i cant use i message because it says "i message needs to be enabled to sen this message" but how? i dont know how to enable it!!!

What does "iMessage needs to be enabled to send this message" mean? I can't get my messages to send and when I try that pops up. What is it and how can I fix it?

I have a similar problem as the OP, I wished to disable iMessage just to avoid the complications of having two messaging systems. Also, I never use data and always keep it off in order to save battery. Third, I noticed that when using iMessage, sometimes others' messages to me reach me late, i.e. they would send it at 3 pm and I would receive it at 6 pm when I turned on my wi-fi (remember, I have data off always). However, for one of my contacts, I noticed that the "send" button was still blue, rather than green (as you know, green is for ordinary SMS while blue is for iMessage). However, I managed to find a workaround. First, I turned on iMessage, then I turned on "send as SMS if imessage not available" in the settings. Then, I disconnected my wifi and data so that imessage would not be available, then I tried to send an iMessage to the person in question (the one with the button stuck on blue). This time I did NOT get the error message, but the iMessage tried to send anyways, getting stuck when the bar was around 85% complete. Then, I pressed on the speech bubble being sent, and manually chose "send as text message"). Voila! the button suddenly turned green, and now I can send regular texts to that person again!

@Dmitriy Buldakov, have you found the solution to the issue yet? I have the same problem, no option to turn on MMS in my iPhone settings. I checked the settings on my friend's iPhone, which has the same iOS version as me (8.1.1), and the option is there. It's really annoying...

SMS is a cellular carrier function. Contact your cellular carrier and make sure you are correctly set up with an SMS plan.

MMS messaging needs to be enabled to send

That's the message I get on my iPad when trying to send a picture using text message forwarding Through my iPhone. Regular texts work fine, only pictures on non iMessages give me the error. And yes, MMS messaging is enabled and works when I just use my iPhone.

Fixed it by toggling off my text forwarding and toggling back on. Had to re enter the code and all was well.

How do I show visitors w/o Java "You need java script enabled to view this site" ?

I use Firefox as my browser and through the use of NoScript generally do not have Java Scripting active. Although I can often tell just by the behavior of a page I visit that I need to enable some Javascripts, I often get a clear message from the website itself - something like "we see that you do not have Java script enabled, please do so" or perhaps "without Javascript you cannot view this site properly."
Now, I can just put a general message on the "splash page" saying "this website requires Java script to be enabled" for every visitor to see, but I would rather have the message just for those that need to see it because Java script is disabled. How do I do that?

BUT - I have discovered the following: dropping the "noscript text on the page to create an HTML object works and the "your browser. . ." text appears when Javascript is turned off, and just where I want it !
Now I just have to teach myself enough coding that I can set the text size and color and I'll drop this baby on every page. Whoopee!

IMessage needs to be enabled...

From photo album I hit select and chose 3 pictures then I hit the box with the up arrow in the bottom left hand corner and hit Message. I type in the recipient and hit send but I get an error message that says: Cannot Send Message, iMessage needs to be enabled to send this message.
The thing is iMessage is enabled and so is mms. Also this shouldn't be going threw as an iMessage as it's being sent to a regular phone. I've disabled and re-enabled iMessage but it still wont go threw.
The reason I am trying to send pictures this way it because I can't select more than one at a time as for the other way it's one at a time.

How to send this command to RS232 Port

I want to use LV to control a label printer to print what I need. Following info is from printer user manual.
From RS232 port:

In VB I can use this command to control the printer. But In LV how can I do?

A string control or constant in LabVIEW can be set for normal, hex, or '\' code display by just right clicking on the control constant. CHR$(27) is the the ESC character and the hex equivalent of 27 is 1B. The CR is hex 0D. So, a simple way to do this would be to have a hex display constants for the ESC and CR character and a normal display for the the command. Use the concantanate string function to build one string.

Try this even if you have already. Just make sure to follow the steps specifically.
Go to settings > Facetime > send and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out. If your not signed in then that will work as well.
Go to settings > Messages > sent and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out.
Restart the iPad by doing the slide to power off setup. Just hold the power button on the top right till it turns off.
After the iPad has been restarted:
Go to settings > Facetime > and sign in
Go to settings > Messages > and sign in
Wait about 3 min then restart the iPad again. Same instructions as above.
When you restart you should be able to use messages again. If not then call support again and talk to someone higher than the first level support they have.

After I finished it, everything was working well in flash and firefox. I have only one problem and question concerning the feed back form for sending info from my website to my emailaddres. I created my website “LisbonDreamWalking”in Flash CS5 pro. I herein have a contact page, where people can send an email for a walk in Lisbon, date,the number of people etc. Now I want through my ISP / host funpic.org, that the input, info text fields to be sended to my emailaddress [email protected]. My mail URL adress iss: http://lisbondreamwalk.li.funpic.org This is a free host, so they don't work with forms like in the course, and I need some additional info for the php.
