I'm trying to find a song in the iTunes Store which I know should be there and it finds nothing. What is wrong?

How do you search and find a song in the iTunes Store? I can no longer do that.

Searching for Content
If you know what you're looking for, you can type a search term in the Search Store field, which appears in the upper-right corner of iTunes. Press Enter or Return to search.
You will see the results for your search. You can filter your search results by TV Shows, Albums, Songs, iPhone Apps, iPad Apps, Movies, Books, Audiobooks, Music Videos, Podcasts, and iTunes U content.
I just tested the search and it worked here.

TS1717 when trying to listen to songs in the itunes store my system keeps rebuffering, what is this and how can i stop this

When trying to listen or buy music from the itunes stores my system keeps rebuffering so this enables me to even download music because it keeps shutting off and coming back off this is a problem and would like to know how to fix it?

The only things I've done differently are I started using VoiceOver Utility and Pocket Cloud.

It doesn't appear to be available on the iTunes Store, at least not in the U.S. You can make a request to iTunes. However, making a request doesn't mean that iTunes will be able to offer it. It all depends on what the rights holders wish to do.

Connect your phone to iTunes, then right-click on the name of your phone on the left sidebar and select Reset Warnings. Then sync again and you should get a warning listing the problem files.

The problem is from all the 9 songs I've paid for, only 7 are still available from this list on my iPhone. There is no possibility to download the other 2 without paying for them. 1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

I haven't kept records of the songs I have paid for, and a number of songs have recently been displaying this message, making me search my computer for them. Most I have been able to find, but this one immediately "disappeared" the moment I attempted to play it after downloading...... how do I either get it back or get my money back???

How did you do this move? Unless you know what you are doing you have to move the whole, complete iTunes folder.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

There are missing songs in the iTunes store. Is Apple aware of any of this?

I was trying to buy a few songs from the iTunes store, namely from Classified and Maestro Fresh Wes. A few days ago, the entire catalogue from both artists were there. A few days later, some songs were missing, despite the fact that they have the albums showing. Is Apple aware of this, due to a expired contract with the record labels or what's going on?

Apple doesn't announce such things, so we have no way of knowing. Perhaps the tracks were defective, or perhaps the record company had to pull them for some reason. If you've purchased the applicable album and came up missing tracks that should have been included, go here:

I recently downloaded an album (a gift) from Amazon, one option of which is to download directly to my iTunes library (which is what I did). I also purchased a song from the iTunes store shortly after this. In both cases, the music shows up on my iPod touch in a lighter print than the other music on my iPod. When I select it nothing happens. I only plug into the computer a couple of times a month, but I perform all updates as are indicated and I synch my iPod. Note that when I have iTunes up on my computer, the music WILL play directly from the library, just not on the iPod. Any ideas? Thanks.

How can I disassociate my songs in the iTunes store from another musician with the same name?

My songs in the iTunes store are showing up with the artist John Powers. That is my name. There seems to be another musician called John Powers, and our songs seem to be grouped together. I feel bad for the guy, as he seems quite clean-cut and my songs are all a bit... edgy. Is there any way to clarify that there is another artist also called John Powers, or will my songs forever be linked to his through our common name?
