I'm trying to download InDesign CS6 when I noticed the upgrade said Windows. I have a Mac. Is this a problem?

Sorry I can't help but I do get the same error. Previous versions of iTunes on Win XP machine ran fine. I have uninstalled, rebooted, and tried a new install but still get the same error. I can access the directory via Windows Explorer so not sure why the error says it can't access the directory.

Im trying to download InDesign CS6 and Illustrator CS6

I'm trying to download InDesign and Illustrator CS6 and it comes up with an error message and it says to try again or contact support. I have tried again and it still comes up with the same message. Next to the end of the sentence is "(416)" on the InDesign oner and "(-55)" on the Illustrator. I am on a school internet, does that have anything to do with it. Please help.

The download assistant say tha the file size is 879mb, but so far the file that has been down loaded is over 1.5g and does not show any signs of installing. Any ideas?

Please follow the steps below to download Indesign CS6 without using the download manager :
1. Navigate to Indesign CS6 downloads page : http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=indesign
2. Sign in with your Adobe ID.
3. Copy and paste the following links on the address bar one at a time and hit enter :

4. Save both the files.

Note : The size of the .7z file is 879 MB and that of the .exe file is 1.2 MB.
There is no space in the '.exe' above, I tried removing it but while posting the message the space comes in by default. So while pasting the link if there's space between ex and e remove it manually.

It has downloaded into your download folder. Find it in your downloads and click on it to install itunes.

Firefox will suddenly not open when I click the icon, even though I have used Firefox on this computer for several months with no issues.

I am not sure why your Firefox stopped working all of a sudden. I would recommend uninstalling and then re-installing Firefox.
1) Get new download: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
2) Uninstall your current Firefox version.
3) Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
4) It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

I tried to download FireFox and when I hit the second run to start it an error message appeared stating the file could not be extracted why?

I did the download for FireFox and when the download was complete a screen appeared asking me to run the program. I clicked on run but at 14% it said file could not be extracted error message. I don't understand why this happened and what do I do now?

Don't try to run the program directly when downloading with IE, but save the Firefox installer to the desktop and start the installation with a double click on the desktop icon.

How do I stop Firefox 31.0 from closing down when I close the only tab that I have previously opened. This has not happened before and is infuriating.

As far as I am aware this problem started with the upgrade to Firefox 31.0. If I open Firefox and look at a website and then close that website, then Firefox closes down. The same thing also happens whenever I close the last of a number of websites that I have previously opened. Previously, I could close the last website looked at and the process did not close down Firefox, merely left me with my Homepage.

sometimes the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
And if it doesn't work still after that, as much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
