I'm brazilian... so... sorry for the english!
I thought that the IPOD would be a good choice, but perceived that it is a great disillusionment.
Specially about the battery, it lasts very little of I expected. (About 4-6 hours, ligh off, equalizer rock, moderate volume). I know that IF I turn OFF these settings the battery is extend, but these settings are basic! I can't live without them off...
The "life-use" of Li-ion batteries is to little too (about 500 cycle-charges)
Do you know or somebodys knows some way to extend battery charge?

Is it actually running out, or are you going by the meter? The vast majority of people who have this problem aren't actually running out of power. They only think they are. The meter is very inaccurate. After my iPod reaches zero, my iPod continues to work for five hours or more.
If you want the meter to be more accurate, let the iPod run down completely, but don't do this too often. Just once in a blue moon. This will calibrate the meter but has nothing to do with the battery itself.

If you don't like Li-ion, the bad new for you is that Li-ion batteries are now used in all products by all manufacturers. ALL rechargeable batteries, no matter what type they are have a limited number of charge cycles - your phone, your laptop, everything. The only difference with Apple is that they're telling you this up front.

No, but if you follow the advice above, hopefully this won't be an issue.

VERY DISSAPOINTED at the lack of accessori

Very, very, very dissapointed at the complete lack of accessories for the Creative line. I own a creative micro photo 8 gb which I purchased two days ago. I started out with the Sleek photo, but was very dissapointed in the sound quality. I used 4 different set's of headphones, and they all sounded like garbage. I exchanged it for the creative zen microphoto, and what a world of difference in sound quality, using those same headphones I had used before.
Now, I want to listen in my car. The creative site advertises the belkin tunecast fm transmitter. The store I bought it from had it, so i bought it too. This too, was a dissapointment, as 88. was a dead station in my area and my sirius unit broadcasts crystal clear to this station. With my sirius unit off, and unplugged, i attached the belkin tunecast to the creative and heard a lot of static and garbage. I didn't matter where I moved the tunecast and the player too, it was not clear, had a lot of static, and was again, another dissapointment.
I guess I'm done with creative. Sadly, I love the X-fi line of sound cards, as I have the the extreme music version. However, the lack of support for any sort of car dock, to hardwire the player into the stereo, or any sort of decent fm transmitter that fits on the creative player (like the i trip) is going to make me *dry heaves* buy an IPOD.
I REALLY like the player itself. I am dissapointed that none of the creative accessories (what few there are) were carried in ANY retail store. Wal-mart, Best Buy, Circuit city, none of those had ANYTHING. No cases, no speakers, nothing. Come on Creative, get it together. You came halfway and made a great player, now follow through and offer supporting accessories. -
Someone, please enlighten me as to other resources I can use to hardware my player, or at least a decent fm transmitter.

JK23 no offense, but I am not lugging around a huge set of speakers that requires AC Power. What I am referring too is a powered speaker system that has a built in dock. One simple piece of equipment that I can stick in a suit case that requires no AC power, but runs on batteries. Yeah I know about the travel speakers and I also could go out and buy a boombox that has an aux-input. But guess what JK, if I had an iPod I wouldn't have to do either of those because there are dozens of companies that make power speakers systems with a built in dock. Creative made a nice one for the Zen Micro, but you'd think with the ZV:M being their Cadillac they would have been smart enough to realize they needed to make one for it.
The fact is there is no powered speaker system with dock for the ZV:M because creative doesn't make one and apparently no one else in the industry has any incenti've to do so. I won't except excuses and I darn sure won't make any for them, nor will I suggest that someone buy something else, when clearly that isn't what they want.
I could buy a set of computer speakers anywhere, but that isn't what I want and if I had an iPod that isn't what I'd have to settle for, so I hope this clears that up. I know I am being rather blunt, so don't get offended, just setting the record straight.

Question about iPod Notes

First of all, let me say that I'm not very 'techie' so if this is a stupid or naive question...please bear with me.
My question is about iPod notes. It says you can only put plain text files in the notes folder, and yet it does not display the note in plain text (I believe the display's font is Helvetica). It also wraps earlier than at 80 characters like a .txt file should.
So basically...the note never looks the same on TextEdit (or whatever) as it does when you view it to your iPod.
I have been making a few eBooks to read on my iPod and -- just to make them look neater -- I would like to do a few things like centering titles, adding dividing lines, etc.
So I was hoping somebody could tell me how to set TextEdit (or whatever) so that a note will look the same on it as it does when viewed on the iPod so that I can edit the file. --Like, what is the exact font and size of the text on the iPod display and where does it wrap exactly (I figure it must wrap according to the size of the window, since a variable number of characters can go on a line w/ non-equal-spaced type).
Also...I figure that the file I edit would have to be a .rtf since the display is not in plain text, yet it says you can only put plain text files in the iPod notes folder. So...I suppose I would have to convert the file from .rtf to .txt before putting it into my notes folder...or can you put rtf. files in there after all?
Anyways...any help anybody out there can give me with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much!

Plain text means it does not have any special coding/characters in it such as Bold or Underscores or page breaks.
Plain text docs do not store anything except text. It does not specify a font. That is taken care of by whatever app you are using.

You can put rtf in the Notes folder but the iPod will ignore any of the formatting.
You can use some html to format a bit as well as linking to other files/songs/photos.

There are a few apps and web pages to put text docs into the correct size files.

Since updating my iPad 2 to ios8, it safari has been slow and crashing and some of the apps acting wierd. The password app doesn't work at all so had to find another way of retrieving all my passwords. Very very dissapointing

Actually the Licensing information for the package is missing hence it is not launching any applications. You need to Reserialize the products using APTEE which you can find it on the Machine where you have created the package. If you dont have the access to that Machine then please download and install Creative Cloud Packager and it will download APTEE in the below mentioned location.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\CCP\utilities
Once downloaded please follow this KB article to use the Tool.

V4.0 won't start. crashes each time. Had to go back to previous version. Version 4 is just not ready for general release, it is massively messed up. The online fixes here had no effect whatsoever. VERY DISSAPOINTED

tried automatic upgrade from within 3.6.. did not work..crashed upon re-start. tried remove program completely for a fresh install..same thing crash upon V4.0 start up....
Reinstalled 3.6.15...
4.0 is NOT READY for general release. Tried the fixes as suggested here, but they were useless and no help what-so-ever.
Very dissapointing, as I've been using Firefox as my only browser since it was introduced years ago.. this may be the end of the line....VERY DISSAPOINTED

You are not speaking to Apple here. So none of us can "fix it."
TRy try quitting the Photos app followed by a reset of the ipad. To quit an app double click the Home button to reveal the row of recently used apps. Flick up on the page preview and it will fly away and disappear. That quits the app. Then Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

But when we use the network service name to connect to database, it became very very slowly, about 25 seconds. the command is as following:

And "tnsping name" is normal, with in 10 mses.

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.
