I'm trying to remove paragraph rules from paragraphs in an InDesign document, but cannot because it (incorrectly) says they're already turned off

So, basically what a title says. I'm working on a document for my employer in which some of the formatting is already in place. As part of that formatting, InDesign is adding horizontal rules after every paragraph, and there are some paragraphs for which this would not be appropriate, particularly bulleted lists, so I'm attempting to remove them. Problem is, when I select the paragraphs and pull up the Paragraph Rules dialog, it claims that the horizontal rules area already turned off, and that I therefore cannot remove them. Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix it?

Have you checked that the paragraph rule is not "Rule Below"? Rule above is switched off, but Rule below may well be on. Select it in the popup shown in your screenshot.

Although all of the scenarios may be applicable, many folks find that the following section helps resolve their issue most often:
Authorize using the correct account name
The items you're trying to play might have been purchased using a different iTunes Store account. To determine which account was used to purchase an item, follow these steps:
Select a purchased song in your library and choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab. Note the Account Name that appears in the list. This is the account name (Apple ID) you'll need to use when authorizing your computer to play this purchase.
Note: The account name that appears is the one you used when purchasing the item and does not change if the account name (Apple ID) changes.
If you've authorized the Apple ID that is shown in the Summary tab, you can check the purchase history for that Apple ID from Store > View My Account. If your purchase history does not reflect the purchase of the items in your iTunes library, consider any other Apple ID you may have created, and authorize the computer for your additional Apple ID.
If you forgot the password to one of your accounts, you can recover it using Apple's password-recovery website.

You don't. the ipad is not a backup/storage device. it simply mirrors the selected content of your computer. The sync is one way - computer to ipad. The only exception is itunes purchases.
Did you fail to maintain a backup copy of your computer?
If so, not good.
You may be able to purchase a third party program, not supported by Apple, to get the other music.

Trying to remove credit card from daughters itunes account. I erase the billing information and click continue but it will not allow me to exit and save without putting some kind of billing information.There is no "None" option for me to select. What can I do?

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

I tried to remove a role from one of my 2012R2 DC's and now I basically can't do anything to that DC. Attempting pretty much anything on it tells me that it can't do it because it needs a reboot, and a reboot fixes nothing. The role I wanted
to delete is removed (print services), but I can't re-add it, or change any other role or feature. There is a 'pending.xml' file, and it is rather large. I can't delete, or rename the 'pending.xml' file, as it is owned by 'TrustedInstaller'. This
is the FSMO DC and there are some other services on it that I would rather not have to re-install and reconfigure. I've looked for other things that could prohibit installs and more, but there are no 'Pending Renames' in the registry.
At least getting server manager to stop complaining would be a good start.

Just a confirmation, did you mean that had un-install
print services successfully? No error occurred? Please check relevant log file (such as event log file and so on) if find some errors. In addition, I noticed that you attempt to re-install the role. Did you get any error message when failed to re-install?
Did you use Install-WindowsFeature PowerShell command to install? Any difference?

5. Release Home button.

6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
