I made a reset on mu iphone 3g and its been three hours, still it isnt finished. is this normal?
is my phone still ok? i thought that it only took one hour to do a reset, its already more than three hours and its still not done. is this fine?
Hi, it all depends on how much data you had stored in your iphone, however since its the 3G version this could be considered normal for this type of device as it deletes every single bit of data as it doesn't use an encrpytion chip. If the phone takes more than five hours then I would start to worry and ask apple technical support.

I tried to send myself a password reset but it did send and its been 2 days!
Well two days ago I forgot my password and so I went to reset it but I did not recivethe email and so I tried again but still no email. So I decide to make a new account and it was all ok until the varification email because I still dindt recieve it and it still did not send me any of the emails.
And yes I checked my junk in both account and please dont say wait beacause today is day three of waiting!What should i do?

Even if there was a liquid contact with the phone, the phone is elligible bor the programme and the phone is under working condition except the power button which i assume is definitely because of the faulty mechanism of the phone.

Question: I tried to download google earth to my iphone and its been 6 hours. The icon on my phone shows waiting. I don't think this will finish so I want to delete this icon. I hold down on it until it flashes but will not let you delete. What do I do?
There was a glitch obviously. I recommend a restart. While the phone is powered on, hold the power and home button. Keep them held down while the phone powers down and starts back up don't release till you see the apple logo.

Check USB connections

Hello,
I needed to do a hard reset on my iPhone 3GS and it's taking me too much time. It's taking almost 3 hours by now!!!!
I did it by going to "Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings", confirm it and then the iPhone turns off, gets the screen black with only the animated circle going on. And it's been there since then.
Is this a symptom of something bad? Should I do the hard reset by another way?Hello Ali Syed,
It sounds like your phone is stuck at the spinning gear icon on the screen after Erasing all Content and Settings on your device. I would start by resetting the device with this process:
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

i hav an iphone 4s and its wifi is greyed out (dimmed). I tried by resetting the network settings and also restarted my device but it didn't worked. but i haven't unlocked my phone yet and im running it in ios 6.1.3. now wat to do?
Just an update it is a hardware issue and very common for iPhone 4s. I have to get my phone rewired which basically means new wireless chip. The amount of money I spent on buying an iPhone I should not expect to have anyway hardware problems happening. Make sure you have a warranty as luckily I've saved myself from spending more money to get this problem fixed.

Not photos, just data synced with iCloud shown in Settings>iCloud. If you don't have sufficient storage to back up to iCloud, back up to your computer instead using iTunes (connect you phone to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, go to ths Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now). Also transfer your purchases to your iTunes library (connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases). If you have photo stream photos older than 30 days tha you wan to save, save these to your camera roll before backing up (tap Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward facing arrow, then tap Save to Camera Roll).
When setting up your new phone, when given the option choose Restore from iTunes Backup and restore the backup you made earlier. -
I have an iPhone 5 16 GB and its been freezing alot and closes out of safari and my games often and my maps freezes alot, and also i just got the notifaction to update my phone to 6.02 i think it is until yesterday.
