I'm paying for BT Sport and dont understand why...

Yet again, problems with BT billing. Every time my contract is renewed I have a problem.
Nothing has changed with how I pay for BT. I have phone, pay line rental in advance, and have Infinity Option 2. My bb contract was renewed in June. This was arranged during a direct call from BT who said they were calling from Doncaster.
I've just checked my bills and for the past two months I've been charged £6.75 for BT Sport. At no point duriing the phone conversation was I informed about this charge. I cancelled the HD option in August because I DID expect to pay for that after the first 12 months.
If the £6.75 charge is correct, can someone please explain to me why I was never told either verbally or in writing that this charge would be made, and tell me how to cancel it.
Really fed up once again with BT.

Just happened to je today suddenly I sm being charged even though my contract is in firce till next May. I despair.

Paying for total broadband and normal landline

I'm not sure if I'm going thick, but I have bt total broadband with one number and a normal bt landline with another.....can I just have my total broadband without having the landline, which I never use. and therefore am I paying for a service I dont use!

no you need the landline to get broadband. the other number probably starting 05 is your broadband talk number and provides voip

The recommended solution for most families is to share the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases, so you can share your purchases, but us different IDs for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud. With this arrangement, each person can automatically download purchases made on the shared ID (by turning this feature on in Settings>iTunes & App Stores), while keeping their FaceTime calls, text messages and iCloud data (including photo stream) separated. There is no requirement that the ID you use for purchasing be the same as the ID you use for these other services.

And then to further add insult to injury, I'm prompted to enter in the license number of my product. I've gone through this process a dozen times now...SCREAM!!!

Paulou12 what type of a Creative Cloud Membership do you have? You can find details on how to update Lightroom using the Creative Cloud Desktop application at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
Finally if you are in a managed environment then please work with your I.T. department to apply the update.

You can use your iTunes Store balance to purchase from the Mac App Store, but not from the Apple Online Store.

Anyway, if your Mac meets the requirements you can skip 10.5.x, and even 10.6.x if you can afford to erase all your data.

Paying for line rental and broadband only

I have recently received my bill and want to stop using my landline phone and just use my Internet phone.
Is it possible to either;
cancel my call plan altogether
or;
just pay for line rental and broadband.

Which calling plan are you currently on ? The evenings & weekends one is effectively free anyway.
Also consider the type of calls you make. When I last checked, many international call, for example, were significantly cheaper using BBTalk, but most of the calls that I make were priced the same as for landline calls.
Have you considered a call-through service, such as 18185.co.uk ? (not a recommendation - just a suggestion)
