As of Firefox 3.0.* and newer the earliest that Firefox ran on was Windows 2000.
The KernalEX may be able to work on your WinME in patching it so it can run some programs like it was Win200/WinXP though the newest you may be able to run will be the Firefox 3.6.* (3.6.20 is current).

I am trying to transfer my itunes songs that were purchased using a previous apple id and windows pc ( I now have a macbook pro). When I try and download the itunes files, a message appears telling me that 7 songs purchased under the old apple id cannot be added to itunes on my macbook( the rest are added ok). I know the previous apple id, but have forgotten the password. When I try and retrieve the password using the security questions, I am asked for my birthdate. When I enter my birthdate, I am told this information is incorrect! Thats as far as i can go!

If you upgraded to Snow Leopard, then it would seem that Suitcase 11 is not compatible with Snow Leopard and you'd need to buy Suitcase Fusion 3 for $99.95.

Using Firefox 3.6.20 and Windows XP Home SP3. Firefox sporatically deletes bookmarks from the bookmarks toolbar. Additionally, when I try to import from a saved HTML file, Firefox does not import the complete file. Results are inconsistent.
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I have already assigned photos from iPhoto to folders in Pictures on the Mac using the instructions from Adobe. How do i now move more recent photos from iPhoto without duplication and import into Lightroom?
If the images are in the location you want them be sure to select "Add" at the top of the import dialog box.

Hi, I've been using the 3D function in PS, upgraded to CC2104 and it was disabled (need more VRAM). I then reinstalled CS6 and was able to use it for a day and now, today, I am getting the same message I got with PS CC2014 saying my VRAM is too low again. I'm in the middle of a project that needs to go live tomorrow. HELP!!! Please.
Photoshop requires 512 Meg of VRAM or more to use the 3D features - that's been the same for version 14 (CC) and now 15 (CC 2014). Check Help->System Info to see how much your card says it has.

The first thing you might try is resetting the Crop Tool by right clicking on the crop icon in the tool options bar and choosing Reset Tool.
If that doesn't work then the next thing is to reset the photoshop elements 2 settings file by holding down
the Shift+Ctrl+Alt keys just after clicking or double clicking on the pse 2 shortcut.
Keep holding the keys until a dialog appears ask if you want to delete the photoshop elements settings file
and click yes in the dialog. -

External HDD formatting for use in Mac OS X and Windows
I've been gifted with WD (My Passport) 1TB External HDD. On the box it says it requires reformatting for use in Mac OS X.
I used the earlier discussions. I couldn't decipher the steps details as it was mostly by level 4 above.
Can any honourable member advice me on how to reformat my new external HDD for use in Mac OS X and Windows (As in office and during meetings I might haveto use wwindows system)
Also if done with formatting will this be allowing to setup Time Machine back ups.
Please be sure that I want to use time machine exclusively for backup, some earlier discussions mention that TM can also be used for OS booting etc.,
I would be greatful to all who will help me in these regardNormally the drives are formated as exFAT which could be used by both a Mac and a PC out of the box. Connect the drive to your computer it should be able to read it. If not then the system will ask you if you want o erase the hard drive. Select yes, it will format the drive for use with a Mac only. This is the required format to use it as a Time Machine backup. As stated in our post you would like to use this hard drive on both Windows and Mac, you should reformat the hard drive as exFAT in disk utility.

I am thinking of buying a iPad but my main desktop machine uses Windows 7 and MS Office. How easy or difficult is it to transfer data files between the iPad and Windows? Are there obvious problems or the need for some form of conversion programs?

DavidYou don't need conversion programs, iTunes can copy most of your content over to the iPad via the file sharing section, and some apps also support Dropbox, email attachments, transfer via your wifi network. There are a number of apps that you can get that support Microsoft office file (microsoft don't make an app versions of their software) e.g. from Apple there are Pages (word support), Numbers (excel) and Keynote (powerpoint), and from third-parties there are apps such as Documents To Go and QuickOffice HD

Is there a way to get an apple mail folder exported to outlook mail folder structure? I'm using Gmail on my IMAC and have a PC for work. Want to share folder structure between systems.
Use following steps to import apple mail to outlook:
Choose Mailbox->Export Mailbox, or choose Export Mailbox from the Action pop-up menu
Choose a folder or create a new folder where you want to store the exported mailbox.
Outlook for Mac: Choose File->Import Mailboxes. Select the mail application you want to import messages from.
If it does not work then you should use third party apple mail to pst applications. You can easily search in Google about these applications. -
When Firefox 4 was proposed, I immediately checked the system requirements for Mac user:

MacOS 6"
So I downloaded it, since my OS is 10.5.8 (PPC), I thought I was fine. When downloaded, the Firefox icon showed a Stop sign in the middle: maybe a new logo? But when trying to open it, a window popped up saying this version was not compatible with my system. Therefore, using Time Machine, I reverted back to Firefox 3.6.16.
If this is the case, you should absolutely warn '''PPC''' users not to download Firefox 4. Your version is probably for '''Intel''' versions.

If the main router on your network is also an Apple product, it might be possible to connect the Time Capsule using wireless only. Please post back to provide the model number of the product that you have in order to check for compatibility.
If your main router is not an Apple product, the Time Capsule will need to be connected back to your main router using a wired Ethernet connection in order to function as a wireless access point on your network.
While an Ethernet cable connection is ideal, a pair of Ethernet powerline adapters might be able to send an "Ethernet" signal over the existing AC powerlines in your home. There are more details to go over with these types of adapters if you want to consider them, because they tend to be "iffy", and not predictable in all situations.
