Hm, good suggestion, but I've actually already done this (and I've had a friend go through the steps with me). There is just NOTHING that is showing up under any of the categories in the cloud for downloading. The thing is, I'm just not sure if I enabled cloud-sharing or not on my iphone (although I know I've backed up my data through cloud on my iphone at some point).

Also, before updating, I used to go into the browser cache and copy the temporary file for a video (detected by refreshing the cache window) to another folder when the vid was finished playing, then I would add the .flv extension and *snap* I have the video saved. The cool thing about this was that I could skip forward in a video such as a news program to the segment I want, whereas with video downloaders I must save the whole thing. Since updating, the cache folder is full of dozens of folders, which each contain folders, which each contain multiple temp files, so it's MUCH harder to snatch the temp file without using the search feature specifying the date and size. Is there any way to upgrade to the 5s through international mail?
Based on my AT&T contract in the US, I am eligible to upgrade my phone at any AT&T or Apple store. I'm currently in South Africa, where neither store exists, and will be here for another 8 months. Additionally, I had my phone unlocked and a Vodacom sim installed in order to use a local number here in Africa while keeping the US number and simply minimizing the plan. Is there a way I'd still be able to upgrade to the new iPhone from here, or would I need to wait until I arrive back to the US? I'm thinking I might be able to receive the 5s either through mail or through an iStore (Apple reseller here), complete the data transfer through my MacBook, and return the 4s model either through the mail to Apple or the iStore. I went to the iStore and was advised that this would have to be facilitated directly through Apple... Any suggestions are appreciated.

Would it be possible to receive the free upgrade through the reseller here and put the phone on the same US plan when I return, or would iStore not be able to access the upgrade subsidy through Apple? They are an authorized reseller, but the sales associate I spoke to when I was there didn't seem to understand the subsidized upgrade policy coming from the US.

It's locked to Sprint which means they have the key to unlock it. For the most part, you've answered your own question by speaking directly to Sprint. As for "other way(s)" Google is your friend.

Is there any way to get my lock button unstuck without having to go to an Apple store?
My iPod lock button happens to be stuck and I would like to be able to lock it.
The closest Apple store is about 40 minutes away, so I'd also like to fix it without having to go all the way out there.

I have an iPod Touch 4th Gen, and whenever I plug it into one particular computer, it has trouble detecting the camera's files (but it works on all others). I know this tells me that it's either a driver conflict, or something in the BIOS. I don't particularly want to be messing about in the BIOS though if I'm completely honest. Can anyone give any insight as to what my ipod is conflicting with/why it won't open in Windows.
The only time the iPod opens in Windows is if I go into 'Devices and Printers' and troubleshoot the device "Apple iPod" (Apple Mobile Device USB Driver works fine) but I have to do this every single time!
The computer I am using is running Windows 7 64-bit.
I have looked at the list of conflicting drivers which are given by Apple and I own no drivers by any of these manufacturers as far as I know.
(Thought I'd be better underlining that because someone will probably try and send me to that page.)

I rented a movie through itunes on my ipad and wanted to watch it with friends on a digital projector, but it wouldn't allow me to do it. Is there any way around this?
The issue was that a dialogue box came up which said that I couldn't play this movie on another device. I tried playing the same movie on an Tv with an HDMI connection attached to an adapter to the IPad and that worked. I wonder if the problem is that the digital projector has a VGA connection.

Hi, sorry if this is a silly question, but when I'm viewing my desktop on the home computer from work (as in I've connected by finding my computer in the finder and hit the "Share Screen" button - is there any way to turn off the display at home? It seems a bit of a waste of power to have the screen on when I'm not actually there - I just need to be able to see all my programs etc on the remote screen in order to use them. My home computer is a 2011 iMac running latest Mountain Lion, work is a 2010 MacBook Pro.

MattI've set up another user on my home Mac and left that one logged in. Now when I connect from work it asks me if I want to share the screen or log on virtually as my user. I think choosing the second option doesn't power up the screen.

I just downloaded a video in HD, but I found out after the download was over my computer doesn't play HD videos. Is there any way I can return the video and get the SD version, or upgrade my computer so it will play the HD video?

The phone will automatically re-appear when it connects to the Internet. However, don't get your hopes up, as thieves know this & will make sure your phone never re-connects so you can locate it.

When you log into you icloud account on your computer you are viewing data that you sync to icloud not the backups. You can't view the backups.
