I'm using internet explorer(yuk!!) and am having trouble with getting back my search engine "google" and all i get is "blank page", can u help?

First of all, forgive me cuz I'm probably NOT the sharpest "chip in a laptop" but I use Internet Explorer as my ISP(I've heard that GOOGLE CHROME is soo much better??) and Google as my search engine. For some reason(I know, probably USER idiot!!) even though I have set in my "internet connections" tab, www.google.com chosen, the minute I click a new tab to look for something else, that dreaded "about blank" or maybe "blank page" comes up.....wtheck???? Can u help me pleeez......thank u ..

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

I'm currently using Internet Explorer E8 and Firefox as alternative browsers, but am thinking of uninstall IE. If so , would I lose all my favourites/bookmarks already imported to Firefox?

It is always a good idea to have a second browser.
It is very difficult to fully remove Internet Explorer as some of it is integrated into the Windows operating system. I doubt if you'll find it in XP's Add/Remove Programs.
Bookmarks in Firefox will stay there if you uninstall any other browser.

I can't print from firefox. The paper feeds throught the printer but does not print. The same web pages will print when I use internet explorer. And the printer works fine with word, excell etc, just not with firefox.

Whenever I try to print any page opened in firefox it will not print. The paper feeds through the computer, but does not pring.

iBooks purchased via iTunes are normally protected with DRM and can only be viewed using the iBooks app on an iOS device. Such requirements are stated on every page where you can purchase an iBook, just below the button to buy.

Using Adobe XI, when trying to open PDF I get a blank page with small "x." How can I open the docume

Ocassionally I will try to open a PDF. The document is not viewable. I can only see a white page with a small black "x" in the top portion of the page. I have a "repair" in adobe. I have the latest version Adobe XI. Any suggestions on what I can do? I need access to the documents asap.

No I haven´t take it to Apple Store, i think I will actually. My iphone was jailbroken and ulocked with gevey sim, but when this failures began i decided to restore it, and I did preserve the baseband, but when I took it into one of these "Places" they told me it would be a good idea to do a clean restore and see if this fixed the problem so I upgraded my baseband, and right now my iphone is freshly restore, no jailbreak no nothing.
Btw yes something like a year ago my screen was replaces by others not by apple, but I didnt had any issues after this.. until today (a little more than a year later).

I'm having trouble with a multi channel acquisition and download with PXI-5922

I am having trouble with getting data out from both channels of a PXI-5922. My software seems to be working, but when I do the fetch there is no data for the second channel. I am using the same format for all of the channelList inputs (0,1). I've checked the instrument handles and anything else I can think of, but this is my first time trying to collect data on 2 channels of a digitizer. Any help would be appreciated.

that there are several examples that come with the NI-SCOPE driver. They can be

When I try to download any alternate browser, all I get is another warning that the alternate is "not compatible with your operating system." Is Firefox preventing this? The site listed below is a job application site. I've had this same problem with other job application sites also.

There should be a User Agent Switcher menu item under Tools, which gives you the browser names you can impersonate.
The menu item name changes to the browser UA you are presently using.
There is also a User Agent Switcher button, you can add it using View -> Toolbars -> Customize, and dragging the button to your toolbar.

You can just start trying IE versions (or the versions it says on the site) until it lets you in.

SharePoint 2013 - document libraries and newsfeeds are visible when viewed using Internet Explorer running on the server but not from any other machine

On a single Windows 2012 R2 server I have installed SQL 2012 and SharePoint 2013 SP1 with the latest update roll ups. When I remote desktop to the server using the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using
Internet Explorer, I'm able to see newsfeeds and document libraries.
If I connected to a separate Windows 7 machine as the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using Internet Explorer, I'm able to view the SharePoint pages except I cannot see any newsfeeds or document libraries.
There's just blank space where they should be. I have repeated this process on several other machines that are not the server and get the same result on every machine (I've tried other servers, desktops, adding the SharePoint site to the trusted sites list
in IE, even using firefox). I'm using the same account as I did when I logged onto the server directly. Any thoughts as to what's going on?

It is currently set to the default of http://server_name and http://server_name:port_number (the latter is for Central Admin).
When I have access to the server, I have always done so the same way, using http://server_name. This was true when I access it from the desktop of the server itself and when I tried to access it from other desktops and servers (the machines where I had the
issues with the libraries and feeds not showing up). Are there other values I should add?
I have not tried to add http://server_FQDN as we don't plan on using that to access it but if you think it will help I would be happy to add it.
