I'm trying to download some purchased TV shows to my iPad Air. I keep getting the dreaded Download Error Tap to Retry Message. I've signed out of iTunes and back in. I've updated my software. I have plenty of room for them on the Air. We are taking a long flight this week, and I wanted to have something new to watch. I've read through lots of threads on this but I can't seem to find a good solution that I haven't tried.
If I can get them to download them on my iMac computer, can I then transfer them to my iPad? How is this done? (Please pardon an older lady's ignorance, and thank you for any assistance!)

I try to download a movie I rented and I get a "download error. tap to retry" message. When I tap to retry, after a few minutes, I get the same message again!

Can I have an Australian account and UK account in itunes and still access on same pc/iphone? I live in both countires for part of the year.

I currently have a UK based account but I am in Australia for about half of the year (have both UK and Aussie based bank accounts) is it possible to have iTunes accounts in both contires. Especially as there are loads of songs on the iTunes Australia that just aren't on the UK iTunes.

The issue is that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside so you will have to change your credit card credentials each time you switch stores.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

I think you are trying to install a computer application to use on an iPad. You can't. They are incompatible pieces of hardware. If you want Family Tree Maker for your iPad, then you need to get that version, if it exists, from the iTunes Store. That download can't be done via Safari.

Itunes download error tap to retry - iphone 5s

When downloading a song from itunes on my iphone I got the download error tap to retry. I tried restarting the iphone, signing out of itunes and restarting but still got the same error, but I can download new songs fine. So I connected the iphone to itunes on my PC, which downloaded the song and sync'd it to my iphone fine. However, now I have the song on my iphone, but it is also still stuck in downloads on the iphone even after syncing it with my pc?

After installing ios5, itunes randomly opens up on my desktop on my laptop computer. Not just when I start my computer but when I'm on it. itunes just opens. I've searched settings in itunes and my desktop and don't know where to go to stop this from happening. itunes will just open. While it is clearly the wifi syncing that is causing it, the device almost never shows up in the device list, and I've already unchecked that box. Please do a forum search. I and others have repeatedly answered this question a whole bunch of times recently.
Bottom line: the Adobe auto updater is utterly useless in CS5 and prior versions. You need to download the updates and apply them manually yourself.
I and others have even supplied the links for Mac and Win, which you haven't even bothered to specify.

Problem downloading some purchased items

So I am trying to re download my some of my purchases form icloud. When I click the icloud icon next to the song it says error "There were problems downloading some purchased items. For more information on the items that could not be downloaded please check the connection to the network is active and try again... any suggestions? I am fully connected to the internet etc.

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking on Check for Update in your device's Summary page in iTunes.
Check and verify that you are in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you are on a 3G capable device, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to 3G, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Check to make sure you have an active internet connection. You can check the User Guide for your device for help with connecting to the internet.
Check to make sure other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router
If the issue persists, see troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections.
Note: All iPhone, and iPod touch models support 802.11b/g Wi-Fi networks. In addition, iPhone 4, and iPod touch (4th generation) support 802.11n Wi-Fi networks (2.4 GHz only).

I imagine a ton of people are attempting to activate after the update, and the server is getting overloaded. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.
