I'm using dw cs5.5 when I go to save nothing happens, what can I do to fix this?
I have my site manager set to upload on save. I used to get a dialog box when i saved asking about related files and for some unknown reason I checked the do not show box How do I get this back?
Go to DW Preferences (Edit > Preferences on Windows, Ctrl + U shortcut; or Dreamweaver > Preferences on Mac, Cmd + U shortcut) > Site panel (as shown in screenshot below:
The first couple of checkboxes manage the 'Dependant Files' put and get options. Enable the checkbox to receive a prompt.

Ever since I updated to the latest Firefox 3.6.12 a several weeks ago I began to have this problem. Under 'Options' and 'Start Up' I have highlighted - when Firefox starts " Show my Windows & Tabs from last time". My settings have never changed since this last update to the latest version so I don't know why I am experiencing this problem. I will say that I did recently do a Windows Reinstall on my computer (Window XP - SP3) but this didn't start to become a problem until the latest Firefox update a week or two later so I doubt this may have something to do with the problem.
After looking on the forums for solutions to this problem I came across one thread, which said that this can be a problem with the file sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder and then said what to do to find and delete these type of existing files. Well, I followed the instructions on how to do so and yet Firefox still doesn't always save my Tabs upon computer shutdown. I'd say 2 out of 3 times I do a restart or shutdown it saves my Tabs but 1 out of 3, it does not. By the way, I thought I'd also mention that this exact problem is happening on two of my computers both running Version 3.6.12.
So what gives?...could it be problems with the latest Version 3.6.12 causing this since that's when this problem started occurring? What else can I do to troubleshoot and finally fix this? ...it has become very frustrating since I keep a lot of open tabs before closing Firefox and never know when it's not gonna save!!!Make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

You will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad/iPod into Recovery Mode

I am using a Mac and when I save my files as a jpeg, the files become much smaller, and consequently darker and blurrier. What can I do to fix this? I have tried to figure out how to chat with someone at Adobe, but they certainly don't make it easy to do. At the moment, this program is useless to me. Very depressing....

When I clear my history, Firefox clears my browsing and download history even though this checkbox is not checked. It didn't use to do this. What can I do to fix this? I believe the problem started with the last Firefox update.
Do you mean the "Form autocomplete" feature?

These "Share" files are accessed and used by the Create Disc app.
Create Disc is buried in the FCP X package.
Applications>FCP X>Show Package Contents>Contents>Plugins>Compressor>Compressor Kit.bundle>Show Package Contents>Embedded Apps>Create Disc
I'm wondering if having the Compressor Application on a Mac makes a difference to having just FCP X on a Mac and the use of the Sharing feature.
I have Compressor loaded and find that DVD and Bluray burns from Share without any glitches as some are experiencing.

I installed Yosemite and now my computer is slow when logging in. Also when I type my password, a bar appears measuring the process and then all of a sudden the screen images are distorted. After that my home screen appears and everything seems normal. What can I do to fix this?

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Ok earlier today I was at work on break and I usually use this time to check emails,iChat messages ,etc. when I tried to turn my MacBook Pro I hear the sound as if it' is gonna turn on....but my screen is still black mind you the battery is fully charged.....why is that and what can I do to fix this problem......I LOVE MY MACBOOK PRO and I'm upset because of the issue. If you've activated FileVault, only the users that were authorized to unlock the startup volume will appear in the pre-startup authentication dialog. Once the system has started up, all users will appear in the login dialog.
To authorize more users after the volume has been encrypted, select the FileVault tab in the Security & Privacy preference pane. Click the lock icon in the lower left corner and authenticate to unlock the settings, if necessary. Click Enable Users...
You should only enable users whom you trust implicitly with all data on the system, not just their own data. -

If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.

My FaceTime won't connect. Every time I try to call my friend it says connecting. Then unable to connect. Or lost connection. And when I go to our FaceTime history it said "FaceTime answered on another device." What can I do to fix this problem? We always used to FaceTime. And now all of the suddenly we can't.
