I made a mistake using find iphone I formatted my MBP now I need to re-install the Mac OS but it takes very long time while my internet connection is very slow please help me to re-install it offline

Uunfortunately they will tell you when you call that the order can't be modified and you'll have to cancel your current order and place a new. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but I'm sure doing so at this point will move your shipping date further than you'd probably want. Speaking from experience with this very same issue. Sorry as I'm sure this isn't the answer you were hoping for.

Using Find iPhone to track someone else

Before IOS7 I had my phone setup to track my kids' phones. I did this by creating a 2nd iCloud account on their phone with my iCloud login. But apparently a change has been made in IOS7 that prevents Find iPhone from being used in a secondary account. So, the only way I can track those phones now is to setup their "main" iCloud account with my login information. This works OK, except for one problem - they will now be unable to sync photos or documents to their own iCloud account or use Photo Stream.
If anyone knows of a workaround for this, please let me know. Ideally, I'd like for them to have their own fully functional iCloud accounts, but also allow me to use Find iPhone on my iPhone to track them.

If your router is not identified in a national database (don't recall who maintains it or where it is) then there is no location associated with it. Hence your device cannot be located. I suggest you try your test at some public wifi spot, like a bookstore or coffee shop. These places usually have a location associated with their wifi router.

If you forgot (or don't know) your passcode, restore the device from backup on the last computer it was synced with when the passcode was turned on... this will remove the passcode. If you do not have access to the last computer it was synced with, or you don't have a backup, you will have to force it into recovery mode & restore as a new device.

You are referring to VoiceOver. To turn off VoiceOver, open System Preferences > Accesibility > VoiceOver (in OS X Mountain Lion) and turn off VoiceOver, or open System Preferences > Universal Access and turn off VoiceOver

Yes.
Simply load the app onto her iPhone.
Note that the app allow you to find a different iPhone. You can use it to locate your own iPhone but if your own iPhone is in your hands and you are using the app...
Anyone can us the app to log into their own iCloud account and find their own iPhone (ie.You use her iPhone to locate your iPhone and vice-versa).

I have downloaded the Find iPhone app and when I start the application I have to enter the Apple ID and password. My Apple ID is just "gardkarlsen" but when I try to enter that, the app adds @me.com automatically. Isn't it possible to use Find iPhone if you have an Apple ID like the one I have?

Thanks for the feedback. I have logged into to change the Apple ID but it doesn't work. At the bottom of the screen of the tutorial it says "NOTE: Some Apple IDs cannot be changed, like the one in this example. In that case, you must create a new one." So I guess that means that I have to create a new Apple ID? But how will that influence my current iTunes setup and sync towards the iPhone?

First, turn your phone off. Then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.

I am an Apple fan and really like your products. I am now using an iPhone 4S. I have learnt and tried a lot of functions, menus, systems of iPhone. Therefore, today I have a case study from my friend that would like to request more clarification to make me understand of an iCloud / find my iPhone features.
The story happened on 27 April 2014 (I will use my local time which is UTC +0700), I was with my friend who is the owner an iPhone 4s 64GB IMEI:
01:00-02:30 PM: I was told by her that her iPhone was stolen then I tried to enter her iCloud ID ([email protected]) and used "find iPhone" feature. It was offline at this moment, I set lost mode enabled and forwarded her iCloud email to my personal for my convenience to check email.
3:39:59 PM: 1st mail received, from Apple and the topic is "How to reset your Apple ID password."
3:44:22 PM: 2nd mail from Find My iPhone topic "Lost Mode enabled on Rin (her iPhone's name)."
3:44:24 PM: 3rd mail from Find My iPhone topic "Rin has been found."
3:45:12 PM: 4th mail from Apple topic "Your Apple ID password has been reset"
3:45:44 PM: 5th mail from Find My iPhone topic "Find My iPhone has been disabled on Rin"
6:00-8:00 PM: I tried to enter her iCloud ID again, unfortunately, seem that password was changed by someone else.
I have tried my best to understand the situation above. but cannot figure it out.
Then around 10:00 PM, I tried "iforgot" to recover her iCloud password again and it came with an email (which is forwarded from her iCloud as it was set up by my previously). I just clicked the link "Reset now >" and I can make the new password again. WoW... so surprise!!!
But now it was useless, the phone cannot be tracked anymore.
This makes me understand something. I supposed the way, it can reset the password. Is it possible how it was happened like this:
1. the theif use "iforgot" entered her iCloud mail by other computer to request reset password. (her iPhone didn't set a passcode, so anybody can see her email very easy) and wait for an email arrive for 4-5 minute.
2. Connect this iPhone to internet and the mail came to app "mail" then he got "Reset now" link.
3. Password was already changed before lost mode was enabled.
4. Came up also with find iPhone feature, shown the position.
5. backed to iCloud ID and used new password to turn off find iPhone.
Did it happen as my thought?
My point is, actually the phone should be enabled lost mode as priority task but seem that it was not, so theif can change the password intime before lost mode activated. And I think that it is non-sense if it is what I said, also if I forgot the password, the system will send an email back to my same emailbox (I said I forgot my password). How could I enter to my box to check and click the reset link????????
Could you please kindly clarify me more about this case? Anyway to disable this phone by IMEI? or put it into iCloud lock after restore or update firmware?
Please note that I am sorry regarding to my poor English usage as I am not a native English speaker. I appreciate everyone who tries to read and thank you so much for your understanding.
