Unfortuantely, you can only track the phone if you had set up iCloud and enabled Find My iPhone on it before it was lost or stolen. I don't believe there is anything that Apple can do to locate your phone either.

However, when I tried to run a connection pooling example - from a text book (called "PooledExample.java") - I got the following error messages...

Where can I find/download the package that contains these classes (I'm assuming that there missing)? Is it possible that JDBC 2.0 works for Oracle9i only? (I'm using Oracle8i)

They should be in classes12.zip (oracle.jdbc.driver definitely is). It sounds like you don't have classes12.zip in your classpath when you are compiling. Normally you don't use the Oracle classes directly so you only need classes12.zip when running your application but in your case you are directly referring to them in your Java source code so you need them when you compile.

There are some third-party applications available which will rescue an audio library and write the files back to a PC HDD. The playlists might not copy, nor the album art work, nor videos but you might be able to recover all audio files. Some apps are open source and available for free download, for example: Senuti, Onyx. There are others which are Windows-based; do a Google search to find out.

I can't get my itunes playlists to sync now that I had to get new computer. My library is still there and the playlists show and I can even add to my playlists. But as soon as it goes to sync it says it can't find all the songs that used to be there.

You would have to transfer purchases, but the apple ID would need to be the same.

iCloud maintains a database of your contacts which it uses to keep all devices and computers connected to the same iCloud account in sync. If you ever wonder whether you've lost contacts because they do not appear on a device or mac/pc, you should log into iCloud.com using a computer's browser and go to the Contacts page. You should find your contacts there. If there but they do not appear on your device, see below for instructions. If they are not there, then for one reason or another, they have been deleted. See below for options if this is the case.
Getting contacts from iCloud to a device.
Your device/computer needs to be connected to the proper account in iCloud and have contacts set for syncing. Go to Settings>iCloud (for a device) or System Preferences>iCloud (for a mac - can't help you with a PC, but hopefully you'll know where to go). Be sure iCloud is turn on and that you have the right account. If you need to change the account, scroll to bottom of screen (device) and tap Delete Account. Find a similar button on a mac. This will not delete data from iCloud, it only disconnects the device/mac from the current account. Then enter ID/password for the correct account. Next, be sure Contacts is turned on. [If it has been turned on, try turning off and then back on. If still not working, disconnect from iCloud and connect again.] You should get your contacts back.

One possibility is that someone else is using the same iCloud account (family member, etc.) and they deleted contacts, thinking they did want them on THEIR device. How to get them back? Unfortunately, an iCloud backup does not include any of the sync databases, like contacts, notes, calendars, reminders, etc. because the data is already stored in these databases. Your only hope for restoring the data is if you had that data on a computer (like a mac's Contacts, Calendars, etc.) and that data was backed up using whatever backup software you typically use (e.g. Time Machine on a mac). Just restore the data files back to the computer. Other than that, I'm afraid the data is gone.

Had one mac backed up with TC went to back another to same time capsule now can not find back up for original mac

Had my main mac computer in office for many weeks backed up with TC, all was fine. Earlier today went to back up my Mac Book to the same TC. All appeared to go fine. On the main computer I try and enter the Time Machine and it is telling me that there is no Location for Time Machine Backups. It then tells me that I need to set time machine up again. How can I put back the bar that held my go-to site icons?

I am referring to the bar that has the site address, and Google box. In the past, I placed a lot of icons on that bar, that I got from my bank, utility sites for bills, mail, facebook, etc. It was a great convenience. The bar had a plus sign, to add more icons. A window would appear, that allowed you to choose an icon and enter the site address. A lot of the sites had their own icons, that would automatically appear, in the window. Now, I tried to follow the directions to add icons to the bar, but it looks like there are very few available, and hardly any that I use. I'm hoping that there is a way that can be used to add back the bar's abilities to place very useful icons, that were so easy to use. I'm sure many people are upset also. I am supposed to find out what strings from within that bytecode will be presented to the UI and what will be used for an internal usage.
i have no way of running the application to verify that, i can only work on the static bytecode files.

You would of course have to run it. Either via a VM or recreating a VM yourself.
As an example of that how would you figure out what string occurs in the following (pseudo) code?

Both programmes will give you a free download to scan your HD and see if the files are recoverable, but you'll have to pay for the full application to actually recover them.
In this case I doubt there'll be much left to recover as the files will probably have been overwritten by now. If you're really desperate you could try a Forensic recovery service, but you'd be talking 4-figure cost with no guarantee of useable results.

How can I recover pictures that were deleted from my Playbook after a OS upgrade?

The playbook would not back up when i connected to my pc via the BB desktop manager.
The message that popped up in the desktop manager advised the Playbook counldnt connect and the solution was it needed an update. When I okayed the update, the new OS was installed.
All I did was click ok to the message. Nothing popped up telling me the playbook would be wiped.
Now, all my pics and videos are gone - and have not been backed up. Is there any solution?

Yes. I tried the refresh and checked the uninstall tab. Still nothing. Another thing though - when I entered my Blackberry ID, it would not let me use my screen name because it was supposedly already in use. But I knew that because it was in use by me. It would only let me use the same name with a numerical suffix. So I am wondering if it thinks I am still logged on from before the upgrade. Also, is it possible the Playbook thinks I am some other use and won't let me access my files - like photos and videos, etc.
