I'm trying to get rid of the subject line in my SMS, but I can't seem to find the "show subject line" option in my SMS/MMS Settings. How do I go with this?

I can't even find the group messaging option. The only two options I have are subject count and blocked. Can someone please help me, I really find this subject line irritating.

Go to Settings > General > About and see what iOS version you are running. If it is lower than 5, you won't find the software update button. It was added when iOS 5 came out. The current iOS is 5.1.1. To update to the current OS, you'll need to connect to the computer you sync with (this is important - do not connect to a computer you do not sync with as you will lose you apps) and update the software in iTunes. Once you have updated to the 5.1.1, the software update button will be in Settings going forward. Make sure you have a lot of time. Updating from below 5 to 5 or higher is a somewhat lengthy process.

Turn off iCloud completely

Hi Mike, make sure the card has Mac ROM, or is a PC card with Mac ROMs flashed to it...

If you're not sure where some of the content you see in iTunes is stored, iTunes will also show you what it knows about your media in the Get Info window.
Select an item in iTunes and choose File > Get Info.
You can right-click on the 'Where' to get the option to Show in Finder (Mac OS X) or Show in Windows Explorer (Windows).

Where are you downloading the app from?
The only one I can find is for iOS based devices > Blockbuster On Demand for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

I'm still on XP on this older PC, this all started because of this stupid bing toolbar that has infecting many computers, and I started unistalling a few programs that looked like they didn't belong, I ended up getting rid of the bing but now I have a much bigger problem, I still have my adobe flash player of course, all the sudden when I go to a site like wiziwig.tv to stream baseball games it just doesn't work. I tried system restore to a previous date but that wiped out all my bookmarks and everything. I just think there is some file or program I need as I've been streaming shows at sights like watchseries.ch until today. If that bing toolbar hadn't came out of nowhere I'd be watching right now!

How do I get rid of the Windows partition? I went to the disk utility and selected my hard drive but all the partition options are grayed out. Similarly, when I select the NTFS partition, I cannot erase it.
I want to merge the partitions, create one single partition. I do not care if all the information is lost, only that my hard drive is unified and clean again. How do I do this?

have you looked inside your Applications/Utilities Folder for an app named 'BootCamp Assistant' ?
If there, consider yourself lucky
Don't run it yet, since it won't work with your current date and time.
Follow the instructions here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1309?viewlocale=en_US to completely remove the BootCamp Windows partition and reassign the used diskspace back to OSX.
If you don't find the BootCamp Assistant in the Utilities folder, you have to boot from your OSX Tiger DVD to repartition your harddisk to one OSX volume and then reinstall Tiger and/or restore your OSX from a backup.

Now Firefox often crashes while in use and/or I must force quit. I finally went to the Help menu on the Firefox menu bar and saw this message: 'Resume Downloading Firefox 3.6.4...' When I click on the message I get a new 'Software Update' window with this info: 'Paused downloading Firefox 3.6.4' (stuck); a 'Details' link (dead); and 'Connecting to the update server...' (never connects). Sorry, I couldn't figure out what the 'Firefox location bar' was and so can't get report IDs, though a while ago I stopped reporting the problems. I want to update Firefox without losing any of my stored settings/info. PS I just saw my 'installed plugins' list. 'Displays PDF documents in the browser' is listed but doesn't work; 'iPhoto6' listed, but I run iPhoto '08 (7.1.5). I'm not sophisticated enough to recognize the other plug-ins. Thanks!

I don't know if there are better solutions, and I don't know if what I'm going to write is real also in mac OS: in windows and linux you personal settings (bookmarks, history, plugins, etc...) are stored in your home directory and not in firefox installation directory. So what about to uninstall your current version, download the new one from firefox web site and install it? In my opinion all your data remain untouched.
A better solution may be download the new version and install it without removing the previous one, the installer should overwrite outdated files ;)

Apple does not support downgrading to a previous iOS.
You might first try a reboot:
press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple icon is displayed, then let go.
If it doesn't help, try
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settiings.
