    Did you try the solution given, and if yes, did it work?
    I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.
    I am happy to suspend AV and FW software, but would like to know if it is a good fix or not first?

    Same for me with Iphone 5 and IOS 7 on mac pro. Install ITunes 11.1 and after reboot nothing work. Work only with Mac Pro in safe mode.

    Try closing all open applications in multitasking and power cycling the device.  Once this is done test the results.  If the issue persists, I have included a couple troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through.

    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
    Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
    Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
    Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.

    I understand that you are getting a 404 message when you access a website from a Mac, not a PC.
    First check the cache for the site:
    Reload the webpage while bypassing the cache using '''one''' of the following steps:
    *Hold down the ''Shift'' key and click the ''Reload'' button with a left click.
    OR
    *Press ''Command'' + ''Shift'' + ''R'' (Mac)
    Second try to [[Delete cookies to remove the information websites have stored on your computer]]
    Let us know if this solves the issues you are having.

    I had the same problem.  Try this: Open the iTunes app.  On the bottom menu bar, go to Downloads. There will be at least one item in downloads. Swipe horizontally across the item to get the delete button, then tap Delete.

    This is driving me crazy. The player resets mid song, whenever it's connected or disconnected to any device (i.e. car, desktop, dock) and proceeds to begin playing my entire music library in alphabetical order. That 1st song is getting pretty annoying. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there any fix? I haven't found any settings or preferences for this so I'm a bit stumped and very frustrated.

    Yes, I'm having that same problem.  I had the same problem in iOS 6, but could get around it by starting the song I wanted before connecting the phone - annoying to have to do, but at least it worked.  In iOS 7, it appeared to be fixed, but since updating to 7.02 that no longer works.  In fact, not only does it play the first song (yes, it's getting VERY annoying), but when I then choose the song I want, the first song it STILL displayed on my car radio.
    To make it worse, the Music app insists on keeping Repeat All turned ON.  If I disable it, the next time I connect there's that first song and Repeat All turned on again.
    So frustrated that I just don't listen to music on my phone anymore in the car.  I should also mention that displaying the wrong song info has never happened before 7.02, but whether or not that was the cause I don't know.

    You need to restore the phone (that is, iOS), not the backup. Those instructions have always been ambiguous. After iOS restores you should get the unlocked message, and you can then restore the backup (it should prompt you to). And you need to wait "long enough" after you got the instructions; it can take several days.

    Particularly:
    Check USB connections
    If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
    Common errors: 13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response”, and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
    To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
    Use another USB cable.
    Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
    Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
    Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
    Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
    If you see your error after changing your USB connections, continue to the next section to troubleshoot your hardware.

  • Whenver i save any contact in iPhone 6 it disappears after a few hours. How to resolve this issue?

    I have tried saving contacts in my brand new iPhone 6, but the contacts seems to diappear after a few hours. I tried shutting down my phone and even backing up contacts on iCloud but the problem ceases to exist. I have also tried saving the same contact several times on the device, but is vanishes again and again. It's getting on my nerves.
    Can someone help me with that ?

    Since the iPhone 4 and 4S are so mechanically similar, it might be a problem that can be fixed by the same fix I discovered for my iPhone 4S.  I was having the exact same issue and, after researching it on the web, took my out-of-warranty iPhone to the Apple Store where it was repaired in 20 minutes at total cost of $6 (including tax).  Apple has designed a shim that slips into the volume control assembly.  I posted about it on my blog, here:

    How did you go about restarting the Apple Mobile Device Service? Also, when you uninstalled iTunes did you uninstall all of its components as well?
    Make sure you're using a rear-facing USB port and also temporarily disable any security software.

  • I get error 194:3 and I do not see any instructions on website to resolve this error

    I am running a Windows 8 machine and I had installed Adobe Professional 8.0. I kept having to say "deactivate later" to use the program each time I opened it. I got tired of this, so I deactivated the program and uninstalled it. I reinstalled it and tried to activate it, and it came back and said I would need to call to get . Now there is no longer any phone support. The phone said to go to the website. There is no instruction in how to resolve error "194:3". Now I have uninstalled a program I need, from frustration, and now is no longer functional to me because I cant get past the activation page. Could somebody please tell me how to resolve this issue.

    I am running Windows 8 and I am trying to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1. It was installed for several years on this machine with only one issue - it kept wanting me to register the product, but when I tried it failed. I was tired of message so I deactivated it, uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it. I sucessfully reinstalled the program, provided the code that goes with the disk. I opened the program and it wanted to be activated. I clicked on the "activate now" button and it took a bit for it to process. It came back and said that I needed to call to get a phone authorization, which I did and below is the screen shot I got.  As you probably know, there is no longer any phone support, and a phone message directed me to the activation website adobe.com/go/activate. I looked for my problem both by topic and error code (194:3) and it is not listed. I don't have a problem, per se, I just needed a phone authorization, which no longer exists. And I apologize for my convoluted explanation above - it was not clear.
