If those photos were part of the camera roll, they were part of the backup as well and you can restore from the latest backup you made on the old computer. After that transfer the photos to the new PC, follow this article: iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
Then sync again to the new one, which will erase the phone again.
You can also try to copy the backup folder from the old computer to the new one and see if the old backups get recognized, check this article to find the location on your PC:

If the photos were not taken with the phone, your data is gone, photos you sync from iTunes to the phone are not included in the backup.

How do you view photos through windows explorer without using photo stream?
I updated to the iOS6 and I can no longer view and download photos to my PC through windows Explorer.
I do not really want too use photo stream and or the iCloud at this time...
It now appears Apple is now forcing you to use the iCloud to get pictures off of your iphone...
I dont want this, I want to do it manually, without the iCloud.
Help Please.I run ios6 and when I connect my iphone to windows it show up as a camera in my computer this have been the case since the first iphone when I click on the camera I can navigate to the folders to where my pictures and videos are stored only the ones taken on the iphone mind you again something don by design and worked like that forever

Iphone wont sync new music with new Macbook.
I recently purchased a new Macbook. Through home sharing I manged to transfer my itunes library from my old computer to my new one. Although my device is recognized on my new computer instead of being recognized as "Nicole's Iphone" its simply "Iphone". This morning I downloaded a few new songs to my library and tried to sync them to my phone with no luck. The phone will sync when connected to my new computer but none of the new music is transfered. How do I get my new computer to properly recognize my iphone? Do I need to deactivate itunes on my old computer? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

Ensure that your new computer is authorized for your Apple ID and then sync to test. If it does not work, then check Manually manage music and videos and then drag and drop the files that you want on your iPhone.

I downloaded the new version of iTunes the otherday and this morning I downloaded a new cd I've been waiting for for a while. Now that its downloaded and on my computer I can't for the life opf me get it to sync to my iphone. I updated my ipod touch to 5.1.1 and did a system restore. All of my purchased music from itunes went back on along with photos and apps but now it won't let me sync music that I downloaded. All of my music that was imported from cd's synced but not my downloaded music from internet. They went into my itunes library but they are a light gray and have a little sync symbol next to them. I've tried dragging them into different folders but nothing is working. I read that others were having problems with this update but didn't get any answers.
After you have updated your device to version 5.1.1, have you tried resyncing everything from your iTunes yet?

Upgrade iphone to ios7.0.3 now does not sync itunes music
Since I did the upgrade on my iphone to IOS 7.0.3 when I connect to iTunes to sync my latest playlist and music that I have downloaded everything else is syncd but the music does not sync. All the same boxes are ticked as per usual to sync the music on iTunes.
My ipad syncd the music perfectly so must be about the IOS 7.0.3 upgrade I did on my iphone 5S.

Be warned though. After synced, successfully, with iTunes 11.1, i ended up with over 10GB's of 'Other' data on my iphone. I had to do a factory reset (From iTunes/iPhone/Summary). It's been a pain in the ***, but it all seems fine now. But it has taken me hours. An di now have a headache.
Also, a factory reset will remove ALL your data, and i mean EVERYTHING! You've spend the rest of the day putting everything back the way you like it, and setting up all your setting again.

Sure thing bro, no problem. I assume your running Windows 7 or 8? So for me I had to update the iphone drivers.
First, open Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound then devices and printers look for your apple iphone under the "Unspecified Devices" tab, Right click on it, choose properties, after that you'll choose the hardware tab to the right of the box that opens. When you click on hardware, choose properties again toward the bottom. Then you'll choose settings, after that you should see the Driver tab, 2nd one. Click that and choose update driver, then browse my computer for driver software, after that you'll want to navigate to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers and click Ok. The driver should update and all should be good after that. Matter of fact, here is the article i used. Good luck dude!!

Can see photos in Windows Explorer, but not through Photos app
I had to get my iPhone 6 (64GB) replaced due to a hardware issue. I backed up my old iPhone, and then restored the backup onto my new iPhone. Everything ported over fine, except for the photos. I lost about 1 month worth of photos. The weird thing is that I can view these photos when I explore my phone through Windows Explorer, yet they are not appearing in the Photos app. I have tried another restore but it does not fix the problem. I'm using iOS 8.1.

Unable to delete songs from IPOD except through Windows Explorer

I have a first gen 1 gb Ipod Nano ver Ver 1.3.1 modem #
ma352ll.
About a week ago i tried to free up some space on my ipod by removing some songs. Since I began using my ipod I have just felt more comfortable manually managing my songs. So what i would normally do is simply delete the song from the music folder on my ipod and it is usually gone. (I know that simply deleting from a playlist does not delete from ipod). When I tried deleting some songs I found that the available space on my ipod did not change and obviously could nto add any more songs. When I went into windows explorer, in the music folder for my ipod, I i found the songs I wanted to delete (they were large files because they were podcasts). When I deleted the file from windows explorer the space was freed up on my ipod.
I updated itunes and restored my ipod. I am not using itunes 7. Today I tried adding 7 podcasts to my ipod manually thru itunes and only 5 show up in my music folder, however, i can find all 7 in windows explorer AND all 7 in the playlists I added them to. They play perfectly fine when I play them, but obviously if I tried to delete the 2 suspect files from my playlist they would still be hidden somewhere on my ipod and I can only delete them through windows explorer.
I am not sure what to do at this point, is there anybody who can shed some light on what I am doing wrong or if this is a known issue with itunes and and 1st gen nanos. It's getting annoying to have to play each file in winamp from windows explorer to find the song titles I want to delete and keep the rest. The folders show up as F00, F001, etc... and the songs show up as QVRD.mp3. I havew to play the file QVRD.mp3 throguh winamp so the name of the song comes up so I know if that is the hidden file or one of the others thats how up in itunes that I want to keep. Any ideas out there?Try:

I have a iPhone 5. In usage, it says i have 2.1 gigs used because of photos and camera. I have deleted all my photos via iPhoto and now reset the phone back to factory settings in order to try to solve this problem, to no avail. Both iTunes and the phone say that 2.1 gigs are being used, even though the phone now has nothing on it. What is going on?
Yeah it works fine over wifi the problem is when I try to use it over my 3G. It's really stressing me out now.
