If you have already subscribed to Creative Cloud as a student/teacher, it may be too late for you to get the current promotional discounted student/teacher EDU price of $19.99. You'll have to keep paying the regular EDU $29.99 price until your contract is up or else if you cancel it you pay the remainder that's left on the contract but it won't be cost-effective. I already asked customer service to see if they could waive the cancellation fee so that I could get the current EDU price. I was denied and offered one free month, but I asked the Creative Cloud technician to escalate it. So, it's up in the air right now. I believe they are getting many students calling to inquire about this. You would think that student/teacher prices are set once established, so if $19.99 is the lowest actual student/teacher EDU rate, then what is the $29.99 rate that the rest of us student/teacher EDU subscribers of Creative Cloud are paying?
If you establish a student/teacher EDU rate, you could keep it that way and make it available to all students. Especially the ones who signed up first! Why is Adobe rewarding the laggards?

I know 5 is registered here on the site. It was a digital copy. I looked at my old laptop. (3 years old or so.) and noticed 5 on there. I can still use it. Some how my CS6 just up and quit working. Which I thought was funny considering I bought it the same way I bought my CS5. I am working on two comic series of my own that are going to be published as E-books and physical books and need some advice.
I am left without Illustrator to use and I was right in the middle of working on all my character concept art to get trademarked.
( I can't afford the 357 upgrade to "re-open:" CS6 so I am left without anything to work on. All of my Illustrator files are also JPEG so i can view them all, but I was in the middle of new artwork when my CS6 decided to become a trial and I got locked out once the "Trial Period" ended.
I am a legally blind Cartoonist and Comic Artist and these series are my first real big projects that are getting published. I really don't want to have this process stopped for any longer than it has been. It's been almost a month since I was able to draw. (I can draw on paper, but with my eyesight Adobe Creative suite is perfect for me and causes less strain on my eyes.) It's my preferred platform to work on as far as drawing.

FOUND MY PROBLEM (or half of it.)
I went into my computer and then program files.
I found that EVERY SINGLE TIME I click any of the Adobe Applications that say (64 Bit) they give me that error message I showed you in an above post.
STEP 2:
I clicked Adobe in program files.
STEP 3:
I can SUCCESSFULLY open any of my Adobe Apps that are not (64 bit)
It turns out all of my desktop shortcuts of my adobe apps were all coincidentally 64 bit ones that don't work.
SO- in conclusion I think I have partly solved my problem.
I replaced all of my app shortcuts with the normal program files and NOT the 64 bit ones. BUT- I am worried....aren't the 64 bit versions of ANY apps you buy important?
I do feel worried since my WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL is a 64 bit OS. This would effect my programs correct?
Feel free to use my story to help you solve other customers' stories. I would like my problem looked into, but I am only half as stressed now. -

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite C2 and have been using it for years on the same computer without any problems with using it. Recently upon opening Photoshop I received a pop up window saying due to Adobe Software security we need you to activate your CS2 software. I tried, phone activation, web activation, nothing is working. I have the serial number and my Adobe account information. Any suggestions?

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5 and Premiere Pro CS5 in late 2010 and I use the applications on a daily basis, until now. About a month ago I decided to create an adobe account and log in since it asks me every time, after i logged in the applications worked for about a day or two but on the third day i was getting an error that said trial expired on every CS5 application i opened except for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 Adobe Bridge CS5 and Adobe Onlocation CS5, I no-longer have the original boxes with the serial numbers due to the fact that I moved about a year ago and the boxes with the serial numbers must have been accidentally thrown away (trust me i have spent hours looking for them, i opened every box i have). What can i do to get my products working again? To repurchase all of the products it will cost thousands of dollars that i don't have.

I am trying to install Adobe Creative Suite CS2 and I am at the last stage of installation but the pop up window is asking that I insert CD #2 but, of course, there is no cd! I tried clicking okay and double clicking the image for CD #2 or file #2 but nothing works - Help!

I am retired. In my active years, I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Standard and Dreamweaver CS5 for my Windows environment. I recently spent a fortune to migrate to Apple. I now (and a bite late) realize that my licenses are not recognized by Adobe. I am desperate. I cannot afford the expense of buying or paying access to the software and, still, I need the tools for all those little things I do for enjoyment. What can be done?
The licenses are operating system specific, so one option would be to retain use of the Windows machine you had before the Mac.
If you want to try to use the older stuff on your new Mac you can try installing Windows emulation software such as Bootcamp. -

I purchased adobe creative suite design premium as a student and was supposed to be able to download it onto one more computer if needed and now because my other laptop has crashed I still need to use the software on my new laptop. the files load and I get the read only files but it won't set up like the original installation. What kind of company doesn't have customer phone representative service on software we pay big money for?
Since you say you are having a problem with files not downloading properly, below is an alternate site where you can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it. If you are not able to find your version, if you identify it then a more direct link might be available.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

No, CS2 does not qualify for a platform swap. Only the most recent version (CS6) qualifies.

Hi, I purchased the Adobe Creative Suite 6 on my student pricing for $399. I only had a PC at the time so i've purchased a disk drive PC version. As a student in the Graphic Design industry I've been urged to become a Mac user, thus I now own a Macbook, but cannot use my Adobe programs. Is there someway I can change the license for the PC suite to Mac? It's quite expensive, and a waste of $400 to keep in on a PC I don't use.
