Settings/General/Reset/Erase all Contents and Settings
Then your brother can set it up as a new iPad.
If you do this, you will lose non-iTunes-purchased music, photos, documents, saved progression of games, saved settings on other apps, etc. unless they are backed up somewhere else such as on a computer or through iCloud. After all, you are erasing all content and settings. It won't affect your iCloud stuff such as apps and music you bought through iTunes; you can re-download all that through iTunes. You can also redownload iCloud mail from the iCloud server.

IPod and ipad won't let my apple Id be used for iMessage or face time

My iPod and my iPad last week decided to sign me out of FaceTime and iMessage after nearly a year of use, and just displayed the error message appeared that my apple Id or password had changed this made no sense so I went and changed my password no success. Next I tried rebooting both devices no change. Then I closed down all the apps and tried no change. Next I tried to sign in via settings this time I got the message that you need to verify your account and an email has been sent. No email recieved and so I still couldn't sign into iMessage or FaceTime. Next I tried signing in on my sisters iPod touch and it gave me the same error so I asked her to sign in on my devices and it allowed her. So i realised the issue is with my account is there a way of checking that my account can still be used for iMessage or a way of seeing if my account has a error or glitch, or should I create a new account.

I just bought an iPad mini on 24th June, previously I had just use the iPad 2,
when I bought my iPad in Sydney, the salesgirl said that the settings of iPad mini would be the same to iPad to but the difference would only be the size.
But after I bought the casing at another store I use it immediately but when I close my casing the screen didn't sleep. So when I open my settings I couldn't see anywhere the button iPad cover lock or unlock.

Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

My iPad mini has problem staying connect to my wifi after I connect. It seems like after a long period of non usage I have to connect o my wifi again where as my iPhone stays connected

Try #5.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

I belive that the trigger is being changed on the io board, but cannot manage to reset it.
The reset process takes in the order of 0.1 sec, and since this is a time critical application, i want to get the scanning function working again faster

Dear Ian. Thank you for your reply. The problem appears to be that the scan trigger(s) are stopped, or something, by the use of the AI_setup instruction. The sytstem works perfectly until this instruction is used. My problem is in understanding what has happened since the help seems to give no detail on any interconnection between the scan system and the external analog trigger system. My old emails address which I have used as my apple id for 10 years is being made redundant. I have changed the email address to a new gmail one and this is my new apple id. But my iMac has not recognised this. It keeps saying it wants the password for my old email address. I have seen some advice on these forums which suggest signing out of iCloud and then back in again. But when I start doing this it asks me if i want all the photos deleted that have not been downloaded onto the mac.
I have had an iCloud account for quite sometime and I'm afraid of losing everything in my cloud if i sign out and sign in with a new id.
Is this fear realistic?
I know I can change back to my old email, sign out and then sign in wight he new one...

This did not work for me. My old email account for iCloud still pops up on my screen every time I open my macbook. I've deleted it, reset it, every thing I can think of and it still shows up. I think six months of this is more than enough time to wait.

You can make the collages easily if you have iWork. Just open a letter sized page in landscape mode and drag the photos onto the page, rotate and postiion as necessary. Then do a Print ➙ PDF ➙ Save PDF to iPhoto to get a 200 dpi jpeg version of the Pages page into iPhoto. From there you can add it to your book and use a blank page with the option to have an image as the backbround.
If you have a 3rd party image editor that supports layers you can create the collage with it.
