I'm trying to transfer a license to a new computer

I'm trying to transfer a license of Acrobat Pro 7 on a Windows XP computer to a Windows 7 computer. I've deactivated the license on the old computer and I've activated it on the new computer.
However, every time that Acrobat runs it once again says that it's noticed a change and needs to activated (again). Shortly thereafter it receives a generic error and quits.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have NOT used this, so do not know if it works with Acrobat... but, as far as I know, it is free from Microsoft
IF you have Win7 64bit PRO or higher
Virtual XP is, of course, designed for ANY old 32bit program, not just the EXAMPLE program discussed at this link... so if you have an old 32bit program that won't work with Win7 64bit PRO or higher, it is free to try this to see if it solves your problem

Adobe After Effects CS6 - how to uninstall/reinstall or transfer license to a new computer

My old computer has crashed, and so I built a new one recently. I have been installing all the applications for it, downloading files, so on and so forth. I recently insterted one of the hardrives from my old computer, and was able to see the files I had from my old computer. All of my adobe applications are on there, and I can see them, however; I cannot use them, which is okay, since most of them were free applications that I could download from the website. But Adobe After Effects CS6, which is the application I really need, does not open it; instead, it reads: "Configuration Error: Please uninstall and reinstall the product. Error: 16". I bought the CD for After Effects last summer, but I cannot find it anywhere. I heard you don't need the CD to transfer the license to a new computer, but I can't figure out how to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, since after building my computer, I have absolutely no funds nor interest to buy another After Effects CD.

You must have the activation number provided when you purchased your CS6 product. If you don't, find proof of purchase (a receipt or credit card statement) and call Adobe Support.

It's possible to transfer licenses but it must be done by contacting a Customer Service representative by phone or web chat. They'll probably have you submit a form.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is oen way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purhases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Certainly after losing everything once, you started doing the basics and have a backup copy.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( twice), then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone: Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Make sure that you have your computer authorized to your itunes account.

2 Macbooks and an Ipad were stolen from my house. When i was out of the house, I had my phone with me.
I always backed everything/synced to my computer AND to icloud.
Now we have a new computer and Ipad and you are telling me I would need to email my 1,600 pictures from my iphone photo albums to myself and reload them to my new computer?
You have got to be kidding me? I also do not understand how I saved all of my albums to my ipad & on the computer and synced to BOTH the computer AND icloud, but those albums are lost, because they were not on my camera roll?
1. I need another solution to getting my photos from my iphone to my imac.
2. How do i recover those albums that were saved to icloud, but I can only "see" the camera roll on icloud.
I know they are there somewhere - here is why:
When I first got my (new) Ipad and had downloaded (what i thought was everything) from icloud, I opened up my photos to show someone a picture that night and low and behold the names of several of my albums were in the photo app, but the pictures were all jumbled up. Almost like it was trying to search and organize, but it just wasn't done...... Example - dog album had pictures of leaves or people, not the dog.
The next day I opened the Ipad & went to photos, no albums, just photo stream, camera roll. Only the pictures that had been taken when we first got the (old) Ipad.
Can anyone provide assistance??

Want to transfer songs and pics to new computer without old one

My old computer, somethings really wrong with the drivers, and it doesn't recognize my ipod or any usb device (we have given up trying to fix it, we've tried like everything, including reinstalling windows, therefore deleting all of my songs and itunes and everything. But the problem persists, and I can't even charge my ipod because its not recognized.)
So I bought a new laptop, and I want to transfer the songs to my new computer. Is that possible without using my old computer? and how do I do it? All the songs that I want to transfer are already on my ipod (at least I think that are, i can still listen to all of my songs on my ipod if I charge it with someone else's computer...and none of them are from the itunes store). What steps do I need to take to transfer them and is there a risk of all of my songs being deleted for some reason during transfer?
Help me please! and if you can't help me, is there any way I could email a tech support person who could?

The transfer of content from other sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Finally, If your iPod is set to update automatically you need to take care connecting to an empty iTunes. You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes 7 installed hold down the Control and Alt keys (or Shift + Ctrl keys in older versions). This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default. You do not need/want to transfer. Just install it like you did originally. If you need a download link try the following one:

You are allowed to have two activated installations, so if you would like to retain a backup installation you can keep it on the old machine. If you would rather disable/remove it from the old machine then you should be sure to deactivate it first (open any program and choose Help -> Deactivate)
