I'm trying to buy a ringtone.....
Hello friends,
I'm trying to buy a ringtone but everytime I click on 'Create Ringtone' I get this error message: "Itunes cannot connect with iTunes Store. An unknown error has occured."
I don't understand this message because I can buy songs from the iTunes Store without any problems. Further I'm sure that the settings are correct (activate ringtones within Preferences (Tab General).
Can anyone please help me out with this issue because I would really like to have an other ringtone on my iPhone besides the boaring default ringtones.

I'm guessing that you're not in the US. If that is indeed the case, you will not be able purchase ringtones from the iTunes Store at this time. Ringtones have not been licensed to Apple for sale anywhere but in the US as of yet.
If you are indeed in the US, please post back with the version of iTunes you're using.

How do i change my security questions?
Did you do the Super Duper clone before you tried to reinstall the OS? If so, the original install disc is likely earlier than 10.4.11, and that may be why you are getting the message.
When trying to reinstall the OS, did you select the "Archive and Install" option? If not, you might try that. Here's a link that might help:

Hi there, I am using a Macbook pro with Leopard with the newest version of iTunes. Many, many times when I have tried to purchase the newest episode of LOST, I click 'purchase' and type in my information and click 'yes', and for an instant it says 'purchasing' and shows the striped purchasing par across the top for only an instant, and then that disappears and an error message comes up, saying
"The item you tried to buy is no longer available.
The availability of the item changed while you were using the store.
The same item may be available with a different price or elsewhere
on the store."
In past weeks, I have been eventually able to purchase the episode, after trying to purchase and receiving the same error literally hundreds of times. Why do I try hundreds of times? Because I want to see LOST! And I will have to face the wrath of my disappointed housemates if I fail to present the episode in time. But this is very, very, very, very frustrating! Please help, iTunes! Or anyone, any help will be greatly appreciated. But this glitch has been going on literally for weeks/months! I expected it to be ironed out and fixed completely by now, but it is not at all, it is just as bad as it was when I first noticed it shortly after the beginning of LOST season 4, a few months ago.
Also, when I try to email iTunes, I am sure that I can email iTunes if I finally pick a subject that does not apply, but I do not want to do that.
It is also very, very, very frustrating, whenever trying to email iTunes, to be forced into picking a subject from a very, very limited menu. Many questions, such as this question, do not fit at all into any of the choices presented, from which a person is forced to choose a subject, before being allowed to type an email to iTunes.
I look forward to any help anyone can give regarding this error message, so that I will be able to purchase the new LOST episode from iTunes. Thanks for your help!I had the same issue this morning downloading a pre-order of Alanis, Flavors of Entanglement . I noticed that the only thing that had changed fro me was that I had some song credits for purchasing ticketmaster tickets over the past few weeks. When I went ahead and spent my remaining credits... it downloaded with no prompting or trouble. Maybe the credits issues hangs it up?

The credit card security code is a unique three or four digit number printed on the front (American Express) or back (Visa/MasterCard) of your card. -
Problems with iTunes/ipad2 I'm trying to buy FREE apps and I'm being told my card is declined but I also have more then enough credit on my account! Anyone having this problem?
Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps). -
I got a new iPhone and i am trying to buy songs but when I go to buy a song on iTunes it says I have to answer my security questions and I don't remember the answers. I pressed where it says for them to email you your answers but I haven't gotten an email. Is there another way to change or get the answers for the security questions?
If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I'm trying to buy more storage on my iPad but when I get to the "buy" button, it has my old Apple ID and I can't go any farther. I've changed my Apple ID on all my devices, logged out, logged back in, rebooted, etc., but that one area still has old one.
You can't buy more storage on an iPad. You are referring to space on iCloud and that probably won't accomplish what you are trying to do.

I have checked the available countries which contained Guam I live in.
So I continued to order the product and filled up my address but it appear as an error.
How can I solve this problem?
I was finding ways to contact apple but I can not even make calls to apple support since the call making to America appear as "International Call".
And I've been finding e-mail support thing for online store but the chatting service won't let me go through because it says I am not in US and also, there are no such thing as e-mail support so I write this on community help.
Please find me solution for this.

If you didn't establish a rescue email address, you will need to call applecare support. Ask for account security to reset your security questions. After the advisor is able to verify your identity, they can reset your security questions.

Are you buying from the correct Print Products Store? If you are using the wrong store, your AppleID may not be valid.
Is the Print Products Store set correctly in iPhoto Preferences > Advanced? It should be set to the same country as your billing address and delivery address, and match the settings of the Apple ID you are using.
And you are using iPhoto '09 or '11, right? you can no longer buy books from earlier versions.
When you reenter your settings as LarryHN described, don't forget to enable Express Checkout. It is required. -

Trying to buy a game, but it keeps asking for billing info.
Hello, I recently tried to buy Napoleon: Total War, but cannot. I have enough money and my apple ID is valid but something is wrong. Every time I click on the buy button under the app, it asks me for my billing info, as per usual. Then it brings me to a screen with my billing info and everything is OK (yes, I selected no credit card). After I click 'OK' to the billing, it asks me if I would like to continue with my purchase, so I click 'buy', then the process repeats itself. It asks for my password, the billing info, and so on and so forth.
This was never happened before and is extremely frustrating. Not only is the app expensive but I can't even download it!
Please help.How much credit do you have in your account? How much does the game cost? Is this in the US store? US store prices do not include local sales taxes. If you do not have enough in your account's balance to cover both the cost of the game and the local sales taxes that are added to the sale in the final steps of the purchase, the system will ask for a credit card to cover the remaining balance due on the sale.
