I made a restore without a backup, is there a way to recover previous data ?
I made a restore sucessfully, but of course all contacts , photos and videos disapeared, is there a way to recover it ???
The phone was new, I dive into the swimming pool with it, after that the batery was replaced and it was working again and had all the data, but the camera was not working properly. I decided to make the first update and it was going well the itunes said it was backing up, but after the recovery was made the truth is that the phone was working but empty and the camera was still broken. there is no sign of the backup in my PC.
My question is: do the memory of the iphone4 saves information after a full recovery ?

Is there a way to recover iCal data from computer or iPhone backup through iTunes?
I synched my iPad with my computer and my ALL of my iCal information disappeared from my computer. I tried put my calendar information back on my computer from my iPhone, but instead the reverse happened, and all of my calendar information disappeared from my iPhone, too.
I am using an older MacBook Pro (15-inch Core 2 Duo), running Mac OS X Lion version 10.7.4, an iPhone 4, iPad 1, and iPod Touch, all using iOS 5.1.1 (9B206). I regularly use iCal on my iPhone and on my computer, but not on the iPad and iPod Touch.
I do not use iCloud because my personal calendar and contact information was appearing on other family member's iPhones. (We share an iTunes library in under my Apple ID, and I did not want to create a different Apple ID for iCloud yet.).
Is there a way to recover my iCal info on my computer? Or alternatively, could I recover it on my iPhone from my iTunes backups (my iTunes backups are encrypted)?
Of course, I learned my lesson, and if I recover my data, I will back up my calendar daily, but for now, valuable information is lost, and I would like to recover it if at all possible.
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you. You'll have to confirm with the developer of Keeper whether the data is stored as part of the iPhone backup or not. If it is, then restoring the iPhone from your latest back should restore the data to Keeper. My guess, though, is that since the free version of Keeper won't allow you to create a backup, the data is not part of the iTunes backup and hence won't be restored.

Is there a way to recover data in the event of a crash during backup?
I've been busy with schoolwork so I just got around to updating my iOS from 6.1.3 to 7.1.1. As all of you probably know, it was a much needed update since some apps stop working on older iOS versions. I first updated iTunes which was also out-dated. After restarting my PC I then connected my iPad and clicked the update button. As iTunes began to backup my iPad, it encountered and error (it didn't specify) and apparently lost communication with the iPad. The iPad was frozen. I am assuming it was waiting for iTunes. I tried re-inserting the USB but the device no longer registered with my computer. The only thing I was able to do was turn off the iPad but that put it into recovery mode. iTunes was then able to communicate with the iPad but insisted that it must be restored to factory settings. Since it was reset to factory settings, iTunes then asked if I wanted to set it up as a new iPad or restore from a backup. The problem is that for the same reason it has taken me so long to update iOS, I have also not created backup for the past 14 months. Is there a way to recover the data that was on the iPad or has the last 14 months been lost in manner of minutes?
If iTunes does not recognize the iPod
put it into recovery mode

DataBase restore without manual backup
I using a mobile service with the database. After the re-publishing services from the project visual studio, all data in table has been cleared. Data recovery mechanisms are not active (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/jj650016.aspx). Is there
anyway possible to recover the data?Hi,
Which Edition Database do you have ?
If you have Web or Business Edition databases, you have to create your own backup strategy.
Microsoft Azure SQL Database has built-in backups to support self-service Point in Time Restore and Geo-Restore for Basic, Standard, and Premium service tiers.

Is there a way to recover the photos I just took using my iPhone 4? Doing the restore backup deleted my new pics!!!!
maybe if you've done a more recent backup before restoring from the older one... also, maybe if you've had icloud set up, you may be able to recover them

Hi ... I had to replace my iPad and I want restore from backup but I forgot my password, is there any way of recovering it?
Would the backup be password protected? I don't know ... After you restore from a back-up, and if you have passwords set up, would the newly restored iPad require a password or would it be "live" for 5 minute or however long the iPad was set to wait to require a password? Maybe wiser heads can advise...

is ther a way to recover a restriction password without restarting the phone as a new phone
No. A simple backup and restore just restores the restriction password from the backup you just made, unless you revert to a backup before the password was set. The other option is recovery which deletes all data.

The phone is physically intact, but you can see the LCD is cracked behond the glass. I have tried plugging it in, tried putting it on the charger, and resetting it using the off and home buttons, bit response. I don't need the phone to work, but I do need to be bale to back it up in order to restore to the new phone. Is there any way to extract the data or back up the hard drive without repairing the phone? Just curious what my options are before I spend cash trying to fix the phone and find out there was another way to get the data. Any thoughts here or should a good repair shop being able to create a backup somehow?
Im not going to be much help because I don't know of anything else to besides take it somewhere that fixes electronics and see if they can get it off some how maybe if you take it to an apple store they can do something to get your information.

I have downloaded an update for my ipod 4th, and after that all my songs, pictures and apps have been erased, Is there some way to recover all my information without have done a security copy?
I supsect you did the update on other than your syncing computer. If yu did the app, music and synced photo will not be on the iPod after the update since those items are not in the backup that iTunes makes. See:
iOS 5: Updating your device to iOS 5
The above applies to all updates performedvia USB on a computer. To get stuff back, restore from backup on the syncing computer.
The above in my educated guess since you provided litle information about how you did the update.
You can redownload many iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store -
Is there any way to recover a 'Note' on my iPad without access to a PC or Mac?
Is there any way to recover a 'Note' on my iPad without access to a PC or Mac?
If the deleted note was on your iPad when you last backed it up to iCloud, with some effort you could restore it from your backup by following Winston Churchill's post here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/22600445#22600445.

My 4s crashed and Apple replaced it while I was out of town. I used it for a week without downloading my old information. When I backed up my old information it erased all my new information from a weeks work. Is there a way to recover that information?
It doesn't matter what it is in your backup that's causing the problem because you can not selectively restore things from your backup. It's all or nothing.
Set you phone up as a new device and start over. -
My wife just got a new iPhone 6 and took some great photos then I connected it to her computer and restored it to her iPhone 4 settings and lost her new photos. Is there a way to recover them?
Sorry, unless she backup up the new phone before or is using iCloud to save the photos, the photos are gone.
