I'm trying to back up y iPhone to my iMac, but iPhotos is saying that there are no photos to be imported.
After my iPhone told me I didn't have enough storage on my iPhone, I decided to back it up onto my iMac. The first time, I believe I did it totally wrong so I deleted the user account I backed my phone up on. After making a new user account on my iMad, I backed my phone up once more. My music successfully transferred from my phone to my iTunes account, but when I opened iPhoto to try to import my photos there then delete them from my phone, it said there were no recent pictures or videos to be imported...When I clearly have 87 Photos on my phone.
Can anyone help?

Did you connect your iPad to your computer then open the application on your computer that transfers photos from a camera? Your computer should recognize the iPad as a camera. All photos in the Camera Roll on the iPad should then be seen and you should be able to copy them to the computer using that application.
Photos that were synced to your iPad by connecting to your syncing computer cannot be copied back this way as the master file for those photos are on the syncing computer. -
I can't transfer my photos to my PC -it says that there are no photos available to download (I have over 2000 photos on my iphone).
I have followed all the Apple steps in order to trasnfer to your PC but my computer is not rexognizing that there are any photos on my phone.

Connect the iOS device to the computer.
Choose Start > Computer.
Double-click the logo for the device to browse its camera folders.
Navigate to [iOS device]\Internal Storage\DCIM\100APPLE.
Manually copy the content in this folder to your computer, wherever you would like to store it.
Disconnect your device. Open the Camera Roll and manually delete all the pictures from the iPhone Camera Roll that you just imported.

i have just downloaded a new version of Iphone software on my iphone 3 . but i'm facing problem in configuring it . also tried to configure it with itunes but it always says that there's no sim card in your phone and previously i was using same sim without any problem . need solution . kindly help .

Toggle Airplane mode On and Off.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Restore the iPhone.

If you're getting a network connection timeout error when downloading the iPhone's iOS update, then try temporarily turning off your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed.

I just got an iPod 4th generation and Im trying to sync my iTunes songs and books from my dell laptop on to my iPod but it says I need iTunes 10.6.3. So I tryed to download it on the apple website but it keeps saying that there is an error. I have already tryed uninstalling all Apple Inc. programs on my laptop then trying to install iTunes again but that has had no success what so ever. I have started to get very frusterated with this . Hopefully someone can help. I would really appreciate it. Any suggestion?

The "streaming" that iTunes Match does is not the traditional streaming we are used to. iOS 6 actually downloads the song to non-permanent memory on the iOS device in a cache. The advantage of this is it then makes the tracks available for listening to again without having to stream it again. You can clear out the cache by either power cycling the device or disabling/enabling iTM. I prefer doing the former.

Don't know. Could be any number of reasons. Re-read the how to install RAM manual again for your model iMac. Double & triple check to make sure you purchased the right RAM chips. Make sure they are seated properly. If you didn't hear a snap when seated, the RAM is not properly seated.

DBHMove the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on File, and choose Transfer Purchases. If you need to authorize the computer, the command is in the Store menu.

I tried researching it online, and I think that my computer might be too old to get new software updated on it - I bought it either in 2007 or 2008. I just think that it seems unfair that I have to buy a whole new computer just to put my music and other things on my new iPhone. What should I do? I can't even buy the software update for Mountain Lion because it requires you to already have a 10.6 and I only have a 10.5.8. This is the most frustrating thing ever!

I had this problem too, and this answer to a similar question on the forum about an ipod or ipad fixed it for me:
"You have to unlock your iPad before you can transfer photos off it otherwise anyone could connect your iPad to a computer and see all the photos you have taken on it." -
My phone is still under warranty but the service center said that it is voided due to the missing pins inside the lightning connector. What do i do with this? Well, your service is handled by an Authorized Apple Service Center. If they refuse to handle the claim, that is well within their rights. Apple as well could void a claim under the same circumstances. I'm not saying that you did or did not modify the device, but you could try and talk to a supervisor there and make another request.
