I mirror my iphone 4s to my Apple TV and can't use my headphones straight to the iphone 4s. Is there a way to avoid running a really long cable to the tv jack?

I think apple may have overlooked that alot of people watch tv with headphones on, it would have been really good to mirror the iphone 4s and use the headphone jack on the iphone 4s to run the headphones.
I'm the kind of person who walks about when watching tv, not everyone in my family wants it on so it would have been great to just listen to it through the iphone.
At the moment I am faced with having to use a really long cable to the tv which just isn't going to work.
Have I missed something here, I have gone through the settings on the iphone to see if I can find a way around this?

You can't combine or merge iCloud IDs, but you can migrate the iCloud data from one account to another if you wanted to move it to a different ID.

Hi, thanks for the answer, I did that already. Unfortunatly this doesn't help me at all, as I often forget to check the menu. For me composing the message is writing the text, the subject, the person to who is addressed and than press "send".
I often forget to check the "from", and this is a problem because the software select itself one of the accounts.
Isn't there a way at least to put as a default a blank field instead of one of the accounts? or an account which doesn't work so if I forget to specify the "from" I will be rnotofied that the message can't be sent.
I guess this could be a rather common problem for many people!

I need to shut my zoom off on my Iphone 5, it is to large and can't use the phone.

I went to accessibilty and clicked on Zoom and was experimenting with it and got the screen to large and can't get it back to normal, now I can't use the phone because it is magnified so much. Tried to connect to help but couldn"t see the message that Apple sent to me on my phone. Don't have all the specs because the party was out of state from where she lived therefore I have any more info. Please help.

I changed my apple ID and can't use my iCloud

I recently changed my apple ID and I logged in on my iPhone and Macbook Pro on iMessage and Facetime and everything works smoothly except iCloud on my phone. It still registers my old apple id and asks for a password, but it doesn't accept my old password nor my new one. And it's greyed out on the selection on General > iCloud so I can't change it and there's no "Delete Account" button that everyone suggests.
How do I go through this?

Return to the old apple id login. Login using this same apple id as that which is logged into your icloud account.
Once you have logged in with this apple id, your icloud account should then be available. Once your icloud account is available you then can delete the icloud account. Once deleted you then will log out of the old apple id login in and login with the new apple id. Once logged in you then can add a new icloud account.
(remember to save data from deleted icloud account)

Changed Apple ID and can't use icloud

okay, so basically today I changed my Apple ID and password. hours after changing it, my iMessage was not working. turns out my icloud is no longer working since I change my Apple ID. in icloud settings, it says my old Apple ID and it is greyed out and I can't change it. I have read that changing my Apple ID BACK to my original ID and password, and then deleting my icloud account, then switching my ID again would work. the problem is, that email for my old ID is "inactive" meaning I can't get emails, or the verification one. when I had tried that, because I couldn't get the verification emailI called apple and he said give it 24 hours to update, but from what I'm reading, that won't work. I also do not remember my security questions since they were made years ago, and my rescue email or whatever it is called is also inactive. I keep getting a pop up to log into icloud with my apple ID, and it asks for the password for my OLD ID, which obviously will not work since I changed it. I think I might be stuck here.

You need to do the following:
1.     Log into Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID using the EDIT button back to your old email address. This is temporary. Do NOT verify it, do NOT change the password: Apple - My Apple ID
2.     Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Delete Account. Type in your current Apple ID password when asked, and follow the prompts to delete the iCloud account
3.     Sign out of Messages: go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, click on your Apple ID, and then on Sign Out
4.     Sign out of FaceTime: go to Settings>FaceTime, click on your Apple ID and then on Sign Out
5.     Go back to Manage your Apple ID and sign in with the old Apple ID and your current password. Change the Apple ID back to the new email address. You may need to verify it again
6.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your new ID
7.      Do the same with Messages and FaceTime

In the iOS 5.1 there's a handy feature to take pictures without giving your enter-code first. But this also enables unwanted users to enter the phone without the code. Is there any way to avoid this? Geert

If your enter code is enabled you only have access to the camera, not even your camera roll.

She needs to call the carrier on her old iPhone and have it removed from her account.
Once she does that you will not be able to use iMessage because that only works Apple to Apple.
You will need to use something else like Skype instead.

Press any key on the wireless keyboard after you close the MBP and it goes to sleep. The computer will wake up with the external monitor as its display. This is called Clamshell mode.

No not bothered about sycing apps etc it is all about calendars and maybe notes. IN terms of how its done I just want it the easiest way and preferably so that if an entry is made on one calendar then it populates the other.

Try going into your account details on iTunes, change your info there, then sync your devices.
