart the device. Have your fiance do the same thing and retest.
Keep us posted with any developments and let us know the results of your testing.

Iphone 3gs keeps rebooting and not recieving calls or texts ?

My iphone is a 3gs 16g and it has been goin very wel untill the other day i went to charge it and it kept rebooting itself so i got my brother to have a look at it and it was all okay inside of it , dose anyone no wat kind of virus is in my iphone or anyway of fixing it ??
I have tried everything and still has no luck , when someone rings me it will ring in there phone but not come u on my phone that someone is ringing , and when i text someone it goes through to there phone but still comes up on my phone that it hasent sent :O !

Why am I not receiving all my texts?

I am receiving texts from some people but not everyone. I'm not receiving them from my husband who has an iphone through Sprint, but he receives all mine.
I'm also not receiving them from another person who has an iphone but has AT&T.
I've rebooted multiple times, deleted texts to clear up everything and still nothing. Help!

I, too, am having difficulty receiving text messages. Problem started back in Feb 2014. Messages arrive incomplete or broken up into 3 separate message packets. Spoke to VZW Tech Support at least 4 times with no solution. Finally got them to initiate a Repair Request Ticket.
Sounds like this is a common problem. A couple of questions come to mind. Would the issue of not receiving text messages be due to the lack of cell site coverage in my immediate area? or...could it be the current software version on my I-Phone. currently running Verizon Version 15.0.
Would like some help. Been a loyal Verizon customer 14 years.

Not recieving all of my mail

ive had this problem for a while now and still have no clue how to deal with it. i only recieve some of my emails, but certainly not all that people send me. im sooo tired about having all my friends asking me if i got their email!!! my setup is as follows: my mothers computer which is an imac with airport express and comcast, my g4 powerbook with the airport express, and also a PC with wireless internet. i think that the problem might be that the PC also has the same account that is on my laptop, would that have anything to do with this? any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

It is possible, though quite unlikely, that Comcast is filtering some or all of the 'missing mail' you refer to. As Allen is trying to point out to you, it is much more likely that you have configured your clients in such a way that you have created this problem of missing mail.
When a client like Mail, Outlook, VersaMail or any of dozens of others is configured to receive mail from a particular account, that account is generally configured as a POP3 account and requires you to specify if mail downloaded to that specific client is deleted from the server after you receive it, or left on the server. Many default to delete. If you do not change that setting, the mail you download from that account to that client on that specific machine will no longer reside on the server and be available for download with the other client, on the other machine.
If you intend to use mutiple machines - and therefore, multiple clients - to pick up your mail from a single account, you should opt where ever possible for IMAP, rather than POP3, account structures. IMAP allows you to effectively synchronize your mail between multiple clients. If you cannot do so or intend to stick with POP3, then all but one of the clients - or possibly all of them, depending upon your preference - should be configured to leave mail on the server so that it is available for other clients.
As Allen indicated, you should check these settings in each client, then adjust them accordingly.
You can test to determine if this is the problem by having someone send you a test message - message A - then picking it up with one client: Mail. After having done that, attempt to pick it up with the client on your PC. Depending upon what setting has been selected in Mail, that message will either not be available for pickup on the PC, or will be. Then have them send an additional test message - message B - and perform the steps in reverse: attempt to first pick it up on the PC, then moments later, using Mail. Again, you will see the result of the configuration setting - this time, on the PC client.

Workstation not recieveing all updates

I have a workstation that ONLY has Office 2010 installed, so when I push out the May updates I found the Office 2010 updates added them to the May update group (7 Office 2010 update) rolled them out and the workstation recieved 5 out of the 7 updates.
How I know after the workstation had to do a reboot I went to windows updates to mak sure all the updates were installed 2 showed up as not being installed when I know for a fact that they were selected and downloaded in the May update group.

Anything in the client logs that may give an indication on why specific updates aren't installed? Are they applicable in the first place?
The client logs (UpdatesDeployment, UpdatesHandler, UpdatesStore.log and WUAHandler.log) are located in the %windir%\CCM\logs folder.

People are not receiving all my texts and viceversa

I just changed this week to the Galaxy Nexus from a 3G phone. Before I had no problems with sending text messages and pictures through stock messages but with the new phone, several of my messages are not being received in the other side. It appears that it has been sent but they just do not arrive. Same with some messages and pictures they send me, some just do not reach my phone. I changed from stck sms (android default) to 3rd party (Handcent or something) still, i do not receive some messages... anyway, same problem. Is this a 4G problem? a Samsung problem? or a Google problem? Is being resolved?
Is worth to mention that the person I send most sms is on a Metro PCS blackberry, but still I had no problems with my android LG Ally before. Just after I changed to the Nexus. What is the problem here? how do I resolve it?

Stito85, thank you for your post. I certainly want to make sure we get your text messages working. I have not seen this issue as a known issue on the Nexus. Is this happening with different people? Are you using any special characters, graphics, signatures, etc in the messages that do not send? Try deleting your SMS thread with the number it is happening with mostly and try sending text messages again. If the issue is still occurring, we may need to submit a trouble ticket to our network team. In that case, we'll need the dates and times that the messages were sent and from which number so we can further investigate.

UNRELIABLE COMCAST EMAIL I'm not recieving all of my emails through Comcast

Comcast email has become unreliable. Two days ago, I needed a password reset from Proctor and Gamble. I've had this account for years. P&G's server automatically sends a password to my email. I never got it. I never got it six times. It's not in my spam folder, not in my trash folder. The emails never arrived. OK, so I thought it was P&G's glitch. Last night, I called my own Magic Jack phone number, left myself a message. ALL MJ messages are normally delivered to my Comcast email. NOPE! The message is not in my email. So, some messages get through, others vanish. UNRELIABLE COMCAST EMAIL

Not recieve all emails

I have one mac on 10.5.6 with entourage 2008 that is connected to exchange 2007 every now and then he does not receive emails
When he checks the owa the emails are there
The MAc is in a workgroup is this the problem or is there something else should I look at?
If it is a workgroup issue how do I join the mac to Windows 2003 domain I now this can be done I just forgot how

Go to Settings>Mail Contacts Calendars
Scroll down to Mail section and find Show. Selecting something different here may solve your problem. Mine says "50 Recent Messages". You may need more.

Not getting all texts on 650

i am a newbie and i apologize in advance for my ignorance.
i am now on my second treo 650. both have had the same problem. i am not getting all my texts from other verizon friends. on their phone it says it went though, but i never receive it. on my old phone i could take out my battery and then it would come through after the phone restarted, not so on my replacement. i am just not getting them. the sound on my sms is not working all the time either.
i am getting a little frustrated considering i pay for texts i am not getting and i never know i am not getting them until someone asks me why i didn't respond!
