I'm setting up my exchange email on my ipad but i don't know what the server would be?
I'm setting up my exchange mail but im unsure of what to insert in the server box???
When running the installer, before you proceed through the install screens, go to the Utilities menu, then Disk Utility.
In DU, select the drive on the left, go to the Partition tab, name the drive, set the Format to "Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Click Options and make sure the scheme is GUID Partition Table. Click Partition to reformat the drive.
Then close DU and proceed through the install screens. You should find the drive now appears when you get to the appropriate screen.

There is no password to Thunderbird. The password you need is to the email account. Contact the email provider for password reset.

i had nokia n8 and now i want to transfer my contacts from nokia to my new i phone 5, i set up i tune and i cloud account but i don't know how to use do it. i have windows 7 and no outlook
If I wiped my phone I wouldn't have the contacts on my phone to send to my self. I would need to take just the contacts from my back up. I would have to do this through iTunes and I don't see how I can just extract the contacts only from my back up. From what I can figure out it is all or nothing

THe iTunes gift code is an optional field, you don't have to fill it in - gift cards are an alternative method of paying for iTunes content, but as they are not available inall countries (and they are country-specific, they can only be used in the country in which they were issued), you may not be able to fill it in anyway. If they are available in your country then you might be able to buy cards from Apple, supermarkets, electrical stores etc

When I start my MacBook Air, I get a problem report on the Time Capsule 802.11n. When I click Continue, it asks for a password. I don't know what the password is because I didn't set this up. How can I find out what the password is?

It won't let me download music off my phone till I answer my security questions but I forgot them. I tried resetting them but the email is sending to an email that isn't mine. I don't know what to do.
The email address that shows for the reset link will be the rescue email address that you put on your account. If you don't have access to that email account (you won't be able to change the rescue emai address until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

I'm trying to set up another email account through my iphone. This email uses Microsoft Exchange. I put in the email, username, and password. It is now asking for a 'server'. I'm not sure what it is or where to find it. Please help!

Sorry, but you are describing many different problems all in one go. Have you changed your FaceBook account and the passwords for all your email accounts ?
You say you have changed all the passwords for all the accounts you use, including your Apple/iTunes account if you have one. If this hasn't done the trick I suggest you restore your iPad to factory conditions, set it up again from scratch, and download the things you've paid for again. You will not need to pay for things bought through your iTunes account again. -
My email is though the college where I work. We use Outlook, and I am trying to set up my email but I am not sure what to use for my incoming and outgoing host information.
Ask your college. Most likely the same settings as you have set in Outlook.

I am trying to download Skype to my ipod (my friend gave me his old ipod touch, which is about 1-2 years old, according to the year 2014) And when I tried to install it, it said that I have to agree to the terms of use. So I go onto my computer and review the terms of use there on my email. I could NOT find the "agree" button. Please, can someone help me?
The button would be on your iPod version of Skype, not the computer version. They are not the same.

Help. I just got a new iPad 2 and set up sync with iCloud and no password. Now asking for a password and I never set one up. What password does it want: iTunes, iPhone (no real password there either). Tried as many passwords as I could think with the iPad locking me out since I don't have the password! Would like to use the iPad but can't get on to try it.

For some reason it's not letting me set my e-mail account in to my iPad keeps coming up I've got the wrong setting or something similar don't know where I'm going wrong

All I have is the email from Apple informing me about the change to my account, but without any specifics. And my daughter doesn't know what they are So I went and created a "new" account using all my original information, even keeping my password the same, but I'm still considered a "new" account and my ITunes Match can't be accessed, nor can I see any of my past purchases.
To change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

My email app cannot load content in Microsoft Exchange. The account shows set up properly, but it keeps trying to load. It can be accessed in Safari no issue. Any ideas?
