I'm trying to re-activate my software because of "repair" issues and don't know what to put for "request code"
I'm trying to re-activate my software because of "repair" issues. I have had it for 6 years and when I logged in today, it suddenly said that I needed to re-activate within 5 days. It won't allow me to do it online due to an error so it said that I needed to call and activate, but then when I called it said to go online to adobe/go/activate, which I did and have entered my serial number, but it also wants a request code and I don't know what to put there. Please help???
The request code is something that PS generates when you ask it to do the Phone activation, right? Isn't there a choice on PS when you try to activate that is to not do it online and to use a phone call and there is also a button to press to generate a request code. I don't have any way to try this myself, anymore, but I seem to remember something like that happening long ago.

There is no password to Thunderbird. The password you need is to the email account. Contact the email provider for password reset.

If you can open Safari go to the top of your screen, click Safari / Preferences then select the General stab. You can type in the web address for your Home page there. -
I can't sign out of iCloud on my iPhone 4 because I have the locator turned on for my phone and don't know the old password for my old Apple ID. I've tried all of the suggestions seen on here and the Apple ID site and cannot delete the cloud. Help?

As the article you attached says, "Within iTunes, select the device, then select the Photos pane and turn off syncing."
In other words, once you click on the device in iTunes on your computer (with the iPhone attached), you then click "Photos" near the top and uncheck the "sync photos" box.
Then you sync your device by clicking something in the lower right (it probably says "Apply", but it might say "Sync"). -

It sounds like you are having trouble installing the iOS 8 update. I would start by restarting your iPhone:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
If you are still unable to update the phone, you can also update it with iTunes on your computer:

The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have. -
Had message on my iphone 4 this morning that I needed to plug it into itunes. Did this but could only get a blank screen with apple symbol on it. Tried to do a system restore but keep getting the message that it couldn't finish restoring
Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message. -

My Iphone 5c is not being recognized by my Mac computer. I have done all of the upates, restarted several times and I'm not sure what else to do. I have searched and searched and searched and have come up with nothing. Also, my Iphoto can not be updated. I'm still using version 8. something, and it won't update without this update and that update. It needs 9.0 but I can't find that download anywhere. The only one that I can find is 9.1. That won't update. Is there anything that I can do, or should I just bite it and take it to apple to get looked at?
Does iTunes not see the phone?
If not, make sure you're running the current version of iTunes.

As for iPhoto, you will have to purchase a newer version. It's not a free upgrade. Or, you can use Image Capture, which is built into OS X, to import the photos. -
TD Ameritrade's Tech Support said that Firefox 4.0 will not work with their Command Center. Keep getting an error message "additional plugins required" but nobody knows what it needs. Firefox 3.6 and all the earlier versions worked just fine (better than Safari). I tried to update my iTunes software on my iPhone today and plugged it into my laptop. Before the process was complete, I received an error message saying I had to "restore" my iPhone before it would work with iTunes. Even more importantly, and troublesome, is the fact that now my phone won't even work at all. I can't turn the iPhone on, and all the screen shows is the iTunes icon with a picture of the white power cord. Can someone advise if there is a way to update the software without restoring my iPhone, which will cause me to lose everything on the phone (much of which I have not backed up yet)? Last, is my stuff already backed up by iCloud? I believe I have sellected that option on my phone, but honestly, have never really understood what iCloud is or does. Thanks in advance for any assistance/advice.
