It should be installed automatically if you install iTunes, but I guess when you installed iTunes you didn't have Firefox. Just reinstall iTunes and it should work OK (your iTunes library will not be affected) -

My 3GS will not let me login to iTunes or App store. It says "cannot connect to iTunes store".
In iTunes, do Store->View my AppleID
Click "Deuthorize ALL"
Then, on any computers you still have, do Store->Authorize this computer. If there are less than 5, you will have no problem.
You can only do "deauthorize all" once a year, so in the future, if you ever throw a computer away, remember do to "Store->Deauthorize this computer" first. -

Try just choosing yes when it says that. And yes if you get it a second time. Lots of mail providers don't use SSL.

80gb iPod classic, only about 2200 songs on it. was playing one of the preinstalled gams on the ipod while on the bus today, and it froze as it was loading. so i did the normal thing to reset it and when it started back up it says there is 'no music' on it. it didn't really erase everything did it? it was not connected to my computer and it's never done this before. HELP!
The music and content is probably still there, but is no longer recognizable by your iPod's software. Could be the result of a corrupt db file that maps out the music and it's location on your iPod's drive. Have you tried another reset to see if that helps at all? A shot in the dark, but it can't possibly make the situation any worse at this point.
Is the content that is currently on your iPod classic still in your iTunes library? If so, simply connect your iPod to iTunes and restore it to factory settings. Then sync all your songs and such back over to it.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

If you cannot connect to your incoming mail server, then you need to check your mail account and the incoming mail settings. What is the rest of the error that it shows about not being able to connect to the server. It should provide you with more info.

my phone keep asking me to sign in to iTunes store and will not allow me to download apps. it sends a message saying "Cannot connect to itunes store" what do i do?
Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -

Restart your computer and the iPhone. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.
