Was the iTunes card issued in the same country as your account is based (they are only valid in their country of issue) ? I am having a lot of trouble with trying to use my debit card on purchase of itune apps or music. Whenever i put my card information in it tells me that this card is invalid. But there is no way that my card is invalid because i just got it last week. A debit card is linked to a bank account, that is what is being debited. When I've received new or replacement bank cards in the past I've occasionally had to ring a number at the bank so as to activate the card.

I believe if you haven't already setup an itunes account, if you have access to computer with iTunes installed , you can create an iTunes account on that computer with no credit/debit card and then just buy iTunes cards at your local retailer to get credits.

I replaced my old debit card with a new one. I tried to update my debit card number information. I'm pretty sure I put everything right but it showed that my credit card information does not match my bank's records. The bank has already verified my card is activated.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click “iTunes Store” in the left navigation pane. Click the “down arrow” next to your name at the top right side of the page and click “Account.” Enter your username and password and click “View Account” to log into your account information. Next to your Payment Type, click “Edit.” Select the “None” button and click “Done.” Confirm that your card has been removed by returning to the Apple account information screen. I am going NUTS trying to delete my credit card info! I cannot stand it when I try updating one of my apps (especially when they're FREE apps) & am NOT ALLOWED to do so if I have a ZERO balance on my card! I have followed directions given to me but it still does NOT work. HELP!!

Once you set up your Apple ID you must have a valid form of payment. If you want to delete your credit card info purchase a low cost iTunes gift card and use that as your form of payment. Then you can delete your credit card.

I had the same error when trying to update my apps on my ipod touch. I tried to input my security code numerous times to no avail. I also made sure my billing address was the same as what my bank had on file. To fix the issue I went into iTunes, logged onto the iTunes store, went to account settings and reviewed my recent purchases. Turned out that I had made a recent purchase and didn't have enough money left on my credit card to pay for it at the time. I paid off the credit card, and then input my security code once more and now it works fine. I've heard that some debit or pay as you go credit cards require a minimum balance, so make sure you have at least that amount in your account.

I can't log into my iTunes account on my iPhone 5s. I logged out a few days ago to trouble shoot because I was trying to redeem some iTunes cards but when i pressed redeem nothing happened. I then tried to log back in immediately afterwards. I was unable to do so. After clicking "sign in" at the bottom of the apps main page, it brought up another menu where I clicked "Choose existing Apple ID". After pressing this the menu disappeared and nothing happened. I tried this multiple times and received the same result each time. I tried the other available option of creating a new AP ID to log in with and that one worked perfectly fine. I am clueless as to why the log in for me is either not able to load or just completely blocking me from getting back into my iTunes account on my phone. Not only can I not listen to the music I currently have, but I cannot log in to purchase the new music that I wanted to with my unused iTunes gift cards

I think the problem lays with Last.fm. I had the same exact problem as you. In your processes screen, end the task "lastfmhelper.exe" Last.fm still scrobbles. The tracks don't skip, although I notice there is still a bit of a lag in the first part of the song - but if you can deal with that, no skipping. I think you will have to end that task everytime you boot up your computer, or uninstall last.fm completely until they fix it; it is a bug in their software, as opposed to iTunes.
