I make iWeb Link changes but they do not publish.

Here is my dilemma and I hope somebody can please shed some light on the problem and what I am doing wrong.
On my iWeb pages, I duplicate a page to keep the them consistent but then create changes on the duplicated page. The problem I occasionally run into is when I edit the hyperlink info.
Thus, I insert the new hyperlink URL info and save it. However, I publish the pages and it returns to the original info from the original page I used to make a duplicate.
Make sense? It's driving me batty. Any help is very much appreciated. After publishing, I've reloaded from Safari, etc. NBothing seems to work.

I have the same troubles. Some of my links don't work at all afetr publishing. Also I have text being cropped or position changes. I'll move something and the change doesn't publish. I have emptied the cache, reset Safari, had an Apple Tech on the phone for almost an hour. He ended up telling me I'll have to "experiment". I have an existing website hosted by Cedant that I was going to drop but it appears IWeb is more screwing around than that one. For a long time Mac user this is very dissapointing.

I'm trying to make different link styles, but they all match

I'm trying to create different link styles for different kinds of links (like links in the navigation bar, a telephone link for cell phone users, and maybe an email link).
All of these links will be different colors, against different colored backgrounds. So each of their normal states will need to be different colors.
Problem is, when I set one up the way I want, then go on to the next one, it is automatically set up with the normal state color I just set.
So I change it to the new normal state color I want for that item.
Then I go back to the previous link I had set up before, just to make sure it didn't change, but it did change to the new normal state I just set up.
Isn't there some way around this?

In order to get it working, I would suggest you to create different Text link styles and apply them according to the requirement in the website.

I sugggest you try my application, Dates to iCal. It is shareware with a 2 week trial period.
Dates to iCal 2 is a replacement for Apple's birthday calendar for iCal. It has a range of features to allow the user to choose what, and what not, to sync to iCal from Address Book.

If you purchased about 2 years ago new I am sure it is a Intel iMac. To find out what type of iMac you have just click on the Apple menu item in the finder and select about this Mac. I would check the ISP mail site and get the correct outgoing mail server info.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.

Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

It was pointed out that my links do not function correctly on Firefox on a Windows platform. When links are clicked, they do not fully display the NEW page until the mouse is moved! I have now observed it for myself on my fathers PC running Windows XP on Firefox.My PC is on Windows7
It is the 5 version of Firefox, so I know it is a current bug, and appears in no other browsers that I know of.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.

I am able to dld newer versions of firefox but they are not getting installed ... Currently 'about firefox' shows my version to be 27.0.1 but when I go into the troubleshooting option it shows I have version 28.0 and 29.0 in my update history. Please advise. Thanks

Obviously I have seen your post, and sorry you are having problems. Unfortunately this is likely to be because you did not take enough care on the Internet. It is all too easy to go to bad websites and pick up malware that once downloaded does things you may not like or expect.
Explanation

Finding such adware may be problematic, after all it is either downright malware which will try its best to evade being found and uninstalled, or it is adware that a minority of people actually like and deliberately download and install, usually after clicking small print saying this will happen.
Suggestions to try to Uninstall or Remove Adware
First thing to try, check which search engine is selected ? Because this is so simple and could have an effect it is worth checking what Search engine is selected for the Firefox Searchbar. You may have changed that, or software may have,and that will affect other searches including those from the address bar and the start page. All you need to do is click the little downward pointing arrowhead in the search bar and check what is in use and what is available. In most countries Firefox uses Google by default.
Check the shortcut Icons - has an address been added ? Right click the icon on the desktop used to start Firefox has an address been tacked on to the end of that. If something has changed that Firefox goes to that address as it starts up. For comparison use a run command directly. In Windows & with Firefox not already open Use keyboard shortcut Winkey+Run then when you get the run option key in ''firefox.exe'' & hit return. That will run Firefox without any extra instruction.
Adware removal 
I you have got adware, or unwanted software especially if it also affects other browsers (So check the use of Internet Explorer) look for anything unexpected installed in the Windows OS, use the Windows Control Panel. especially if only Firefox is affected check what is installed as extensions and plugins by using the addons manager.

I still cannot see all the music; some I downloaded and some I purchased. For example, I downloaded two CDs by The Band Perry; one is on iTunes and one isn't. I purchased iTunes Match before I changed computers so I could transfer it all to my new machine without have to load CDs again. I also purchased some songs that are no longer there.
I looked at the article you referenced and have completed all the recommended steps. I have authorized this computer and updated iTunes match. Is there any way to recover the music I downloaded, as well as purchases I made? (I purchased Viva la Vida by Coldplay and it's not on my iTunes. HT204150 I can't get my contacts back on my phone from my icloud. It's up and running and I have already turned on the contacts. The icloud online shows that I still have all of my contacts but they are not popping up on my phone.

I had my mom on my icloud through a different phone for the longest time and just took it off her phone today. Now all of my contacts have been erased from my phone. I went on the icloud online and it is showing that my contacts are still there, but they are not on my phone. I need help!!!

Go to Settings>iCloud and confirm that you are signed into the account that contains you conacts and that the contacts setting is turned on. Also open the contacts app and tap Groups (if you have this setting at the top) and make sure all your contacts groups are checked.
If they still don't appear, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud), then turn Contacts on again.
If they still don't appear, force-close the Contacts app and reset your phone: double-tap the home button, locate Contacts, swipe up on the image above the app icon to close it, tap the home button again. Then hold the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release and wait for it to restart. Then check your contacts again.

You have to install the iCloud control panel for windows, then sign in with you apple ID, and check what you want to sync.

And they were definitely purchased from the iTunes store, they show on the account's purchase history (Store > View Account on a computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com) ?
You could potentially log into the account on that computer's iTunes (Store > Sign Out to log out of your account, that will then change to a Store > Sign In option) and redownload them by clicking on the id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and Purchased on the popup :

Or do you have a different computer that you could redownload them on and then copy them over to that computer via a flash drive or memory card, and then add them to its iTunes via File > Add To Library ?
