I'm wondering if anyone has any input on using Photoshop ELements 8 on Lion?

I have not switched to Lion just yet. I'm doing lots of research first. I'm already resigned to the fact that I'd have to upgrade my Microsoft Office for Mac, but wondering if anyone has any experience with running Photoshop Elements 8 on Lion? I'm thinking that it best to be informed before making that switch as to what will work and what won't!! Thanks for any input you may have...

I have PhotoShop Elements 6 and it seems to do everything it did in Leopard, SL and now Lion. I would imagine PS 8 would be the same. But maybe someone else will confirm about PS 8.

When, if it comes on it blurrs and fades out after a couple of minutes the screen also jitters and dies often. Thanks for the reference, the Web site explains a lot. And yes, my prefessor is from another country, so understanding his english is a little rough.
I have read the info, and tried to apply it to my problem but the simple program will still not run. It compiles fine but when I type the following in cprompt:
java DisplayData <- (my file name)
I still get the same error message. I understand that it cannot find the class path, but his explanation of what to do about my problem isn't clear. Or maybe I'm not understanding him correctly.

Check this post, the dial assist is part of the iOS 7.1, according to page 49 of the iphone_user_guide
Make calls to your contacts and favorites while traveling abroad. (GSM) Go to Settings > Phone and turn on Dial Assist. Dial Assist automatically adds the prefix or country code for calls to the U.S.
This user had a similar problem and solved it by switching off the dial assist feature in Settings/Phone/Dial Assist

I love the Smart Cover. It fits the way I work and I love the instant on/off and the always available screen protection. I wouldn't use my iPad without it.
I got a Cover Buddy for the back, because I wanted the back to be less slippery when I'm using the iPad in the classroom, teaching. I had a similar issue with my Daughter's 3GS - I tried restoring it with "Restore Mode" and it would not do it. A quick search led me to MacRumors.com where I found an article on restoring your device via DFU Mode. It takes awhile to do it, but it definitely fixed my issue.

Has anyone found any info on stopping Photoshop & DreamWeaver CC from crashing?

Aodobe thinks the issue is that my DELL 620 i5 with 6GB RAM 2 TB drive 500GB scratch disk and Windows 7 64bit is the problem. However, since the system is just over a yr old I do not want toreplace it just to make the CC products run.So does anyone have any input or advice to keep Ps and Dw from crashing?

In order to use PS CC and Dw CC it sounds like I need to get a Windows 8 PC and laptop because CC will not run without problems on either my PC or laptop. I would like to know before updating mine.

My 3G kept freezing after iSO 4.2.. and after reading the forums I updated both my Itunes and software to iOS 4.3.1, now I've lost my notes, contacts, calender entries and so far in the last ten minutes it's turned off and restarted itself and sync'd continually about 5 times.
So basically I'm still where I was before only more cranky. In addition, I live in Australia and there are no Genius places here, there is no support from Apple unless you pay for it even by an email, you basically end up fending for yourself under a supposed warranty that isn't worth the paper its printed on.
It you haven't already guessed, I'm more than a little ****** off.
If I'd known how much trouble this was going to be, I don't think I would have spent the $400 odd dollars to buy it.
If its not right by the weekend I'm taking it back to the shop I bought it.
