I`m running windows 7 OS and just downloaded I tunes 11 and now I`ve got a conflict and error message.
I tunes was running great until I downloaded the newest version. I`m receiving error messages ,and the stinking thing won`t play.Anyone out there have a solution to this problem??
Will iTunes open in safe mode? Hold down CTRL+SHIFT as, or immediately after, you click the icon that starts iTunes and keep holding until you see this prompt.
Click Continue.
Assuming iTunes has opened, enable the menu bar, if necessary, with CTRL+B. Go to Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. Press OK, close iTunes, wait until it has had a chance to fully close then reopen.
Will iTunes open normally now?

I had this problem before. I like to disable extra services to speed up my computer and I disabled the Apple Mobile Device service and had to re-enable this.
You can do that by going Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services. Once you have gone to the services window, look for Apple Mobile Device and right-click. Select "Properties". There should be some information about the service as well as the label "Startup Type" with a drop-down menu beside it. If it says "disabled", that is your problem; Change the selection to anything except disabled (Automatic is easier and ensures that you can sync as soon as itunes opens).
If this doesn't work, I would look into your anti-virus' settings. Good Luck! -
I have a new hp tower running windows 8.1 and have been trying to install the adobe reader. The installer downloads (1meg) and I choose to run it but it just sits with an empty screen. I've checked task manager and it takes up memory but does nothing. After letting it run for 3-4 minutes I kill the task. What can I do to get the reader installed on this machine? I've tried using chrome, firefox and explorer and get the same results with each.

I am running Windows 7 (64bit) , and an error message appears following a recent update to iTunes v 11.1.2: "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. An unknown error occured (-3212). Make sure your network connection is active and try again." I have dug a little bit into possible problems but haven't found a solution yet, one note is that the network connection is OK. I am running windows xp. Trying to download latest version of iTunes and get error message: Microsoft Visual C Rundtime Library. Runtime Error. Program:C\ProgramFiles\iTunes\iTunes.exe. I am unable to access my LR5.7 Catalog of my recent holiday. I am running Windows 7 (64Bit) and recently installed and then uninstalled DxO Optics Pro. The error message says it "cannot be opened because another application already has it opened.Quit the other copy of Lightroom before trying to launch" The problem is, that I can only see one copy of LR5 open and cannot locate the ".lrcat.lock" file for the specific catalog I want to open. I have tried re-booting my computer, but this did not work.
Thanks Geoff. I was finally able to locate the ".lrcat.lock" file relevant to the catalog I want to open. Once I deleted it, LR5 was able to access my images. Problem solved. THANK YOU

Check for .dll files
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
2. If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
3. Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
1. Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
2. Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using theMicrosoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
3. Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

Ihave PS5 extended and run windows 7 when trying to download updates it tells me that the update failed and the reason it failed was that my serial is not valid

Thank you for the response. Typically this error is caused by installing an older verison of iTunes than you had prior. When you installed iTunes did you download the program directly from iTunes.com, or did you use an older copy of the program on your computer? If you used an older version or are unsure, uninstall all the components one more time and download a new copy of iTunes via the link below.

I recently just bought a Toshiba 3TB External Hard Drive. I am trying to partition it on my macbook, but it keeps returning and error message. The only thing I have changed is renamed easy drive.
Your problem is not Boot Camp, in fact, is your optical drive. Win XP requires indeed sp2, but also the internal drive, does not work from external optical drive.
For other possible tricks, please use the appropriate Boot Camp forum, not here. Mac OS X may be installed from both external and internal optical drive and/or internal/external partition of a disk, any disk. Windows is not so generous. -
Just downloaded newest itunes version. Now, it refuses to open, with error message, "This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the English version." Any thoughts?

can't reload Photoshop elements 7 on my windows 7 operating system. Everything goes well and it appears to be installing. All of the sudden the Installer starts to roll back everything and error message shows up saying I can't use this product at this time.
How do I do that? I'm the only user on the laptop - I kind of assumed I already was running the install as the admin.

I just upgraded my mac book to 10.6.8 and downloaded the new version of itunes. When I try to open it and error message appears saying, "The iTunes Library file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "Music" folder."
I have tried a few things but iTunes closes right after i click okay. Anyone know anything?Look in your Home > Music folder. There should be an iTunes folder there and it should have a number of files and folders including one called library.itl You want to guide iTunes to that file. If you don't see that file or folder then in your next post you will have to be very specific as to what you do see or how you have your iTunes set up because that's where it should be according to default settings.

I have design standard with creative cloud, I have installed this on 2 computers, my office and home which I was told was allowed, I have just tried to open an indesign file from the office at home and and error message said that this was created with a newer version? they are the same versions and both are up to date, I was asked this morning to put in my adobe id email and password to connect to CC which I have never been asked to do before, can anyone help?
