I'm receiving a "blocked plug-in" message in Safari
A user in my group has recently upgraded to Mac OS 10.8.4. The user has recently started receiving the following message when logging into workamajig and a few other sites:
"Blocked plug-in"
And no access to the requested site.
I've tried updating Adobe Flash 6, turned off the the "Block all webpages from storing information on this computer" (default setting), and clearing all the cookies and history from Safari. In the past, when workamajig isn't working right, the solution is to clear the cache, but I can't find a ready way in Safari to do that, so I deleted the cookies.
I am using MacOS10.8.4 on my Mac and have been for 5 months and have access to workamjig. I've never received a message about blocked plug-in.
I'm on an iMac (Intel Core 2 Duo) and my co-worker is using a G5 Tower (QuadCore Intel Xeon).
I'm stumped at this point. There's probably something simple that I'm missing. "Reset Safari" maybe?

"Blocked plug-in message" problem on my OS X 10.6.8 (Safari's 5.1.10). Any solutions for a non-techie (step 3 on Adobe Flash's instructions leads to dead end, i.e. product for sale). Thank you.
Prior to updating flash player, you must first uninstall all previous versions. Make sure you are downloading from the proper Adobe website = Adobe Flash Player Software
Flash Player Uninstaller
Repair permissions and restart your computer after the installations. -

Blocked plug in message won't go away
I have installed the new version of flash player several times. I still get the blocked plug in message.
What OS X version, and
asking multiple times won't get you a faster answer or a different answer. Only post once, please. -

Why so I keep getting 'blocked-plug in' message! Very frustrating. Never happened before. related to Adobe Flash Player for videos. Have deleted Adobe and put the new Adobe on, but still get message. Seems others have had this same problem.

I am getting a blocked plug in message
I am getting a blocked plug in message. I am trying to install the latest flash player but get to a user and password box and don't know the password. How do I get or reset that password so I can download?
It is asking for system administrator username and password. Please approach your system administrator for getting the same.

I recently started getting "blocked plug-in" messages at various Websites and am told to download the latest version of Flash Player for my Mac 10.6.8. When I try to do that, I'm told it's already installed. But the "blocked" messages keep showing up as do the followup "go to Adobe and download the latest version ..." messages.
I'm stuck in a continuous loop, can't solve the problem, and can find nothing related to this in the forums. I finally removed what appears to be Flash Player from my hard drive, though I don't think I actually uninstalled it (if it's really installed). What's going on and how can I fix it?We're getting a lot of these complaints with this latest update...
I made a PDF with illustrated, detailed instructions over the weekend: Snow Leopard Clean Install.pdf

Mac OS X version 10.6.8. I keep getting "blocked plug-in" messages. Adobe Flash player update won't upload. Suggestions?
You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/909/cpsid_90906.html
and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications (including Safari) first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
After installing, reboot your Mac and relaunch Safari, then in Safari Preferences/Security enable ‘Allow Plugins’. If you are running 10.6.8 or later:
When you have installed the latest version of Flash, relaunch Safari and test.
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then in System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser, but check this also:
