Okay I was debating weather or not to just get $99 back (I bought the 8GB at very end of May), or swap it out with the 3GS with a 10% restocking fee.
I'm SO glad I did. Now I have double the memory at 16GB, and it runs so much faster. My favorite thing of all has to be the 3MP camera, the 3G 1MP camera was "so so"
I'm syncing all of my backup stuff
(p.s. I'm glad I didn't return my 3G last week, only to wait a week w/o a phone so that I could pre-order the 3GS... my AT&T store had a crapload and I walked in 10 minutes after they opened)

Did you really have to think long about it? I gave it about ten seconds.
Apple didn't charge me a restocking fee, but AT&T -- ever looking for a way to gouge their customers -- did charge an $18 reactivation fee. I bought my 3G on May 11. Loved it -- until I heard about the 3GS. Then I found out that Apple would exchange it.
Thank you Apple!! Everything went smoothly at the Apple store this morning, and the new 3GS synced perfectly as soon as I got home and connected it to my iBook. Even the icons were in the same place.
Love the voice controls and the compass. Haven't tried the new video cam yet. Double the capacity. No question that I would swap phones rather than take the $99.

If you selected open a new Apple ID account, go back a step and enter use existing Apple ID.
You will have to set up a separate iCloud account or your iPads will mirror each other.

Recently I logout from App Store and immediately I logged .after that I clicked the FaceTime and it is asking for signin.so I entered the credentials and clicked on signin .at that I got one pop up like rupees 5 deducted from your carrier account

My tower for my dell computer died.got one from a friend with an existing itunes account. now I am unable to access my library and playlists, but can get to previous ownwer's.I downloaded itunes again using my apple id but was unsuccessful.HELP PLEASE!

From what I understand is that the device will show up in iTunes but it will not allow you to synchronize media over to the device even after you reset the device. When you say you reset the device, do you mean you restored the device in iTunes? What error message you are getting when attempting to synchronize media?

I don't know EG01 transaction, but if SAP says "material 5 does not exist " then SAP is usually right.
Can you give an evidence that material 5 exists? e.g. screenshot from SE16 at table MARA, MARC and MAST

Got one error while activating data in dso

I am loading some data to SAP given dso 0figl_o02. while doing so i got one error with following description
Error short text : "Value "CONVERSION REVERSAL " from characteristic 0DOC_HD_TXT contains an error at position 20"
Long text : "Characters that have a hexadecimal format between HEX00 and HEX1F are not permitted in characteristic values. The 20th character is one of these characters. The value is therefore not permitted.
I dont know how to find out exactly which record has this wrong data. I checket in PSA for this record with error its not showing any of such records.
Please suggest some soluion

Hi Sudeep,
First you need to get the values from characteristic 0DOC_HD_TXT that contains an error.
Therefore, go to the ODS/DSO contents tab through RSA1(manage) and select the first option LOGS and then you will be able to select log for Activation and then execute it.
You will no get several requests, select your relevant request which will be in red and then select Application Log at the botton of the screen, then you will be displayed with another screen there you check the date of activation is correct or not becoz by default today's date will be there.
Then you will get the log for it --> double click on the problem class which is in red for it and you will get the value for the 0DOC_HD_TXT where it has special char.
Then go to PSA select all data packets and number of records (give full number of the records transfered) and then enter. It might take sometime if you have huge data. Once you get the records then filter on the 0DOC_HD_TXT column and then give the value you copied from the log.
Then you can edit the special char (remove) or if you want that to be displayed then paste the same spl. char in RSKC and execute.
Activate it again.

The same thing happened to me. I purchased the Trilogy but it only downloaded the first movie.
Also i looked at my accounts "purchased items list" and it didn't show that i purchased anything.
When i went back to the store to look at the trilogy order page, it didn't say that i purchased it.
It just had the "buy" button.
I will wait a few days to see if i get an email from the iTunes store to see if Apple finds out that
they made a mistake. If i don't get an email, i will have to email iTunes support to see if it can
get this problem fixed.

If you have one of the public-domain books provided by Project Gutenberg (these are books published many years ago and which have therefore fallen out of copyright, such as the Dickens and Jane Austin books), you should be able to open it using Calibre:

or one of the other applications that can open ePub format. Launch the app and point it to the book file, which will be in your iTunes folder, in iTunes Music (Media) -> Books.

Updates:
I found why the original backup file is not showing on iTunes. Becuase it is corrupted.
All other folders contains Infor.plist, Manifest.mbdb, Manifest.plist and Status plist files.
But the folder that contains origianal backup files does not have those files above.
I think the only way I can restore the data is using third party extracting software.
Do you know anything about that kind of software?

When a virus infects a Windows PC one of the first things it does is mine the PC's e-mail address book. It will then send out e-mails containing itself to addresses in the address book using another address from the address book as the sending address.
The only way you can tell where the e-mail comes from is to look at the long headers. In Mac Mail View>Message>Long Headers.
So it probably wasn't sent from your Mac but from a PC who has both your addresses in his mail .

GetTimezoneOffset got one hour ahead on linux than windows

I'm using Date object to retrieve current local time for
display. But got one hour ahead than the system time.
For an example, I set the system time zone to Hong Kong,
China. The getTimezoneOffset() return -540 on linux, but on
Windows, it's -480. So, the time in flash is one hour ahead than
the system time.
I have checked that the getUTCHours() return the same result
on linux and windows.
Any Suggestions?

FP 9 on Linux shows time one hour ahead than the local time.
Try following line with FP9 on Linux
trace("Current Time "+new Date());
