In that case it sounds like your DVDs have a physical problem or your DVD drive has an issue reading the DVD,
I would suggest you try making DMG inages of your DVDs, save them to your Mac and try installing from the disk images instead... (Disk Utility reads the DVDs in a slightly different way that can help get around certain physical issues)

I am running Acrobat X Pro on Windows 7 in Parallels. I have tried to install the Acrobat updates, but they won't install. Today I tried to create a pdf from a Word 2013 document and it crapped out. I tried to uninstall Acrobat and got Error 1310. Error writing to file: c:\Config.Msi\feea.rbf. What do I do?

Problems installing Parallels Desktop 3.0
1. I was told I needed to install Parallels Desktop in order to access windows without rebooting via boot camp.
2. I have tried to install version 3.0 and have not been able to launch it following a "successful" installation.
3. So any suggestions on how I actually make this a successful installation?The directions said to:
1. install, which I did, no problems.
2. Start Parallels Desktop to activate and update. When I attempted to open Parallels, I got a failure to launch. Tried to relaunch - nadda. So I un-installed and reinstalled. Same problem.
3. So I haven't been able to get to installing Windows.

i am trying to install itunes 10.5 but I get an error message that says "click ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package iTunes.msi..." I try to point iTunes to the .msi file on my c drive but then it gives me a message says "the file location is not a valid installation packaage for the product iTuness. Try to find the installation package 'itunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install iTunes". Any help, insight, guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

CS3 is unsupported under Windows 8. That said, you'll need to contact Adobe

Sometimes the App Store version doesn't work correctly. In this case, install 10.8.4 with the Combo version > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1659?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
The Combo installer is the safest way to update OS X, and it allows you to update more than one computer with a single download
