I made a imovie out of a group of photos and added music. When I burned to DVD on iDVD and played back the disc all of the photos were larger than the frame could accommodate and the sides were cut off. I also tried resizing from 16 9 to 4 3 and no better

I tried again by changing the size from 16 9 to 4 3 and it didn't make any difference. Would going to share to browser rather than directly to share to IDVD make a difference?
What do the photos look like if you play the movie within iMovie? Sounds like adjusting Ken Burns would help.

The printer was working fine. Suddenly that changed. Now when I print, the print is huge and a large part of the text is cut off. I tried reducing the size of the font but that did not help. This had happened to me before about a year ago and I tried different things with firefox and was finally able to fix it. However, this time I have tried all your troubleshooting tips and nothing works. The print function was working normally up to a couple of days ago and to the best of our knowledge neither my husband and I have made any changes to the settings.

Go to the Map mode in your iDVD project and make sure the blue bin at the left is empty. That's where you drag slideshows to if you want the DVD to open immediately to that slideshow and bypass the menu.

I just bought a very good quality Sony AVCHD camcorder. I also just upgraded my computer from Tiger to Snow Leapord. My iMac is a 6-year-old, 2.16GHz Intel 2 Duo, with a 24 inch screen and 3GB Ram.
My Sony camcorder HD video looks great in iMovie11 and in iDVD7.1.2., but when I burn a DVD "professional" it looks terrible. If I look at a freeze frame on the DVD I see image made-up of squares. The picture has poor contrast. It looks as bad as poor quality VHS. Do I need to get a new iMac to make this work? Is it possible to make a sharp, clear DVD from AVCHD footage with a 6-year-old iMac like mine?That thread helped for a time. But now it seems as though my computer is back to slow again. But, some of the jargon is over my head as well. Not sure I knew quoite everything they were talking about. But thanks a lot for that, it helped I probably just need to reread it and follow the instructions again. Thanks so much.

You said important word "mod". Are you dealing with mod widescreen files? If so, there is a serious problem with them in Premiere Elements 13. I have written about this in detail.
So, let us rule out or in the above before going further.
Please see if the details written about in the following apply to your situation....

After downloading IOS 6 all my stored pictures were wiped off. I later noticed that the pictures are still there on photo stream on my Facebook and google accounts. How do I transfer these pictures back to my iPad from any of these accounts?
I once had a sync problem that turned out to be that a specific photo was corrupted and impeded the process from continuing. Try to see if it gets stuck at a specific photo, then delete just that one.

I have a library of nearly 2000 songs and all of which were purchased/downloaded in their entirety. It seems that after one of the iTunes updates… many (not all, but plenty) of those songs were “cut off” after playing about 2/3 through them… I haven’t gone through the entire library to see which are complete and which were cut off, but hoped this is “known problem” and hopefully with a known “fix”… Make sense?
Please advise…

Opened a .ai file, found that left and right side are cut off (landscape vs. regular the issue?)
Information all in the title. I open a .ai file and the left and right sides of the image are cut-off based on the "page" box
Did you open it in a lower version?
It looks like you opened the PDF part of the file instead of the AI part. -

I create a project w/iMovie and I have two problems: When I try to finalize the project iMovie crashes; when I share to DVD sometimes it crashes also; if I can successfully send it to DVD and then burn a DVD there are wavy lines on the screen. I'm uising photos in my project, not video. Help!
You can split a project in two by doing this.
1) Go to the Project Library View.
2) Select your project, and click FILE/DUPLICATE PROJECT. Give it a name like "your project name - part 1".
3) Do this again. This time name it "your project name - part 2"
4) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the second half.
5) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the first half of the project.
At the end you should have your original project, plus the same project in two parts. -

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

please help i started my project with video format 720HD, resolution 12x720, rate 25p. at last when i finish and burn to dvd the edges are cut off and my logo cut off the screeen aswell any one help please i am really in trouble. thanks

I did go to their Web site and I see they have a support link. Perhaps you can get help there or in their forum.
If you are OK with a DVD with a basic menu, you could try the Share>DVD option in FCP.

How can I print from MAC with Acrobat Reader. I can't seem to get it to print correctly , first two pages of letter size works ok after the remaining pages get moved up and the printing is cut off.
I arrived here looking for a solution! And while reading your post the penny dropped that I didn't have a serious problem. I have a booklet of 112 pages and all I needed to do was re-order the pages as printed so that 1 is followed by a sheet with 2 on the under-face but same side and so on. The pages had printed back to front and needed flipping. But then I have a duplex printer and maybe that makes a difference. Is it to do with your manual duplexing and the order that the second pass is presented to the printer. As my duplex sheets effectively needed flipping over each one I'm wondering if you can solve your problem with a little experimentation and re-ordering before your second pass.

when i play back the newly burned disc, the image on the tv set is cut off on each side.( there is still room on each side of the tv set for the image to show but it is as if the movie was cut about 2-3 inches off on each side) but not when i play it back on my computer?? Why is this and what can I do to fix it?Also the tv set has wide and normal modes this does not change the loss of size. (I guess you can say it is cropped.)

What I'm saying is:
Make a new MONO audio track (use the + button). Assign it to input 1
Make a second new MONO track, assign it to input 2
Name both tracks, record-enable both tracks, and record.
You could, of course, make both tracks in one go via the new track dialog box, and hav ethem automatically assigned to ascending inputs.
