I would suggest that you contact the developer of the app to see what exactly you purchased, because itunes store support can get you the refund, but they can't tell you exactly what you purchased. They just handle the money, they don't necessarily dictate what the app's devloper sells

I have made an in-app purchase, but did not receive the item.
I purchased some pro-cash for Tiger Woods golf on the iPad, through an in-app purchase. However, I did not receive the relevant credits, but was charged in full and received my iTunes Store invoice to confirm this.
I have followed the instructions provided in the support guide on how to 'Report a problem' but the links don't function the way the guide says they shoudl and there are no contact details for the vendro (EA Games). How do I go about escalating this properly?

I made an in-app. purchase using an advertisment banner but did not receive what was advertised, I would not have made the purchase otherwise and did not receive what was advertised. My question is, am I entitled to a refund..and if so how do I go about it? I DO wish to purchase according to the banner displayed but feel I should be refunded so I can purchase again so I get the advertised items. My purchase cost $51.99 so I am more than annoyed that I did not get what was advertised and will not purchase again if my money has been wasted with no recourse.
Contact iTunes Support. http://apple.com/support/itunes/contact/. Under these circumstances, you will probably get a refund. Report that app as well, and/or write a negative review in the App Store if you feel like it.

Was charged for an In-App purchase, but did not receive it.
While playing The Simpons - Tapped Out, I made an In-App Purchase of $9.99, and while it was being processed the game dropped me and went back to my homescreen, and then a dialog box popped up that said "Purchase Made". Went back into the game and nothing, so did the purchase again and 2nd time it worked.

I made an in app purchase and never received what I was supposed to. I contacted the producers of the app and they never got back to me. I then contacted apple and they said they would return my 25$ purchase. I still haven't gotten it. I am starting to feel like I just lost 25 dollars and both companies are sweeping it under the bus. i made an in app purchase and the purchase is listed on my billing summary but i cannot access the purchase within the app. I have tried deleting the game and reloading the app and the purchase, nothing seems to work.
I've had this with games, I had to contact support via the 'problems with this app' link on the receipt & they refunded my money.

I made an in-app purchase and it won't download. It keeps saying I've already purchased this in-app purchase but it hasn't been downloaded. It then say's Oops! Your transaction didn't go through, Please try again! and I have several times. The purchase has already been charged to my credit card on file.
Open the App Store and navigate to purchased, it should show the missing app under Not On This ipad. There should be a small cloud icon you can click on to download it.

The app took over $35 from my account and there is no way this was authorized. Please advise on how I can recover these funds.They did the same thing to me on 12/24/11. Apple overcharged me 3 times my purchase amount and have caused my bank account to be overdrawn!
I called my bank to make a statement of unauthorized charges AND filed a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). Apple provided no way to contact a live rep and the email reps have been useless...so they left me no other option.
I think they do this to their customers very often. It is extremely dishonest.
I actually posted the above info on this discussion community earlier today...and Apple deleted it! If that isn't an admission of guilt, I don't know what is.
But seriously...best of luck. -
