hey i got my g3 running i love it i would like a extra one but my friend is asking to much $100 for one
i would like one with at minumun with 128mb ram, the apple cd rom i had a problem becaus i did not have one and that made a problem and a 266mh cpu
hard drive would be optional because i have a bed made out of spare pc hard drives
OS is optional

I suggested surplus options which fit his current budget. Alan suggested what to watch for that would be almost as good as new but would need to motivate him to set a new budget. Your comment helps as an accuracy check. All good.
I am just curious if DNT is even still tuned in. If so, I have good news for him because one source now has several G3s on the shelf for $10 retail. If he checks back in on his post and responds, I will post the name of the place for him to contact. Otherwise, I will assume that we, the lurkers, have tagged on our tidbits to the point of turning this into a mutually beneficial infomercial.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

I live and work in the Tampa/St. Petersburg FL area and was looking for a company that has implemented and using Business Objects Enterprise XI Release 2 SP2. Preferrably with SQL Server 2000, IIS, .NET and Crystal Reports XI R2, Active Directory authentication, on a Windows Server 2003 machine and a data mart.
Even if it is a different version, different database, using Java, different anything, I just would love to speak with someone and get any feedback, tidbits, direction, anything. I cannot find any user groups or I would be the first one there!
I am working on this project by myself from scratch for what is going to turn into a portal for thousands of employees. I am teaching myself BOXI Enterprise using forums, books, BOXI manuals, BOXI support and Google. I have never worked with Active Directory or servers, networking, I am a Crystal Reports person and SQL. This is a new and challenging project but of course it is needed yesterday and I am desperate for help. My company is not able to send me to training or I would be there.
Even if it's just a few spare moments of anyone's time I just would love to speak with you or someone that is the administrator BOXIE or uses it, works with it, anything. I'll come to your business if possible or speak on the phone.
I have questions like, who set it up? How many people set it up? What did you do first? Benefits with using business views and universes. How difficult was it to roll out. Did you train the users? Did you hire a consultant.
Again, anyone willing to speak to me, in person, on the phone, through e-mail, whatever means I would greatly appreciate it. I'm about to start calling business' if I can find them online that use BOXIE and see if I can speak to someone.
Thank you so much for any replies. If anyone knows of business' even I will call and see if an IT manager would let me talk to them just for a few or come and see their deployment. This may be asking to much but you never know.

We're using Crystal XI for our development over a combination of DB2 (iSeries M3 ERP), SQL Server (online customer app), SQL Server (product imaging)SQL Server Express (Client based scheduling ), Access (legacy quoting system), MySQL (web-based quality and improvement apps) and a SQL Server-based DataMart and OLAP warehousing tool.
We server our BI through Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI) which is built around BOXIE but proved to be more cost effective than BOXIE which we evaluated at the same time. We have about 10 years of experience creating and deploying Crystal-based BI.

hi, i have an imac which i bought second hand but but the itunes store wont load up nor will me songs ect sync with the itunes on this comp? i have had no issues with this on previous laptops.... any more of this and i may move to samsung! please help!

we have a movie downloaded on a laptop connected to the internet pluged into our router in the basement and an apple tv upstairs trying to play the movie through home sharing but it wont play. can anyone tell me whats wrong? it comes to the last loading page where it shows the desscription of the movie befor it acually plays.
It can come about without any change done by the user, and it's not just from other networks. The placement of the router can also affect performance. Also make sure router is up to date.
Apart from that would be the reboots. -

It uses a combination of frame tweens and AS2 tween classes for it's animation.
Some parts of it were made to tween with AS2, but were jumping (skipping) frames so I changed them to frame tween and it ACTUALLY WORKED BETTER.
Why can't I just design in Flash with the tools that are available in it, and then be able to see it come out working smoothly?
Frame rate on this project is 36, btw.
Just thought I'd put this out there. Is there a better program out there for web animation that runs more smoothly? Or is there something I'm missing?

None of the animation in Flash is compressed into ready to use bits of media like digital video. So playing a Flash file, or Director, or Unity, or... relies on the power of the computer in the user's hands. Its very simple to design a Flash movie that plays poorly. It takes much more finesse to design and produce a Flash movie that plays well on the computers of the intended audience.

I have a first generation MacBook Air that has been refurbished via the Apple store. I installed Snow Leopard about a year ago and now, my computer wont update! It will download the updates restart my computer, but then I get an error message and the computer wont restart!
What is a error message and what do you see when it appears?
Haven't much problem with Airs around here, since they have a SSD they tend to be more reliable.
Perhaps it was a bad update, have you ran through this list of possible fixes?
Do as many as possible, starting with #1. Until the problem is resolved.
Use the boot 10.6 USB instead of the disk of course.
