I'm trying to download the newest version of CC programs on my computer but somehow get older versions
I'm trying to download the newest version of for instance Illustrator (october 2014, including Creative Cloud Libraries, Lady with Sunglasses version) on my computer, but somehow I still get the older version (no libraries, Lion version). What do I do wrong? I tried a new download of Creative Cloud, removed all the Apps and tried a new Illustrator... still the 'old' version.
I'm using an iMac with the newest OS X Yosemite. I tried to reinstall Creative Cloud, removed all the programs. But I still get the 'old' 2014 version with the Lionhead, not the Sunglasses (october 2014) with interactive libraries. I use Adobe iPad apps, for instance Adobe Brush, Adobe Shape and Adobe Color and it's so great to have all the things you make with these apps in your Illustrator & Photoshop libraries. Somehow it worked om my laptop, but not om my home computer.

I tried to download the newest version of itunes but then it says that it couldn't since it couldn't locate the APPDATA, I even went to the point of downloading the itunes all over again, but it still hasn't done anything to help. Anyone have any ideas to try or any solutions?
This is probably due to a corrupt setting for %APPDATA% in the registry.

I'm trying to download the newest version of I tunes because I just got the I phone 5c..it wont download because I have to have I tunes 10.6.8 but it wont let me download that either because I need I tunes 10.6 to get it and I can't find that download anywhere..I need to get the book for school on my I pad or phone by tomorrow...what do I do?

The iPhone 5c needs iTunes 11.1, which requires Mac OS X 10.6.8. See if your Mac can be upgraded to Mac OS X Snow Leopard > http://support.apple.com/kb/sp575 If so, buy Mac OS X Snow Leopard > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
Then, make a backup of your data with Time Machine or Disk Utility's Restore, insert the disc and follow its steps to upgrade to Mac OS X Snow Leopard. i have been trying to download the newest itunes to my windows 7 computer wit the last 2 wks now... im at the stage where iv tried everting from uninstalling itunes to installing it again... can someone please help before i throw the computer out the window!
Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -
I have an ipod touch. I am trying to download the newest upgrade and when I do I get the same message that to do so will mean all my old inof (songs, games, apps) will be erased!? Anyone else experience this problem?
If all the synced media (such as app and music) or in your iTunes library, and if you have a backup. Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check, the restore the iPod from that backup. The restore will also update the iPod.

Like a fool I tried to download the new software for my 3GS. Now oI can't get the dam thing activated. I'm in Portugal but my phone originates from the UK. Help.
I actually interpreted this as a carrier lock issue. If that is the case the OP needs to contact the UK carrier who owns the rights to lock the iPhone. Only that carrier can unlock it.
Was the iPhone unlocked by means of jailbreak software? If that is the case, then the reply from Phil McCafrey would apply to this as well. -

I am trying to backup my apps and I've already authorized my computer, but it's giving me the error that I need to authorize my computer even though I already have.
I am having a similiar problem. I did not ever have the problem with Lion and my 4gen iPad.
I allowed the Mavericks update just about the same time that AppleCare put a new Motherboard in this computer, so I don't know if either of those has anything to do with this or not? (4 year old MBP 17 dual i7)
But now when I reboot my MBP, it tells me that this computer is not authorized to play, sync, etc.. with my iPod (or iPhone) and asks me for my password. With I enter it, I get a message that says "This computer is already authorized". I have 4 Apple ID's and it asks me to enter that information for every single one and then tells me that the computer is already authorized.
How can I enter this ONCE and make it stick?

Ive been trying to download itunes 10.7 and i keep getting a message whilst downloading saying 'There is a problem with this windows installer package. a program required for this install to complete could not be run contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:

I am getting very confused with emails from your forum. I started receiving 60-70 emails from forum support each day and from all different subject lines than my original question. The above was not my original question either. Most refer to different issues and different operation systems than mine. My original question was "Is updated Adobe 10.2.159.1 and FF4 compatible?"
Is Pat handling my problem now? Why am I receiving all of these emails from him with different subject lines?
The last few request I received from you were to go to Tools,Help,get version #. I replied there was no help button in tools menu. I looked everywhere I could think, sent you what I could find, but, now I don't think my reply was correct. I did not look for the Kill-bit Key email from Pat because he was replying to someone else and copying me. I am sorry, but, I think I may have deleted his instructions on how to do it, because I did not realize he was asking me also. Again, the subject was different than my question.
I am so sorry for being so stupid about computers, but, all I ever had to use them for was work and personal. Internet browsing was mainly used to play Pogo and Facebook and occasionally check out a web-site.
I have not been able to go into the registry and find a log from Malware System. I see Malware progam listed, went into each file, the only thing I can find is licensing files and such. I cannot find a log of my scan.
I didn't follow your request to go to web address, install Malware & update yet until I hear back. I told you sometime last week that I had installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, per an email from your Forum support. I ran a full scan and found email worm and followed their instructions to quarantine. Should it be deleted instead? If so, sorry again, but, you will have to tell me how. I had always quarantined per my programs instruction. Found the following about email worm:

My version of Malwarebytes is version1.50.1.1100. Is this old? Should I go to web site and download again?
Sorry for such long replies and unending questions. But I would like to know for sure, who is handling my original question now? With 60-70 emails each day, it is hard to keep up with each request and I am afraid since subject line is mostly Updated Flashplayer won't download.
