Were you migrating from a Time Machine backup or via WiFi, ethernet, or Firewire?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

The default settings mostly likely use an audio sample rate of 32k. This doesn't work probably in FCP. You're probably better off capturing the tape in iMovie.

Try a reset aswel:
- hold the home button and sleep/wake button down for atleast 12 seconds

As long as you are behind a router, you don't need to have your firewall turned on at all, in fact it probably slows your computer and/or internet connection down a bit. The only time you need it is to either protect yourself against intrusion from others on your local network or if you hook your computer directly to a cable / DSL modem. Well, I followed instruction to consolidate all itunes file to the itunes folder. Then dragged the whole folder from the old laptop to the external hardrive. I would assume that's all of the files.

What I can I do when my iPod (4th gen) will only charge when it's completely dead? It will charge up untill it turns on, then it stops charging, and the battery life then will only last for about 5 minutes. It won't connect to the computer either. Help?

Have you tried the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
However, ou may have a hardware problem like a dead battery and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store may be in order.

The Migration Assistant successfully finished transferring most of my information between my old MBP and my new rMBP, even thought the "less than a minute remaining" actually took several hours, even using Thunderbolt cables.
At the end of the migration, the Migration Assistant displayed a message "not all of your files could be transferred".
Where is the log containing the list of files that couldn't be transferred?
The only system log entries relating to the migrations system are of the "2/27/15 9:17:14.000 AM kernel[0]: Process systemmigrationd [546] disabling system-wide CPU Throttling" variety.

I would suspect--though I don't know for certain--that the hyphenation-marking digits work as in other UNIX programs. Here are two leads:

I used the Migration Assistant to move my music library on iTunes to a new one, and both my new Macbook and old computer said the music transfer worked. However, I can´t seem to find the music files on my Mac that I wanted to transfer. Where are they, and how can I move them into iTunes?

Log out, log in to the migrated account, locate the music, drag it to the /Users/Shared/ folder, and from there to the first account's home folder.

The problem is: after I concluded the long process of migration my OS X is not working correctly. I have been worried since and have been trying to figure it out by going into forum and even apple's own support comunity!

Welcome to the account number problem. Each user account has a number, starting with 501, 502 etc. Whereas Setup Assistant uses the first account (say 501) which is the same as the original data disk, later use of Migration Assistant creates a new user account (say 502), so cannot then communicate with the old data.

Using Forms Migration Assistant

I have been migrating a application server from forms 6i to 10g (10.1.2.0.2) using Forms Migration Assistant (FRMPLSQLCONV) tool.
First of all, I have converted .pll files, and It has been converted right.
Then It has been compiled and right.
But when I try to convert a form (.fmb files) in a different path from libraries (.pll files) and It didn't work.
I have changed REGEDIT (FORM_PATH), DEFAULT.ENV file (FORM_PATH), FORMSWEB.CFG file in the WORKING-DIRECTORY and It doesn't work.
Could you help me?
I have an idea. Compiling directly in 10g . It is possible?

Thank you, I've tried the support tips (resetting the network, checking security settings, etc.) and rebooting the network devices several times to no avail. I've actually been working on this for several days (when I can afford to have the network down).
What I have to determine is what has changed in the setup...from when it WAS working just fine with all devices.
