I'm using Gmail, do I need to make changes?

I use Gmail to retrieve my verizon.net email (2 accounts) so I can more easily get email to my android phone. Do I need to change my settings? I've tried making the changes but I get a timed out error every time. If I need to make the changes can someone help me figure out how to do it... Thanks.

I use gmail for my primary email account with Verizon as a back-up, though I rarely use Verizon. I also use Outlook to retrieve my email. What changes do I need to make to my Verizon settings in order to get both the gmail and the email through Outlook? I'm not a techie so simple instructions would be most helpful. iWeb uses the domain.sites2 files to store its assets.
You'll find it here :
~/Library/Application Support/iWeb/
where ~ is your Home directory.
If you take a computer with you, you have to store that file in the same location.
It's not different from taking documents with you if you want to edit them.
A solution is to remotely control your computer at home.
TeamViewer, LogMeIn, Apple Remote Desktop or any VNC application you can use, like "Chicken of the VNC".

I need to make changes to a folio already on the newsstand...How to?

Good news/Bad news.
Good news....I had a in-App purchae on my latest issue approved in record time. Less than 24 hours.
Bad News...So quick that I didn't notice some things that needing fixing before the folio was approved for sale. Use to 4 days or more and having that window to catch any mistakes I may have missed.
Anyway...this is the first time I need to make a change to a folio already in the store and being sold.
How do I go about it?
Do I need to resubmit the in-app purchase to Apple and wait for approval again?
Or do I just make the change and update the folio in folio producer and it will update in the app store automatically without Apple needing to apporve it again. If someone can give me the run down I'd very much appreciate it. I don;t want to make issues worse as these problems at this point are not super critical but I do know someday I will have to do this for important reasons. So now is the time to learn and do it without the added stress.
A step by step or a link to one would be much appreciated.

Changing host name of OID repository... Where do I need to make changes?

We are moving our OID metadata repository to a different host and Im curious where I need to make the modifications in our OID installation to accommodate the new host name.
Things we have already done:
1) Modified and pushed out the new tnsnames.ora file.
2) ODM -> Entry Management -> Oracle Context Made changes to a) orclnetdescstring b) cn=OID -> cn=Description_0 -> cn=Address_List_0 -> cn=Address_0 -> orclnetaddressstring
3) Updated the %ORACLE_HOME%\OraHome\sysman\emd\targets.xml
After these changes were made, completed rebooted the system. OID seems to be working, however if I open a command prompt and 'tnsping OID' I still get the old host name, however if I fully qualify it, 'tnsping OID.xxx.local' it finds the correct host name....
Am I missing an update somewhere that causes tnsping to not find the correct host for the repository? Can I update the current repository registration via oracle tool?

There's no 'decompiler' to convert SWF files back to
Captivate.
But I've seen references to decompilers to convert SWF files
back to
Flash (FLA). You could search, find, and try one of
those...but I'd
guess that the result wouldn't be very...edit-friendly.
Otherwise, you gotta start a new movie.

Need to make changes in the code for ME21

My requirement is as below.
Whenever I create any any PO using ME21 by copying any existing PO, the value for Pay Tems (EKKO-ZTERM) comes from the PO from which I am copying. But requirement is that the value for Payment Term should populate from the Vendor Master(LFB1-ZTERM). I tried to use implicit enhancement and make changes in the include MM06EF0E_EKKO_ZTERM but I am getting the error message as *u2018Object cannot be enhanced - Software Component unknown and cannot be enhancedu2019*. Please help me how to come out of this issue or is there any other method to meet my requirement other than using implicit enhancement.

On your phone go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that you are syncing with iCloud (such as contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted, be sure to choose to keep the data on the iPhone. After everything is turned off in Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up your new iCloud account using your new Apple ID and then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to this new account.

Need to make changes to the iMovie that has already been shared into iDVD

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to "update" or "reimport" the iMovie into the DVD project that has already had all the menus/buttons/text/dropzones formatted? I got almost to the end and realized I forgot to change the order of a couple clips. I really don't want to start all over in iDVD if it's possible to update it.

Yes, it's possible however iDvd doesn't always take well to rearranging any of the video assets.
Here's a very good practice directly from iDvd's Help Menu:
Moving or renaming project files on your hard disk
If you move or rename a file (for example, movie, slideshow, or a song) that’s used in your iDVD project while the project is open, the project will not be updated to reflect the change. As a result, when you burn the project to a disc, the moved or renamed file will not be included. However, if you close your iDVD project before moving or renaming project source files, iDVD can help you locate the files again when you reopen the project.
To find a project file that you moved or renamed:
Open your project.
A warning dialog indicates that one or more files are missing and asks you to find the missing items.
Click Find File and select a missing file.
If other missing files are in the same location, iDVD will find and relink these files as well.
To remove a missing file from your project, delete the reference to it in the menu, slideshow, or movie button, and save your project.

Need to make changes to FC load page/progress bar.

I have a page built in FC that contains media that requires some time to download (36mb or so) and my client loves everything I have done exept the load page. I have no idea where I need to go to make adjustments to this page. All I want to do is add a background image to let the impatient visitors know that the page they are looking for is loading. I am also curious as to why it takes this page so long to load since the media is not embedded into the swf. The more important question is where I need to go to create a custom layout for the load in page with the white on white progress bar. The page in question is here:

Short answer is, not in Flash Catalyst right now.
But you can change it in Flash Builder with a little coding.

Failure to send email using gmail server

I am using gmail account and I use thunderbird to download all the emails and to compose my emails. Now I'm trying to write a java application that will send out emails. Since I'm still in school I am using gmail account for the class project.
One t hing I noticed is that in my thunderbird I use secure connection using TLS. How should I incorporate that here in the java code. Is that why I'm getting the exception. Anyone knows any other smtp server using which I could submit my assignment.

I use Gmail as my main contact/email - info gets corrupted in iCloud

I have a realitive noob to this - we use Macs at my office but I have never owned a Mac until I bought a mid 2011 Macbook Pro from my IT guy at work. He maxed it out with RAM, etc so it suns sweetl Well I am now a Mac addict with a 1st gen iPad mini and also a 5S (stood in line it the day it came out). I have only one apple ID which I use with all three devices and when I make changes in my gmail online book it doesn't automagically work. I have also noticed that I when I enter contacts on iCloud it doesn't necessarily show up in my Gmail addresss
Obviously, this makes me a sad panda and I need the situatioin rectfied since a lot of this is medical related to my disorder and I need the info alwaysl

Then it keeps telling me it's synching repeatedly and never stops.
When I go in to iPhoto on the Macbook to move photos, there are oftentimes duplicates of photos - often 3 to 4 of the same photo. It won't allow me to drag or drop photos into proper albums except very rarely - there's no rhyme or reason.
I'm not sure what to do. Everything is backed up and it seems like with every back up, it gets more and more screwed up.
Also, if I delete some of the photos, thinking that I deleted it from just the trashcan in iPhoto it turned out that I deleted them from my Facebook albums as well.
So, at this point I am ready to throw the computer and I need to know what to do about getting these pics out of iPhoto, put in folders outside of iPhoto, and working with another program that will allow me to share them with Facebook, friends, etc.

Google them to confirm the settings that you need for the outgoing server, then check the setting you entered on the pad. Pay real close attention to the outgoing server name, and port. You may need to change in on the pad.
