i'm trying to redeem a gift card, then select create an account and set up an account for my child and it's saying the child is too young. i've already set up an email for child. help...

According to Apple to create an iTunes account the person must be 13 yrs or older or older. Read here > iTUNES STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Unfortunately, you can't delete an account.
Have you already redeemed the gift card using that account? If so, the account balance cannot be transferred.

It's been a while but it should work on a Mac because Macs can read Windows formatted devices. Otherwise, you can perform a restore operation to return it to the Mac format. If you go to support.apple.com/manuals/ you can find a copy of the user manual for the model you have in which this is all explained.

Why do I keep getting an account has been disabled message when trying to redeem a gift card? Have gone back through account settings and don't see any problems with the account. I have both mine and my daughter's account under mine.

Getting session has timed out while trying to redeem a gift card. have had no problem in the past. am running a g4 since 2002 with os 10.4 and itunes 9. have no internet problems and can connect to store ok. so far apple no help keeps blaming it on othrs

Everything same on computer, OS, and internet connection. have been able to redeem other cards. this time am getting "SESSION HAS TIMED OUT" while trying to redeem card. have contacted apple and checked out all their suggestion iE:( must be your connection. typed in code wrong, too old version of itunes, etc) anything but why would a gift card code bee tied to a specific vetrsion of ITUNES. Is that Interface dragged to the top of Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON?
The Interface that connects to the Internet, needs to be drug to the top of System Preferences>Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON.
If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.

I redeemed a gift card on to my daughters Itunes account however everything she downloaded came off my credit card. I have now marked this as NONE expecting this resolve the situation, however now when she tries to buy music or apps it won't let her. I have done a lot of restores to the Iphone, and resets also.
I;ve done holding both buttons as you sugested, but there is no signal appearing.
I am in Uruguay, South America and the original company is Movistar ( Telefonica) and the new sim card is from ANTEL ( the officail and biggest company in my country).
I don;t knoe what todo.
I have been trying for more than one mont.
I have gone several times to both companies. Aldo two times to Apple uruguay, and nobody can help me.

Just installed the latest itunes. I am trying to redeem a itunes gift card and keep getting error 1202. Does anyone know why?

I am trying to redeem a gift card. I type in the code, and when I hit redeem, nothing happens - it freezes; I can't even close it out. What can I do to get the money to my account?
